Voice of Winnie the Pooh soothes grandson to sleep with iconic voice
Imagine a younger version of yourself falling asleep in Winnie the Pooh's arms. That's the reality baby Jax has been living in ever since Jim Cummings, the 72-year-old voice of Winnie the Pooh, became a grandfather. On June 8, Cummings took to Instagram to share a video of him in Grandpa mode. 'You're braver than you believe, smarter than you seem and stronger than you think. And cute as a button,' Cummings said to his grandson in Winnie the Pooh's voice. In the video, Cummings is rubbing his grandson's back as he cradles him in his arms. 'My Grandson and nap time with Winnie the Pooh,' the voice actor wrote in the caption. Cummings has been the soft and gentle voice behind Winnie the Pooh for nearly four decades since replacing Sterling Holloway in that role in 1988. He has voiced more than 600 cartoon characters throughout his career, according to IMDB. In addition to Winnie the Pooh, Cummings has been the voice of Tigger since 1989, the Tasmanian Devil since 1991 and Pete (an arch nemesis of Mickey Mouse) since 1992. More recently, Cummings has been enjoying his life as a grandfather — and fans are soaking it all in, too. 'That voice takes me back to my childhood and makes me feel so safe and happy. That is one lucky grandkid. Little dude gets to grow up with that feeling,' one fan wrote under Cummings' latest video. 'Little guy gets an archive of his grandpas voice. How amazing is that? I would give anything to hear my grandparents voices again,' another fan wrote under the video. Fans caught their first glimpse of Cummings as a grandfather on May 26, when he posted a video of him singing 'Be Prepared' (in Scar's voice) from the 1994 film 'The Lion King.' Cummings voiced Ed (one of the three hyenas) in the film, in addition to singing the final verse in 'Be Prepared' as Scar. 'I know it sounds sordid, but you'll be rewarded,' he sang to his grandson before he was interrupted and jokingly told to avoid villainous voices around the baby. Cummings returned to Instagram on June 1 with a video of him wrapped in a blanket with the little one. 'Oh my goodness, is that little fist as sweet as honey?' Cummings said in his best Winnie the Pooh voice. 'Carol, stand back. He may start bouncing at any moment. Ya never know!' he added in a Tigger voice. Cummings shares two children with his ex-wife Stephanie Cummings, whom he was married to for 10 years from 2001 to 2011, according to his IMBd. He's also a father to two other daughters from a previous relationship, according to VC Star. Cummings is now married to a woman named Margaret Judge, who shares three children with her ex-husband Christopher Judge, according to IMDB. One of her sons, Cameron Judge, welcomed his first child (Jax, as seen in the videos above) with his wife Brittany Judge on Jan. 6. 'Mommy and Daddy love you so much and can't wait to begin life as your parents,' Cameron Judge, who plays for the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL, wrote on Instagram at the time. 'So proud of my amazing wife and I can't wait to see you as a mother,' he added in the caption.

The 'young Neapolitans navigate friendship, love and dreams of a better tomorrow', according to the synopsis Many have taken to IMDb to leave reviews and one fan posted: 'I have to say the acting is phenomenal considering the actors are newbies. It's a story about love, hate and revenge. 'Young teenagers making mistakes and learning from them, making friends and memories along the way. 'The chemistry between couples like Rosa & Carmine and Cardio & Gemma is just perfect. The first season was really sad. 'The second season was good and the third season was the best. Rosa honestly carried the third season I love her character. 'I hope Edoardo ends up with Carmela. I do have to say there is a lot of unnecessary nudity in the third season. Overall i love the soundtrack and the actors. 'You feel sympathetic towards the characters as you watch them. It's an addicting show.' While another likened the show to The Godfather and said: 'It does hold your interest in a hard to explain way. 'The plot is like The Godfather for kiddies, except these "juveniles" look anything but juvenile, perhaps young adults in their mid twenties at least.
