Kennedy heir Jack Schlossberg cracks incredibly cocky 'joke' about his own handsomeness

John F. Kennedy's grandson Jack Schlossberg made an incredibly cocky declaration in a recent video, claiming that he upsets men when making eye contact with their girlfriends in the street. Schlossberg hopped onto TikTok with a new video advising men walking down the street to look away when accidentally locking eyes with a woman walking with her boyfriend down the street. 'Dating in 2025, couples in 2025, I have something to say,' he began with an example of walking down the street and spotting a heterosexual couple walking toward him. 'Sometimes the female and I will make eye contact,' he said. 'I don't like doing that. I don't like doing that to a guy. I like to look down and I look away.' 'Because I don't like it. I don't want that for that guy and I know that that's gonna p*** him off,' he continued. 'And I know that he's just - he doesn't even care but now he has to care, because why did she look, and what, who, and she's smiling now, why doesn't she smile for me anymore.' 'So I wanna say to all the other guys out there who aren't in relationships to look away, to look away in those scenarios. Look away.' The video stirred the internet as comments weighed in on Schlossberg's commentary as well as on his looks. 'What even is this?? Women in relationships can't look at humans and smile??' one comment asked. 'If I was walking past you with my husband I would smile bc id recognize you and wouldn't want to say anything in the case of bothering you,' another wrote. Some said his advice showed him to be 'respectful' and a 'gentleman,' while others declared he was simply aware of his looks. 'Mister steal your girl over here,' one wrote. Another simply declared Schlossberg a 'humble king.' Schlossberg's latest video comes after JFK's grandson issued an unusual challenge to his cousin Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Schlossberg - who has been a vocal critic of his cousin - took to Instagram in April to once again hit out at the Secretary of Health and Human Services. 'RFK Jr... I have got a challenge for you,' he started. 'Me and you, one-on-one, locked in a room, we hash this out. Nobody comes out until one of us has autism,' he continued. 'What do you say?' The challenge appears to be mocking Kennedy for his recent remarks suggesting 'toxins' or ultrasound scans could be driving a 'tsunami' of autism diagnoses across the US. The country's top health official even suggested industries were profiting off environmental toxins that are causing autism - in an apparent nod to his vaccine skepticism and crusade against artificial food ingredients. Kennedy had called the spontaneous press conference after a CDC report suggested the number of US children with autism rose to one in 31 in 2022, up from one in 36 in 2020 and one in 56 in 2016. But scientists and advocates for people with autism have widely criticized Kennedy's position as harmful and misleading, as mainstream research describes autism as a complex condition largely shaped by genetics. Kennedy, though, dismissed the idea that autism rates are being fueled by genetic factors at his news conference. 'We need to move away from the ideology that the relentless autism prevalence increase is simply an artifact of better recognition and better diagnostic criteria. 'Doctors and therapists in the past weren't stupid. They weren't missing all these cases,' he continued, arguing that 'only a small percentage [of autism cases] can be charged to better recognition or better diagnostic criteria. 'The answer is very clear and this is catastrophic for our country,' Kennedy claimed. But Schlossberg's criticism of his cousin goes beyond the controversial autism statements. He has repeatedly hit out at Kennedy ever since he launched his failed presidential run in 2023, when Schlossberg accused his cousin of 'trading in on Camelot, celebrity, conspiracy theories and conflict for personal gain and fame.' Schlossberg later teed off on his cousin during his Senate confirmation hearing, echoing his mom Caroline Kennedy's brutal critique urging senators to reject his nomination. Caroline called her cousin RFK Jr. a 'predator' who is willfully misinformed about vaccines, and a dangerous liar who has cheated his way through life. Earlier this year, Schlossberg also took to Instagram and his 600,000 followers accusing Kennedy of 'spewing lies' that the CIA was involved in JFK's assassination. 'Why are you scared of me? Why don't you ever respond? Are you busy pouring [sic] over the JFK files? Or is Cheryl just really dry down there?' he taunted his cousin, referring to his wife, actress Cheryl Hines. The following month, Schlossberg appeared to mock Kennedy's spasmodic dysphonia - a neurological disorder that makes it difficult for him to speak, according to the Daily Beast. He deleted his social media afterward, as he received flack for that and for falsely renowned lawyer Alan Dershowitz of killing his own wife.

Viewers left enraged as SNL hints JD Vance KILLED Pope Francis in mocking cold open

Viewers have slammed Saturday Night Live for implying that JD Vance killed Pope Francis because he died shortly after their awkward meeting at the Vatican. Pope Francis died on April 21, just a day after an uncomfortable meeting with Vance as he attempted to mend his rocky relationship with the leader of the Catholic church. The 88-year-old Pontiff and the Vice President had an awkward exchange at the Vatican on Easter Sunday after Francis slammed the Trump administration's treatment of illegal migrants. Pope Francis died the next day of a stroke that put him into a coma and led to heart failure, according to the Vatican. Conspiracy theories quickly spread online that Vance caused the Pope's death, including by JFK's grandson, Jack Schlossberg, who wrote on X: 'Okay JD killed the pope.' SNL echoed those outlandish claims during its cold open. James Austin Johnson parodied Donald Trump in the skit, claiming that if the new Pope Leo does not bend to his knee, he'll stick the VP on him. 'We have an American Pope, Chicago-style, no ketchup. But we like Pope Leo. We hope he does what we want. That's what you want the Pope to do,' Johnson's Trump said. 'Otherwise, I'll have to send JD back to do his thing. Remember the last time JD met the pope? 'He's got the Midas touch, but for bad things. He meets the pope? Dead. Goes to India? War! Joins my campaign? Trump wins!' The sketch doubled down on its attack against Catholicism, likening it to other institutions. 'We love Catholics,' Johnson's Trump said. 'It's one of the stronger Christian organizations, along with Salvation Army, and I want to say Chick-fil-A.' Outraged viewers slammed SNL online, blasting the show for making light of the late Pontiff's death and spreading conspiracy theories. 'SNL's tasteless jab at Pope Francis' death and JD Vance is a new low for comedy,' one person said. 'That is shameful,' said another. 'Disgusting display of no manners,' a third person said. A fourth person said, 'That's a new low—mocking death and spreading nonsense. Proper decency's gone out the window, hasn't it? 'SNL's mocking of the Pope's death is crossing a line, but sadly not surprising given their track record of disrespecting Christianity. Guess they think it's funny to poke at sacred a fifth added. Others pointed to the sketch as a reason they no longer watch the program, claiming SNL is not funny and should be ashamed for making a joke out of someone's death. 'Satire is one thing, BUT this is not satire. It's MOCKERY of the Catholic Church!' one person said. 'SNL was brutally UNfunny about The Pope stuff, and terrible to Judge Jeanine …. Way out of line, and not funny,' a second person added. 'I'm actually embarrassed for SNL at this point, because it's not even that they're unfunny. I think for me it's just more that they come off as increasingly desperate? Don't know, but I really do get cringy vibes from a lot of their skits,'; another said. 'I haven't watched SNL for many years for their disgusting, disgraceful, unfunny displays of what they consider humor! To insinuate that our VP Vance had anything to do with the death of the Pope is shameful. A public apology should be given to him and all Catholics immediately,' a fourth person said.

JFK's legacy lives on in his grandson, Jack Schlossberg – but he's carving his own path

With his chiselled jawline, shock of dark hair and camera-ready smile, there's no doubt about it – he's a Kennedy. As the only grandson of former president John F Kennedy, it was inevitable that Jack Schlossberg would draw a lot of attention – and the fact that he looks so much like JFK's handsome son, John Kennedy Jnr, who died tragically in a plane crash in 1999, only adds to his appeal. And like other members of the famous family, Jack (32), the son of Caroline Kennedy (67) – JFK and Jackie Kennedy Onassis' only surviving child – is blessed with natural charisma and loves being in the spotlight. His Instagram and X accounts have become must-follow destinations for those fascinated by the intersection of American political royalty and millennial outspokenness. One day he's posing shirtless in workout videos, the next he's launching critiques of political figures – including, most controversially, members of his own extended family. Jack has made no secret of the fact he's horrified by the outspoken devotion his mom's cousin, Robert F Kennedy Jnr, bestows on President Donald Trump. The family have always been staunch supporters of the Democratic Party so it was a shock when Robert (71) – the son of Robert F Kennedy who was assassinated in 1968 during his own run for president – threw his weight behind the Republicans when he abandoned his run for the presidency. Since Trump appointed Robert Jnr his secretary of health, Jack has become even more vocal on social media about how disgusted he is by his relative's politics. In a scathing series of posts earlier this year, Jack called him a 'liar' and a 'guru shaman', taking particular issue with Robert's views on abortion, chronic diseases and his belief that childhood vaccines trigger autism. 'My family has always stood for science, for truth, for moving forward,' Jack declared in one heated video. 'Using our name to spread misinformation isn't just wrong – it's a betrayal of everything we've built.' In April he threw down the gauntlet in another video tirade. 'RFK Jnr . . . I have got a challenge for you,' he said. 'Me and you, one-on-one, locked in a room, we hash this out. Nobody comes out until one of us has autism. What do you say?' The feud marks a dramatic departure from the way the family have traditionally handled disagreements. 'The Kennedys were always known for their dignity in public,' says political commentator Eleanor Hayes. 'There was this unspoken code – you might disagree fiercely in private, but you maintained a certain decorum before the cameras. Jack's throwing that playbook out the window.' READ MORE | From zombie slayer to troll fighter: The Last of Us actress Bella Ramsey on fan backlash As a three-year-old Jack endeared himself to millions when he served as ring bearer at JFK Jnr and Carolyn Bessette's 1996 wedding. But other than this, his mom and father Edwin Schlossberg, a museum curator and author, largely kept Jack – whose full name is John Bouvier Kennedy Schlossberg – and his sisters, Rose (36) and Tatiana (35), out of the spotlight. But behind the scenes, Jack, who grew up in New York, was developing a keen interest in politics. In high school he was a committed member of the Young Democrats club and helped canvass for Barack Obama's presidential campaign. When he was in Grade 8 he co-founded ReLight New York, a non-profit organisation that installed energy-efficient lightbulbs in low-income households. After graduating from Yale University in 2015 with a degree in history, he went to Harvard to do a law degree and an MBA. After passing his bar exam, he had a brief stint working as a political correspondent at Vogue magazine ahead of the 2024 US election. 'I am inspired by my family's legacy of public service,' he said at the time. 'I take that very seriously and I want to contribute in my own way. I have big dreams but I also know that I'm trying to make a positive impact today.' Growing up as a bearer of America's most mythologised political surname has shaped Jack's world view in complex ways, insiders say. In interviews he describes his grandfather, who was assassinated in 1963, as his hero. 'The first thing I ever got really nerdy about was him.' But being a Kennedy also presents challenges. 'You grow up with this incredible privilege but also this weight of expectation,' he says. 'Everyone's waiting to see if you'll run for office, if you'll get in trouble, if you'll live up to the legacy or crash and burn.' The comparisons to his uncle JFK Jnr, who served as editor of political magazine George before his death, have followed Jack all his life. Beyond the physical resemblance that's inspired countless side-by-side photo compilations, friends say he shares his uncle's easy charm and humour. 'They both have this quality of being completely comfortable in their own skin,' an insider says. 'John had that magical ability to make everyone feel special when he spoke to them, and Jack has that same gift.' Despite this, Jack, who had a cameo role in the eighth season finale of Blue Bloods in 2018, has been careful not to position himself as his uncle's successor. 'I respect his memory enormously but I'm walking my own path.' That path has increasingly involved forays into television and digital media. In August 2024 Jack delivered a widely praised speech at the Democratic National Convention and he recently announced plans to launch a live news programme. Meanwhile, he continues to stir up controversy with his social media posts. 'The internet is a place where it's difficult to break through,' he says. 'Especially if you're not saying something that's controversial. I use my judgement to make posts that I think are funny or silly but have a purpose.' One subject he does shy away from is his love life. For several years he was involved with fitness influencer Krissy Jones but kept their relationship under the radar. They broke up last year and there hasn't been any sign of anyone new in his life. Meanwhile he seems determined to rewrite the rules, whether that means a future in politics or media. And one thing seems certain – he won't be doing it quietly.

Kennedy's grandson, Jack Schlossberg, is calling for a boycott of the 2025 Met Gala, criticizing Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and the event's growing emphasis on celebrity over substance. Schlossberg, a Harvard-educated attorney who has written for Vogue, took aim at the annual benefit gala in a series of social media posts. "I love to party, and I've been to the Met Gala before. I had a great time," The 31-year-old said in a video on Instagram on April 24. "But this year, with so much happening around the world and at home, I cannot in good conscience go to the Met Gala." Newsweek reached out to the Met Gala press contact seeking comment. When Is the 2025 Met Gala? The 2025 Met Gala is scheduled to take place on Monday, May 5, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Traditionally held on the first Monday in May, the annual event serves as a fundraiser for the Met's Costume Institute and marks the grand opening of its annual fashion exhibit. Invitations are typically limited to elite figures in the worlds of fashion and entertainment, and are approved by Anna Wintour, who has overseen the gala since 1995. Tom Williams/CQ Roll Call via AP Images Who Is Jack Schlossberg? Jack Schlossberg is the youngest of three children of artist Edwin Schlossberg and former U.S. Ambassador Caroline Kennedy. He is the grandson of President John F. Kennedy and first lady Jacqueline Kennedy. Schlossberg's politics are left-leaning. He was a member of the Young Democrats club in high school and had canvassed for former President Barack Obama. He has been known to comment on political and social issues via public platforms and has appeared alongside his mother at official functions. He has also worked as a political correspondent for Vogue. Why Did Schlossberg Call for a Met Gala Boycott? In a series of social media posts, Schlossberg said he was boycotting the gala. In one video he shared on Instagram, he directed his statement to the host: "Hey Anna Wintour, I'm sorry but I'm boycotting the Met Gala this year, I can't go in good conscience with so much happening around the world and at home." Schlossberg's criticism centers on what he views as the gala's performative activism and detachment from broader societal concerns. On X, formerly Twitter, he asked Vogue to "focus on issues and use their platform to take a stand." "FASHION IS POLITICAL — So then why is VOGUE SO QUIET ?! VOGUE shouldn't be so scared of my boycott," Schlossberg wrote. What Is the Theme of This Year's Met Gala? The 2025 Met Gala theme is "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion." The exhibit will showcase items with a focus on themes of transformation, preservation, and fashion's role in capturing the ephemeral nature of beauty. Despite Schlossberg's call for a boycott, the Met Gala remains one of the fashion world's most prominent events, attracting massive global attention and raising millions for the Costume Institute. What Happens Next It remains unclear whether Schlossberg's call for a boycott will significantly impact attendance or press coverage of the 2025 Met Gala. The event continues to draw a powerful mix of celebrities, designers, and political figures.
