Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Star Addresses Fans' Theory About Alex Ahead of Season 2: ‘We Play Into That'
In the world of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, everything is not what it seems — and that's exactly how David Henrie plans to keep it. TVLine recently caught up with the Disney+ revival's star and executive producer, who shared his thoughts on one of the most prevalent fan theories: Could young witch Billie (Janice LeAnn Brown) actually be the daughter of Alex Russo (Selena Gomez)? As for Brown, she said she's excited that Roman (Alkaio Thiele) and Milo (Max Matenko) finally have powers, allowing them to revisit the idea of a family competition from the original Wizards of Waverly Place. According to Brown, 'Season 1 was just a prequel,' and the real fun is about to begin. A premiere date has not yet been announced for Season 2, which is currently in production. The show's 21-episode first season was released on Disney+ between October 2024 and February 2025.
