The crash occurred just before 9 a.m., along Concession Road 9 and 3/4 Sunnidale Sideroad. A total of five people were involved in the collision, according to police. Emergency crews responded with three trucks. Some of the injured were transported to the local hospital by ambulance with a range of injuries, from minor to serious. Officials say one person was air-lifted to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing. Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have dashcam footage to contact the Huronia West OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
