Major airline reveals new flights from Glasgow Airport

easyJet is launching its first-ever flights and package holidays on two new routes from the city to Antalya in Turkey and Reus in Spain. The services will run up to twice a week and are hoped to provide Glaswegians with an even greater choice of city and beach destinations. (Image: easyJet) Ali Gayward, easyJet's UK country manager, said: 'The launch of our new routes and package holidays from Glasgow to Antalya and Reus marks another exciting expansion of our network from Scotland. 'These destinations offer a rich mix of culture, history, and relaxation, and we are delighted to be able to offer our customers in Scotland more travel options than ever before, offering them more opportunities to discover new destinations and create unforgettable memories this summer.' The first flight to Reus departed on Monday morning and will operate every Monday and Friday throughout the summer. 'easyJet invested in Glasgow last year with the addition of a sixth based aircraft, and the response to demand for additional easyJet services has been phenomenal. 'The airline will offer over 200 weekly departures from Glasgow during the peak of this summer and includes flights to popular destinations in countries including Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Portugal, Spain and Turkey, to name a few. 'The additions of Antalya and Reus will be popular for those looking to escape for summer sun, and we look forward to continuing to work with easyJet to further strengthen their presence and make it even easier to discover Europe from Glasgow." At present, easyJet Holidays has travel dates all the way up to October 2026. For further information, visit easyJet's website HERE.

Since switching to this lipstick, I've never received more compliments

It started with comments on a video I posted on social media about something completely unrelated. Then a mum asked me about it at the school gates. A few days later, a colleague posed the same question, with the same quizzical tilt of the head: 'What is that lipstick you're wearing?' Good question. It's a lipstick I've become so taken with that I've worn it repeatedly over the past month, in the run-up to its official launch last week. Yes, you might not need an eyeshadow palette with 10 different shades of beige, but who doesn't need a new lipstick? It's called Poutder by Vieve, and is worth every penny of the £23 price tag. (I know that's by no means cheap, but I've worn it so much that the cost-per-wear is very low.) If you're not familiar with Vieve, it's founded by a young make-up artist-turned-beauty influencer, Jamie Genevieve, who launched the range in 2020. On first appearance, you might think that the brand is geared towards Gen Z and Gen Alpha – it's very cool and is huge on social media – but the products are thoughtfully designed, innovative to use and, crucially, look fantastic on women of all ages. Vieve's best product yet is the Poutder, in my opinion. As the name suggests, it is a 'soft matte' mousse with finely milled powder particles within, which sounds like a complete disaster but in fact means that any lines are smoothed away and the colour settles in a really soft, diffused fashion. Poutder by Vieve, £23, Space NK It's available in four shades – a fair peach, a light pink, a figgy brown and the one that I've been wearing non-stop, a rich raspberry shade called Ripple. The colour is part of its magic: it's deep enough to suit all skin tones but still supremely wearable and flattering whether you're very pale or have a darker skin tone. It doesn't look high-maintenance, either, which so many of the trendy glosses nowadays do. There's a reason why matte lipsticks have had enduring appeal for decades, and that's because if you're over the age of 35, a soft matte formula will look infinitely more elegant than a very shiny, glossy or glazed lip. Another product I love in the 'throw on with anything' lipstick category is Bisou Balm by French make-up artist-founded brand Violette FR. These lipsticks come in a traditional bullet, if that's more your thing, and have a lighter deposit of colour (although you can apply a couple of coats for a more intense colour). The latest shade, Mon Cheri, is a just-bitten cherry brown that looks, as you'd expect, très chic. Bisou Balm, £30, Violette FR Neither claims to be long-wearing but, having worn both lipsticks on a recent holiday, I can vouch for them being excellent options in the heat. I don't know about you, but the last thing I want in hot weather is a slick of slippery lip gloss, so if I'm wearing a lip colour at all, it will be one of these grown-up matte lipsticks. Pleasingly, there are lots of these elegant, mousse-y matte formulas around, in blush form as well as lipstick. I've been wearing the new Soft Pinch Matte Bouncy Blush by Rare Beauty, which is probably the best piece that I've tried from the make-up brand founded by Selena Gomez. The colours are flattering and smoothing on the skin (the shade Alive is just glorious) and the formula strikes a balance between looking radiant yet not remotely greasy. Soft Pinch Matte Bouncy Blush by Rare Beauty, £26, Space NK When time is of the essence, I've been using the Poutder on my cheeks too, as recommended by Jamie. There's nothing handier for your bag than a multi-purpose product. If you head to you can see a full demo of me using it on my lips and cheeks. I'd love to know if you decided to give it a try. Three other brilliant soft matte products From the brand that launched one of the first dual lip and cheek products comes this soft-matte multitasking blush for the face. I love this velvety whipped cream-to-powder formula, which comes in 12 flattering shades. There's no need for a brush, either: just pat on and go. I love the pinky shade Peony. Pot Rouge Velvet Matte by Bobbi Brown, £32, Bobbi Brown Powder blushers have a bad reputation in general, for looking too drying on the skin, but this powder packs a punch in colour without looking too cakey on the skin. Apply it on the apples of the cheeks for a pretty, long-lasting flush. The shade Mia is a beautiful rose. SuperSuede Radiant Blush Powder by Saie, £22, Cult Beauty Also new this month, these lip and cheek colours are luxurious and highly effective if you're looking to splurge on some new make-up. Available in three shades – a deep nude, a fresh pink and a berry – they give a velvety finish on the cheeks and lips. Colour Cloud, £47, Sisley

I put three new-gen lip mousses to the test – budget option is great for cheap price

Read on to also find out how to get a wellness bundle worth a whopping £197 for just £75 GETTING LIPPY I put three new-gen lip mousses to the test – budget option is great for cheap price I DID not think I'd see the return of matte lipstick this year but it seems a velvet finish is the next big thing. This week, I put three new-gen lip mousses to the test. Advertisement Budget Maybelline Teddy Tint Lipstick, £11.99 for 5ml, 3 Maybelline Teddy Tint Lipstick is a great price to try the trend Credit: Boots The Super Stay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick by Maybelline is the best long-wear lip product I've ever tried, so I had high expectations of this updated matte formula. Given the packaging, I was expecting vibrant colours, but once applied it's definitely true to its name as a tint – so if you want extra oomph, look elsewhere. The formula is more comfortable than the matte ink lipsticks, so my lips didn't become dry or chapped. Advertisement But if you apply too much it ends up feeling sticky and dries patchy, so it takes some care to get it right. For the price, it's a great way to try the trend. Mid-range Vieve Poutder, £23 for 3.8ml, 3 Vieve Poutder gives a sheer tint, or you can build it up for a bold colour Credit: spacenk Advertisement I am willing to put pretty much any product made by Jamie Genevieve - make-up artist, and founder of Vieve - on my face – so if anyone can convince me to wear a matte lip, it's her. This was the first one I tried, and I was immediately impressed. The formula is packed with hyaluronic acid, vitamin E and castor oil which makes it comfortable to wear all day – in stark contrast to the matte liquid lipsticks I wore as a teen. It's not patchy at all, and blends easily even over chapped lips, creating a soft, pillowy finish. 'Lasts better than any lip color,' beauty fans gush about $9 lipstick combo that 'doesn't smudge' & 'stays on forever' One layer gives a sheer tint, or you can build it up for a bold colour, which makes it super flexible. Advertisement It's definitely my favourite of the bunch. Luxury Sisley-Paris Colour Cloud, £47 for 6ml, 3 Sisley-Paris Colour Cloud has a subtle shimmer adds dimension - and you could even use it as blush Credit: spacenk Much to my relief, the mousse feels completely weightless once on. Advertisement Apply it straight from the doe-foot applicator, or use your fingers if you want a more sheer wash of colour. It's extremely pigmented, so I found the latter worked best for me. It stayed put the longest of the three, although it does start to feel quite drying so I had to apply lip balm on top throughout the day. The subtle shimmer adds dimension and makes lips look fuller. You can also use it on cheeks, which almost justifies the cost given you're getting two products in one. Advertisement

After testing pretty much all the primers out there, I can safely say that the one I swear by is Vieve's Skin Nova. Created by beauty mogul Jamie Genevieve, this isn't just any primer. It's a skin-enhancing, glow-boosting powerhouse that elevates my complexion in an instant. Designed to blur imperfections, hydrate, and boost radiance, it's quickly become my go-to for days when my skin needs a lift (read: most of them). Formulated with niacinamide to brighten and smooth, and beta-glucan to calm and hydrate, Skin Nova leaves skin soft and glowing. Light-reflecting pigments create a lit-from-within finish, while the breathable formula grips makeup for flawless wear that lasts. Wear it alone for a natural, dewy glow or layer under your favourite foundation for extra radiance. Buy Now for £31 at space nk From the moment I applied Vieve Skin Nova, I knew this was going to be a staple in my makeup bag. With a lightweight, silky gel-like texture, it glides on effortlessly, leaving behind a subtle glow (no harsh glitter chunks here!) More Trending It doesn't sit on top of the skin like many primers do either, and it feels like it's actually enhancing my skin's natural radiance rather than acting like a mask. The best part? It doesn't leave my skin feeling heavy or greasy, which I am prone to in my T-Zone. Vegan, cruelty-free and fragrance-free, the Vieve Skin Nova primer is a skincare hybrid. Formulated with niacinamide to strengthen the skin barrier plus, beta-glucan and rose water to soothe and comfort skin. So, not only does it make your skin look amazing, but it's also actually working to improve the health of your skin as you wear it. What's not to love?
