Debate between Iman Shumpert and
Karl Anthony Towns
heats up
NBA star Iman Shumpert began the discussion when he shared a post by DH12 Above the Rim, where he said how Illinois has been better at creating more NBA stars than New Jersey. He said, 'We ain't even made it to the bigs. Cuz I got Ticket, Curry, AD.' With his bold statement, the post got the attention of famous stars like Dwyane Wade and Dwight Howard.
Meanwhile, NBA star Karl-Anthony Towns feels otherwise. He said, 'I'm always gonna go with my city… Of course I'm gonna go with Jersey all day, every day. Like I said, with my own two eyes, I seen people who cook.'
This friendly debate turned a little different after Dwyane Wade also offered his support to Iman Shumpert, since he also belongs to Illinois, along with top NBA stars like Derrick Rose and Kevin Garnett. But then, New Jersey too has bigger names, like that of Shaquille O'Neal, Karl Anthony Towns.
