Israeli Settler Attacks Escalate in WB, Aqsa Mosque

DaysofPal- The Israeli occupation forces and Israeli settlers continued their violations against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem on Tuesday, storming Al-Aqsa Mosque, raiding several Palestinian villages, and establishing a new settlement outpost north of Ramallah. In occupied Jerusalem, dozens of settlers invaded the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the morning through the Moroccan Gate, under heavy protection from Israeli police. According to the Islamic Waqf Department, settlers roamed the mosque's courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals and prayers, while Israeli police tightened restrictions on Palestinian worshippers entering the mosque, checking their IDs and holding some of them at the outer gates. Jerusalemite activists renewed calls to intensify visits and stay-ins at Al-Aqsa Mosque to confront attempts by the Israeli occupation and its settlers to impose Judaization measures and alter its existing religious and historical status. In the West Bank, Israeli forces raided the village of Baqat Al-Hatab east of Qalqilya at dawn, entering from its main entrance, spreading through the western neighborhood and Al-Bayader area, and searching several homes, including one belonging to the Abdel Ghani family. Moreover, several military vehicles also stormed the nearby village of Hajjah, patrolling its streets and residential areas before withdrawing without reported arrests. In Ramallah, settlers established a new outpost in Khirbet Tarafeen in the village of Atara, north of the city, on confiscated Palestinian land. Hassan Mleihat, general supervisor of the Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouins and Targeted Villages, said the move aims to reinforce settlement expansion and entrench Israeli control over Palestinian land, in clear violation of international law and UN resolutions that deem settlements illegal. Mleihat added that the departure of the last remaining families of the Arab Jahalin community west of Ramallah came after a series of violent attacks by settlers on residents and their property. He noted that the Bedouin community had lived in the area for more than 40 years despite harsh conditions but were ultimately forced into displacement by the occupation and settlers under the threat of ongoing violence. Ben-Gvir leads colonists in provocative incursion into Al-Aqsa Mosque

Israel's far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir led a provocative incursion of colonists into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Jerusalem on Sunday morning, accompanied by Likud Knesset member Amit Halevi. According to the Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem, at least 1,251 colonists stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque during the morning hours. The colonists performed rituals, including prayers, dances, and loud chants that echoed across the compound. Earlier, just after midnight, Ben-Gvir also led a march of colonists through the Old City, marking what extremist Jewish groups refer to as the 'anniversary of the destruction of the Temple.' These groups had issued public calls for mass incursions by colonists into the Al-Aqsa compound on Sunday, aiming to commemorate the so-called anniversary of the destruction of the Temple. This escalation follows a wave of incitement and recent policy changes, including Ben-Gvir's controversial orders to police permitting colonists to sing and dance within the mosque compound — a step widely viewed as part of a broader strategy to impose new realities by force. In May, Ben-Gvir publicly declared that Jewish 'prayer and prostration are now possible on the Temple Mount,' in direct violation of the historic status quo upheld at the holy site. WAFA

Dozens of Extremist Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa Under Israeli Police Protection - Jordan News

Dozens of Extremist Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa Under Israeli Police Protection Dozens of extremist Jewish settlers stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound (Al-Haram Al-Sharif) in occupied Jerusalem on Sunday morning, entering through the Moroccan Gate under heavy protection from Israeli occupation police. اضافة اعلان According to a statement by the Islamic Waqf Department in occupied Jerusalem, the settlers roamed the courtyards of the holy site, received briefings about the so-called "Temple," and performed Talmudic rituals in the eastern part of the compound. Meanwhile, Israeli forces continued to impose tight restrictions on Palestinian worshippers, seizing their ID cards at the mosque's outer gates and obstructing their access. Widespread calls have been issued urging residents of Jerusalem and Palestinians in the occupied interior to mobilize, remain present, and maintain a steadfast presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque. The calls emphasize the importance of mass turnout and performing prayers at the mosque as a practical response to the occupation's ongoing violations, and to resist attempts to isolate the holy site from its religious and popular surroundings. Al-Aqsa Mosque faces near-daily incursions and violations by settlers—except on Fridays and Saturdays—under the protection of Israeli police, in what is widely seen as part of efforts to impose a temporal and spatial division of the mosque. — (Petra)

Dozens of Israeli Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound - Jordan News

Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque—also known as Al-Haram Al-Sharif—in occupied Jerusalem on Monday, under heavy protection from Israeli occupation forces. اضافة اعلان According to a statement by the Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem, the settlers entered the compound from the Moroccan Gate and carried out provocative tours throughout the site. They were also seen performing Talmudic rituals in the eastern part of the mosque compound. The Waqf added that Israeli police imposed further restrictions on Palestinian worshippers, including confiscating their ID cards at the mosque's outer gates. Al-Aqsa Mosque has been subject to daily violations and incursions, except on Fridays and Saturdays. These repeated actions are widely viewed as attempts to assert full Israeli control over the holy site and implement a temporal and spatial division. Such incursions often escalate tensions in Jerusalem and are condemned by Palestinians and many international observers as violations of the sanctity of one of Islam's holiest sites.
