Hamas Welcomes Decision by 'The Hague Group for Palestine Support' to Impose Sanctions on Zionist Entity
Doha – SABA The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) on Saturday welcomed the decision issued by the Hague Group for Palestine Support in Bogotá, Colombia, which included sanctions against the Zionist entity. The measures involve halting arms and ammunition supplies to Israel, reviewing existing agreements, and facilitating international investigations into crimes committed in the Gaza Strip. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Hamas described the decision as a genuine expression of the free global conscience that rejects the war crimes and brutal violations committed by the fascist Zionist regime against the Palestinian people—particularly in Gaza, where the humanitarian catastrophe has reached its peak due to massacres, starvation, and the denial of basic necessities for survival. Hamas called on all nations to urgently mobilize to form the broadest possible international front to isolate the Zionist regime, expose its crimes, and impose additional punitive measures that would help end its aggression against innocent civilians and halt the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Hamas Calls for Global Mobilization on Sunday to Save Palestinian People in Gaza
Gaza - Saba: The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) called on the nation and freedom-loving people worldwide to launch a global movement to save the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip from death by bombing, hunger, and thirst. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA) on Saturday, Hamas declared: 'Let tomorrow, Sunday, and the coming days be a loud outcry of anger against the Zionist occupation and the systematic starvation in Gaza.' The statement added: 'In the face of the genocidal crime and starvation being perpetrated by the fascist enemy government and its Zionist army against our people in Gaza, and the escalation of their blatant violations of all humanitarian norms and divine laws, in a barbaric aggression unprecedented in history, amid international silence, paralysis, and failure to stop the aggression and end the crime of genocide and starvation, we in Hamas renew our call to the masses of our Arab and Islamic nation and to freedom-loving people worldwide for a global movement encompassing massive popular marches and solidarity activities, raising voices loudly and exerting all political, diplomatic, parliamentary, labor, and student pressures in solidarity with Gaza, supporting their steadfastness, and opposing the crime of genocide and starvation until the brutal aggression ceases and the unjust siege ends.' The statement continued: 'Let Sunday, July 20, and the coming days be historic global days and an international solidarity movement involving all forces and freedom lovers worldwide, exposing and condemning the Zionist crimes of genocide and starvation against innocent civilians in Gaza, including children, women, and the sick.' Hamas urged the pooling of efforts across the Arab, Islamic, and international arenas to form a unified voice in solidarity with Gaza and against the war of genocide and starvation imposed on more than two million Palestinians, to participate in stopping the genocide, starvation, and aggression against Gaza, and to put an end to the blatant disregard by the criminal Netanyahu and his fascist gang for international humanitarian law, treaties, and human norms. Hamas to Arab World: Break Gaza Siege, End the Silence
DaysofPal – The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) issued a severe warning on Thursday that famine in Gaza has reached 'dangerous levels,' calling for urgent international and regional intervention to break the Israeli siege and allow humanitarian aid into the Strip. The group accused Israel of using hunger as a weapon of war in its 22-month-long assault, which has devastated the civilian population and crippled essential infrastructure. In a statement published on Telegram, Hamas condemned the international community's 'shameful silence,' saying it amounted to complicity in a war that has pushed over two million Palestinians into starvation, displacement, and death. 'The famine in the Gaza Strip has reached dangerous levels,' the statement read, urging Arab and Islamic nations to 'take urgent action to break the siege and allow aid to enter.' Hamas also called on the United Nations to fulfill its responsibilities and end what it called 'a vicious cycle of killing, extermination, and starvation.' The group said Israel's deliberate use of hunger and denial of basic necessities constitutes one of 'the most heinous crimes in modern times,' particularly against children. Human rights organizations have consistently warned that Israel's continued obstruction of aid and systematic targeting of civilians may amount to war crimes. The situation on the ground confirms those fears. On Saturday, the Gaza Government Media Office warned that more than 650,000 children under the age of five are at risk of starvation due to the ongoing blockade, now entering its second year. International voices echoed the alarm. At a UN Security Council session on Wednesday, Tom Fletcher, Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, gave a grim account of conditions in Gaza. 'We cannot describe the situation in Gaza with words,' he said. 'Food is running out; those who ask for it risk being shot, people are dying trying to feed their families, and field hospitals are receiving bodies.' Fletcher emphasized that humanitarian needs must be met without endangering the lives of those seeking aid. 'Civilians are facing death, injury, forced displacement, and deprivation of dignity,' he warned. Volker Türk, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights' spokesperson, added to the sobering picture on Tuesday by stating that at least 875 Palestinians have been killed while attempting to obtain food, with 674 of those deaths occurring close to humanitarian aid centers.
