Megan Young and Mikael Daez are only a week old into their new roles as parents but it seems the Kapuso couple know exactly what to do — with their makeshift knowledge. On Instagram, Mikael posted a video of the two of them soothing their newborn with the Backstreet Boys song "I Want It That Way." Mikael was holding the baby, and Megan was gamely singing and dancing along and when they finished, the new dad told their baby, "that is what you call beautiful singing." "Vintage music," Megan piped in. "You're millennials but forgot all the usual lullabies," Mikael wrote in the video as he added in the caption, "kanya-kanyang diskarte para mapatahan ang baby." According to Mikael, at just a few days, they're just trying to figure out what works for their baby boy. "Instinctively napunta sa BSB bigla ang lullaby repertoire ko, si Bonez papuntang Doechii, sa tingin ko," he added. Megan and Mikael announced the birth of their firstborn last Wednesday. McLean admitted he was lucky to have retreated before things could have gone in a deadly direction. A turning point in Miami McLean spoke about a very bleak incident three and a half years ago that turned around his recovery. He shared, "I was doing a show in Miami on my own with a friend of mine and I went out that night. I went hard." The artist confessed that one thing led to another, and he was again taking drugs. Once he returned home, he tried to conceal his relapse by consuming lots of coffee and breath mints. "I consumed a c**p tonne of coffee and tried breath mints and all this rubbish," he stated. Even though he tried to keep his addiction hidden, McLean's wife knew about his issues already. "My wife had known all along and was simply waiting for me to be truthful, which was my greatest issue for decades-being truthful with anyone concerning it because I was attempting to make it work. And naturally, as we all know, it worked until it did not," he confessed. The stress of addiction ultimately led to the dissolution of his 13-year marriage, McLean and his wife having two daughters together. Family and recovery The 'Missing You' singer revealed that it was his daughter who ultimately inspired him to seek help and turn his life around. Hitting rock bottom, McLean recognized the need for change and is now grateful for the second chance he's been given. 'I hit rock bottom, but I'm glad to have come out of it better,' he reflected.

The Backstreet Boys 'Into the Millennium' Sphere residency is set to be a larger-than-life event. The boy band — which consists of Kevin Richardson, AJ McLean, Nick Carter, Howie Dorough and Brian Littrell — is returning to the stage, this time to celebrate a major milestone: the 25th anniversary of their hit album 'Millennium.' The Backstreet Boys initially announced their nine-date 'Into the Millennium' Sphere residency on Feb. 12. They later announced that they added three more dates when they made their appearance on TODAY on Feb. 14. Pre-sales for the 12-date residency are happening now and this week, with general tickets available Feb. 21. The Backstreet Boys, who are the first pop act to headline at Sphere, are bringing their iconic album to life, alongside a number of their greatest hits and 'cutting-edge visuals and sound made possible by Sphere's revolutionary immersive technology,' per a press release. 'We're excited to take that album, that concept of the future, to the next level in the most state of the art venue,' Richardson said while on TODAY on Feb. 14. The name of the residency is a nod to their 1999 and 2000 tour of the same name that supported their third album, 'Millennium.' 'Millennium' was released in May 1999 and included their hit songs 'I Want It That Way,' 'Larger Than Life,' 'Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely' and 'The One.' The singers even paid tribute to the record by re-creating the cover art for the residency's poster. Additionally, the group is also releasing a new album, 'Millennium 2.0,' which will come out on July 11. The album is a deluxe version of 'Millennium' with 25 songs that include the original 12 songs remastered, live recordings, demos and the alternate version of 'I Want It That Way.' They also dropped a new song titled 'Hey' ahead of the album's release.
