Florence Pugh puts on a very emotional performance as she stars in Yungblud's latest music video as singer shares a sneak peek at new song Zombie
Florence Pugh put on a very emotional performance as she starred in Yungblud's latest music video for his new song Zombie. After sending fans wild on Wednesday as he confirmed the British actress, 29, would be featuring in the latest track, on Friday he shared a sneak peek at the video ahead of its release at 4pm. The Oppenheimer star can be seen in tears in the short clip as she screams before the shot cuts to a black screen reading 'Zombie'. Zombie is the third single from Yungblud's forthcoming album, Idols which is set for release on June 20. Speaking about the track, Yungblud- real name Dominic Harrison- explained: 'The song was written initially about my grandmother going through serious injury and trauma, leading her to become a different person to who she was before. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'It's about the feeling of deterioration and ugliness; shutting out the world and the people we love out of the fear of becoming a burden or an embarrassment.' He added: 'We all want someone or something to comfort us no matter how we are right now or who we become in the future. But it's f***ing scary.' The song's powerful video matches its message, with Florence portraying a healthcare worker at her emotional brink, overwhelmed by grief and exhaustion. Fans were treated to a preview of the track at Yungblud's surprise London gig in March. The artist announced a last minute show at Scala, playing Zombie to a packed out room. On Wednesday Yungblud sent fans wild after he shared an image of a clapperboard with the Thuderbolts star's name on it alongside the caption 'Friday [two eye emojis] @florencepugh'. 'I'm so proud of you and what we made. Well done babe', Florence commentented. She also reshared his post on her own Instagram Story alongside the caption 'Very cool things to come'. Fans rushed to the comments to share their excitement, writing: '@florencepugh love it can't wait', '@florencepugh can't wait to see this music video', 'can't wait to see this! I just know it will be epic!!!!', '@florencepugh OMGGGG FLORENCE WHAT IS THIS IM SO EXCITED ❤️❤️' Yungblud first teased the news that a British actress was starring in his video at a playback for his new album last month. He said: 'We have got a massive f****** British actress in the video — it is going to be iconic. This song is called Zombie. 'It is a ballad and what I learned as a songwriter is trying to write about a specific event but not forcing you to feel what I feel when you hear it. 'To form your own experience, your own ideas, your own life. I remember when I was making this album, I am really close with Lewis [Capaldi] and he was like, 'Dom, just fing sing, man!'. 'I have always been shouting a lot and so I am singing on this song.' Fans rushed to the comments to share their excitement, writing: '@florencepugh love it can't wait' Yungblud recently revealed he believes he's finally found 'the love of his life' in Cher 's goddaughter - despite breaking off their relationship following a period of intense 'insecurity.' He had finally settled into a long-term relationship with Los Angeles-based singer and fashion designer Jesse Jo Stark after a string of failed romances, among them a short-lived fling with Halsey. But in a far-reaching interview with Paul C. Brunson's We Need To Talk podcast this week, he admitted that Jesse, 34, agreed to a temporary separation as he wrestled with the pressures of living life in the spotlight. Yungblud said: 'This year has been such a strange thing for me because it's the first time that probably the biggest love of my life, I've taken space from and I've asked for space. 'Last year I was really having problems with myself and it was all a me problem.' He added: 'Her name's Jesse Stark. She's probably the most incredible person I've ever met and she's my best friend and I feel so lucky to be in her orbit.' Jesse is the daughter of the founder and CEO of luxury goods brand Chrome Hearts, Richard Stark, and is goddaughter to pop veteran Cher (L-R Laurie Lynn Stark, Cher and Jesse in 2024) The Doncaster-born star admitted he maintains regular contact with Jesse, who is the daughter of the founder and CEO of luxury goods brand Chrome Hearts, Richard Stark, and is goddaughter to pop veteran Cher. Yungblud said: 'I got to talk this through with her and she understood and she needed a moment. 'We talk every Sunday and I mean ultimately I think in my life all roads lead to her because I love her. I never loved anything like I love her. 'I love her as everything. And I love her as if I'd love water. I need it. You know, and I think I'd never experience love like it because when you could be that honest with another human being, even in times when we're not technically together.' Despite ending the relationship, the singer insisted he was hopeful that he will start a family with Jesse once he has worked his way through the emotional issues that ultimately led to their separation. 'I think at this moment in time, I needed to build up a fundamental basis of a personality. I was a shell, so I didn't know what I could love,' he explained. 'I will love that girl until I die and if that ends up like we like I would love it for one day to have loads of kids with her and vibe out and do all the like whatever the fairy tale thing is but if that doesn't happen that doesn't happen.' Yungblud's relationship with Jesse followed a short-lived romance with fellow pop star Halsey, who he dated for several months in 2019 and admits entered his life as they were both establishing their music careers. He recalled: 'I was cool to her and it was that there were almost two things colliding. That's why I don't think we worked out. And it was epic. We weren't completing each other.'

Dak Prescott becomes a dad again, introduces newborn daughter Aurora Rayne (Getty Images) Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has officially become a proud girl dad—again. Just days after welcoming their second daughter, Prescott and fiancée Sarah Jane Ramos shared the joyous news with fans, offering a heartwarming glimpse into their growing family and their life beyond the football field. Dak Prescott melts hearts with birth of second baby girl The couple's newborn daughter, Aurora Rayne Prescott, was born on May 22, 2025—right on her due date. Aurora joins her big sister, Margaret Jane 'MJ' Rose Prescott, who was born just a little over a year ago on February 29, 2024. With two daughters under two, the Prescotts are embracing parenthood with a sense of unity, intention, and immense gratitude. Prescott took to Instagram to celebrate the arrival, writing, 'Thank You God! Welcome, Aurora Rayne! May 22, 2025. God is Great. I love you @sarahjane and the Family we've created.' His heartfelt words were paired with intimate family photos, showing the quarterback fully embracing this new chapter off the field. Her post featured adorable snaps of Dak holding both daughters and candid moments of the siblings bonding. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Buy Brass Idols - Handmade Brass Statues for Home & Gifting Luxeartisanship Buy Now Undo For the couple, this growing family wasn't a surprise—it was part of the plan. Back in December, Ramos told Sports Illustrated Swimsuit that they had always envisioned raising their children close in age. The name 'Rayne,' a touching nod to Prescott's own full name—Rayne Dakota Prescott—was thoughtfully chosen, tying father and daughter together through more than just love. The family milestone arrives during a significant time in Prescott's professional life as well. After undergoing surgery for a season-ending hamstring injury last year, the quarterback has returned to the Cowboys' offseason program with renewed focus and energy. In a May press conference, Prescott credited Ramos for her strength and support during these demanding months. 'I credit mom at home. She's a champion. She allows me to come in here and focus when I need to focus and she makes sure that house runs... Honestly, I'm blessed to be able to come in and give all my energy here.' For Prescott, fatherhood has deeply reshaped his perspective. 'When you wake up in the morning and you see that baby, you understand responsibilities... Now you want it for someone else even more. Yeah, it's special,' he reflected during a Children's Cancer Fund event in Dallas earlier this year. Prescott and Ramos, who first made their relationship public in September 2023, got engaged in October 2024 on a golf course—Ramos's favorite pastime. Prescott said, 'She's a big golfer, thought we were going golfing. I told her that we had a lifetime to golf.' The proposal was as personal as it was romantic, solidifying a bond that now extends to four. As the Cowboys gear up for their 2025 season opener against the Eagles, Prescott's life couldn't be more aligned—both on the gridiron and at home. With his jersey number matching the number of loved ones waiting for him at the door, #4 has never meant more.
