Al Hamriyah's summer prog members visit Sharjah's Central Market
They started their adventure at the Sharjah Central Market, where they marveled at the building's unique design and had fun exploring different shops that showcase both traditional and modern items. As part of a special event named "A Photographic Walk Through Sharjah's Landmarks," the participants took photos to capture the beauty of what they saw. Issa bin Rukn, a board member of Al Hamriyah Club, shared that this visit is a key part of their efforts to help participants learn about the rich culture and heritage of the emirate. The day was full of exciting activities, including a creative workshop called "Masks from the Fantasy World," organized by Al Hamriyah Municipality. Additionally, there was an engaging lecture on "Islamic Ethics" from the Department of Islamic Affairs, along with plenty of fun sports and games, like football and a unique soap stadium.

3rd Al Hamriyah Ramadan Football Tournament Kicks Off
The tournament is organised by Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, as part of its Ramadan activities programme. Eight participating teams Eight teams representing government departments and entities in Al Hamriyah and the region's residents are participating in the tournament, namely, Al Hamriyah (A) and (B), Al Hamriyah Municipality (A) and (B), Sharjah Asset Management and Al Hamriyah Suburb, in addition to Al Nakhal District and Al Hamriyah Youth. The participating teams were divided into two groups, with the top two teams in each group advancing to the semi-finals. Prizes will be awarded to the champion, runner-up, and third-place winners. Fierce competition Mr. Issa bin Rukn, member of the club's board of directors and head of the Cultural and Community Committee, confirmed that the opening day of the tournament saw intense competition between the participating teams, characterised by high sportsmanship, amidst a large crowd. Mr. Issa bin Rukn pointed out that matches will be held daily until March 20, which will witness the tournament's finale, with the winners being crowned with cash prizes totaling approximately AED 20,000.

Al Hamriyah opens registration for 7th "PlayStation" Championship
The registration process for the championship, which the club has been organising to coincide with the holy month of Ramadan, ends on March 4, 2025, noting that it will be held in person, with cash prizes allocated to the winners of up to 5,000 dirhams. In a related context, Mr. Issa bin Rukn, a member of the Board of Directors of Al Hamriyah Club and Chairman of the Cultural and Community Committee, confirmed that the "PlayStation" Championship comes within the initiatives through which the club targets the local community during the holy month. Mr. bin Rukn pointed out that the championship aims to strengthen social ties between participants through a competitive experience amidst a special Ramadan atmosphere.
