The I Love That For You star is filling in all week alongside Jenna Bush Hager, and fans have quickly taken to the Las Culturistas podcast host, flooding the show's social media presence to demand that he become a permanent addition to the NBC mainstay.
'OBSESSED with this duo,' wrote one fan as others agreed, commenting that NBC needs to 'give him the job' and calling Bush Hager and Rogers an 'iconic duo.'
'He's really fun and cute! Enjoyed watching Y'all this morning,' said a fan, while another pleaded to 'Make Matt the permanent host.'
Rogers' podcast co-host, Saturday Night Live star Bowen Yang, equally delighted fans when he had a turn co-hosting the fourth hour of the Today show last month.
Fans loved him so much that they took to social media to declare that he's 'Such a great cohost,' and call him 'a natural,' begging for him to take the permanent seat vacated by Hoda Kotb earlier this year.
