Taiz (Saba) - The Office of the General Authority for Antiquities and Museums in Taiz Governorate condemned in the strongest terms the burning of the "Al-Arif Billah" mosque by members of the Islah Party. The Office of the General Authority for Antiquities and Museums in Taiz considered, in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the burning of mosques a crime that contradicts religious and moral values and human customs and norms that criminalize the targeting of Islamic sanctities. Antiquities authority condemns burning of historic mosque in Taiz
Sana'a - Saba: The General Authority for Antiquities and Museums on Wednesday strongly condemned the burning of the historic "Al-Arif Billah" Mosque in Jabal Habashi district in Taiz province. The Authority accused elements of the Islah Party of perpetrating the act of arson, which destroyed the 600-year-old mosque located in al-Ghadf village. The Authority denounced the burning of the mosque, a significant cultural and religious landmark, as a criminal act that contradicts religious and moral values. Taiz endowment office condemns burning mosque in Jabal Habashi
Taiz - Saba: The office of the General Authority for Endowments in Taiz Governorate condemned the burning of the historic mosque of Al-Arif Billah Ahmed bin Abdullah al-Hadrami in the village of Al-Armah in Jabal Habashi District by members of the Islah Party. The office indicated in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) a copy of it, that these elements committed their crime after citizens celebrated the night of the middle of Shaaban in the mosque, which is considered a symbol of cultural and religious heritage. It stressed that the burning of the historic mosque is not just the destruction of a building, but a criminal act that does not only represent an attack on places of worship, but aims to sow discord and spread fear and hatred among members of society. The statement called on human rights and religious organizations and citizens to confront this heinous crime, work to rebuild what was destroyed, and hold accountable the perpetrators and supporters of these terrorist groups whose only goal is to destroy civilization and spread chaos.
