Controversial I'm A Celeb star signs up for Bake Off eighteen months after jungle feud
CONTROVERSIAL I'm A Celeb star is swapping creepy crawlies for cake tins - signing up for Bake Off just 18 months after a fiery jungle feud. The reality TV troublemaker is set to roll up their sleeves and step into the famous tent for the celebrity edition. 5 5 Nella Rose caused chaos in the I'm A Celeb jungle back in 2023 with her headline-grabbing clashes and tearful exit. Now the YouTube sensation is hoping to whip up something sweeter as she trades drama for dessert on The Great Celebrity Bake Off. Viewers are already bracing themselves for kitchen meltdowns. A source said: "Nella's a Channel 4 favourite and has done loads of digital channel. She is a big personality with a huge younger following and bosses are keen to tap into that. "She proved she could be box office when she was on I'm A Celeb, but Bake Off chiefs think she'll be able to show a different side to her personality in the tent and will be a lot of fun." Singers Rag'n'Bone Man and JoJo Siwa are also signing up to take part. Strictly contestant Vicky Pattison has also joined the line-up, along with Molly-Mae Hague, Mark Wright, Edith Bowman, Jon Richardson and One Day actress Ambika Mod. I'm A Celeb star looks completely different as she shows off incredible weight loss and denies using fat jabs NELLA'S I'M A CELEB JOURNEY Nella caused a stir in the jungle during her time on I'm A Celeb in 2023. Viewers were left divided as the YouTube star didn't hold back, delivering fiery one-liners and emotional outbursts that made her one of the most talked-about contestants of the season. She famously clashed with her campmates, including Fred Sirieix, just days into the series. Fred made a remark which seemingly offended Nella about his age, in which he told the social media star: 'I am old enough to be your dad." Fred quickly apologised and Nella accepted, with a condition. Nella told Fred in the show: "I accept your apology, but let's not be friends." She later told hosts Ant and Dec she didn't think Fred considered the emotional weight of his remark. Despite the drama, she built a strong fanbase and proved she wasn't afraid to speak her mind. NELLA'S NEW GIG Nella landed a gig as the co-host of the Channel 4.0 show Boss Pitches. She co-hosted a six-part series with fellow internet personality, GK Barry, 24. The new series includes celeb guests who will be lending their time, experience and credentials to the budding entrepreneurs who are seeking their assistance in starting up their new businesses. Celebrity guests include businesswoman and YouTuber Patricia Bright, 37, Konan, 34, from UK rap duo Krept and Konan, and podcasters James Duncan and Fuhad Dawodu of Shxts N Gigs. Hannah Wesson, executive producer at BBC Studios Entertainment, said: "Nella Rose and GK Barry are the perfect duo to 'boss it' in the boardroom and we can't wait for viewers to watch the show." 5 5 5

GK Barry reveals reason I'm A Celeb cast no longer speak seven months after show – and Maura and Danny's drunken kiss
I'M A Celeb star GK Barry has split the tea on her relationship with her former campmates - and who she's still in contact with. Speaking on The Katie Price podcast, the GK told the former glamour model how the group has disintegrated - just seven months after forming a jungle bond. 5 5 TV star Katie inquired if she still communicated with her 2024 camp buddies. The 47-year-old asked: 'Have you kept in contact, because this is another thing, when I've done Big Brother and all of that, you're like, Yeah, I'll stay in contact... "But you know the ones you'll stay in contact with and some you just know… in the beginning you text and then…' GK admitted: 'We had a group chat. It has died down slightly as you can imagine, it's died down." She added: 'But I still keep in contact with the Rev [ Richard Coles] - and Dean [McCullough] I still keep in contact with a little bit, but mainly the Rev and Melvin [Odoom]." The 25-year-old concluded: 'I keep in contact with Melvin quite a lot.' The internet personality entered the I'm A Celeb Jungle last year and quickly became a fan favourite and ended up placing fifth. Following her TV stint she went on to make multiple appearances on daytime TV show Loose Women. Back in April, the group was still active and radio star Dean lifted the lid on what went on in the cast's infamous WhatsApp thread. Before the group fell apart, he said: "No, no one's left. Everyone's in it. Everyone's chatting away. "I just love it because you'll just wake up one morning, and there'll just be a picture of Coleen [Rooney] on the school run with the kids, or Richard the other day sent us a picture of him at 10 o'clock in the morning in full fancy dress. "He was dressed as a nun. Everyone's in it, of course, and excited to meet up again." While love is in bloom for GK and her footballer girlfriend Ella Rutherford, McFly star Danny 's marriage to his wife Georgia has been rocked since appearing on the show. Singer Danny, 39, has been trying to move on from the fall out from his "drunken kiss" with Maura Higgins, 34, at the Brit Awards. The pair starred alongside GK in the 2024 series of I'm A Celeb. Wife and podcaster Georgia - who briefly moved out of the family home following the kiss scandal - was reportedly "furious" at the way the Star Girl singer had handled the aftermath of the scandal. A few of the campmates are set to be working together soon, which could make things very awkward for Maura and Danny. Georgia broke her silence on social media after three months on from the kiss and posted her first photo of her husband in a Father's Day tribute. 5 5 5

Gogglebox star looks completely unrecognisable in rare snap as she reunites with her famous sister - almost a decade after appearing together on the Channel 4 show
Former Gogglebox star Ava-Grace Moffatt looked unrecognisable as she reunited with famous sister Scarlett on Thursday. The reality star, 18, who rose to fame as a youngster and is now in University, cut a trendy figure in the rare snap with her sibling, 34, almost a decade after they appeared together on the Channel 4 show. Ava cut a trendy figure in a Guns N' Roses T-shirt which she teamed with a hoodie and headscarf while posing with Scartlett at a train station. The former I'm A Celeb star beamed while shelling her eyes behind huge shades and captioned the snap: 'Sister Day'. The Moffatt family joined Gogglebox in 2014 during the third series, with Scarlett quickly becoming a fan favourite for her outspoken personality. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Initially appearing with just her parents, Mark and Betty, Scarlett was later joined by Ava from series seven, before they all exited in 2016. Following the family's stint on Gogglebox Ava and the family joined Scarlett in Australia when she hosted the I'm A Celeb spin-off after winning the main show in 2016. In 2019 the family also appeared in The Tribe Next Door Channel Four documentary that saw them live alongside the Himba community in a Namibian tribal village, in an exact replica of their parents Newcastle home. But the experiment hit the headlines and branded 'twisted' and 'harmful' by activist charity, while angry fans said the show 'screams privilege'. It comes just days after it was revealed Scarlett was reportledy in talks to join the All Stars version of I'm A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here! She was crowned Queen of the Jungle back in 2016, so her appearance on All Stars would mark her tenth anniversary of winning the show. Filming is set to start in South Africa later this year with a source telling The Sun: 'Scarlett won I'm A Celeb in 2016 and was hugely popular with viewers, so everyone's really excited she might be returning for the new All Stars series. 'She is so game for a laugh and knows what to expect in terms of the Bushtucker Trials, so she'll throw herself into every task. 'Scarlett is a mum now and she wants to do it to show her little boy how brave she can be.' MailOnline have contacted Scarlett's representatives and ITV for comment. It was revealed in February that Ant and Dec would be returning to host another All Stars series. A source close to the production revealed: 'It did well last time and while they can't do it annually, they wanted to do another.' The first series featured a star-studded lineup of former contestants, including boxing champion Amir Khan, Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan, TV presenter Carol Vorderman and Olympic athlete Fatima Whitbread. Series six runner-up Myleene Klass was crowned the winner after defeating series 16 campmate Jordan Banjo in the final survival trial. A spin-off of the original I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, the special is filmed in Kruger National Park, South Africa, where celebrities take on various challenges in a basic, luxury-free camp. Unlike the original format, however, the all-star series does not allow viewers to vote for contestants to face Bushtucker Trials. Instead, the campmates battle it out for the title of 'Legend,' departing from the traditional crowning of a Jungle King or Queen. The I'm A Celebrity… South Africa special garnered strong viewership, with an average of 5.5 million viewers tuning in per episode.
