Holywell find the target with brilliant Flint post
Holywell Town claimed a notable 2-1 triumph to progress, which spawned a social media post from the club that went viral!
The Wellmen's social media accounts used a picture with Flint keeper Jack Flint's number one jersey to demonstrate the scoreline.
'It was outstanding. I texted the fella when they did it,' said Fowler, preparing for this evening's Cymru Premier opener away to Bala Town.
'I'm not one of those managers that are bitter in defeat. The result is disappointing, but Holywell found a way to see out the game.'
And the main lesson for Fowler? He quipped: 'If we're going to lose, then we have to lose by more than one goal!'
Connah's Quay Nomads will start their top flight season at Colwyn Bay on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Nomads' women will travel to Flint in Adran North action on December 7. The return derby will be played on March 22.
