Caitlyn Jenner's best friend Sophia Hutchins' cause of death aged 29 revealed

After her fatal road crash, Sophia Hutchins' cause of death has been confirmed as 'multiple blunt force injuries'. Hutchins, who was the best friend of Caitlyn Jenner, died in an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) accident on Wednesday, July 2, at the age of 29. A certificate released by the County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner, seen by TMZ, added that the manner of death was an accident. This comes after officers claimed to the Daily Mail that Hutchins was speeding at the time of the crash. She collided with another car on a road near the former Kardashians star's home, causing her to fall into a '350 feet ravine', US outlets reported at the time. 'It looks like she may have been speeding and rear-ended the other car, the other party, and then that caused her to veer to the right and go off the cliff,' Sergeant Eduardo Saucedo told the outlet earlier this month. 'It doesn't seem like she was following them. I think she just she came up on them and then hit the car,' the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department sergeant stated. The two women in the grey Mazda, which Hutchins reportedly tried to manoeuvre around, were uninjured. One was reportedly a real estate agent showing homes in the local area. Sgt. Saucedo added: 'So it looked like she tried to manoeuvre to go around it, but she was going too fast and just ended up clipping the rear end of that Mazda, causing her to veer off and go off the cliff there.' Jenner allegedly came down to the scene, which occurred at 11.30am, a quarter of a mile south of her home on Decker Edison Road. The I Am Cait star, who recently returned from Israel, is 'numb with shock' according to an insider who spoke to 'She is absolutely devastated and can't believe what's happened. Sophia was a big part of her life.' Jenner spent the Fourth of July holiday weekend away from the public eye, only leaving her home for a solo coffee run. She has not given a public statement, beyond telling the Daily Mail she is struggling through 'tough times' surrounding the loss. This isn't the first time Jenner's life has been impacted by a fatal car crash, as she previously rear-ended another car while driving her Cadillac Escalade. In 2015, the I'm A Celebrity star was towing a trailer when traffic ahead of her slowed rapidly, resulting in her hitting a Lexus in a four-car crash. Kimberly Howe, 70, died at the scene but prosecutors for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office did not press charges for vehicular manslaughter. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video At the time, they stated they could not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Jenner's actions were negligent or unreasonable as she had attempted to brake prior to the impact. Jenner and Hutchins met in 2015 through their hairstylist when the former announced her transition and they have been by each others' side ever since. Hutchins, who was the CEO of a now-defunct beauty brand, was just starting her own transition at the time they met and was thought to have been inspired by Jenner. She was hired as the former Olympian's business manager, but their bond was deeper than that, as she appeared in multiple episodes of her E! reality series I Am Cait and became friends with the Jenner family. The pair were rumoured to be romantically involved by both stated this was not the case More Trending 'We have so much in common; we see the world so similarly, and we both are such a good match for each other because we challenge each other,' Hutchins once said of their relationship in an interview with The Hidden Truth with Jim Breslo. 'She challenges me in so many ways, has allowed me to grow in so many ways, and I hope I challenge her to grow, and I think because we share so many of the same passions and views, it's just a great match, a great partnership.' Sophia Hutchins' cause of death revealed after Caitlyn Jenner's pal's horrific accident

Sophia Hutchins died aged 29 earlier this month, with the cause of death of Caitlyn Jenner's friend and manager revealed on her death certificate The cause of death for Sophia Hutchins has been revealed. Caitlyn Jenner's close pal died at the age of 29 earlier this month after a horrific accident in Malibu. ‌ Sophia's ATV plunged 350 feet down a cliff on July 2. It's thought the vehicle she was in had struck a car bumper at the time. Now, with the incident having been ruled as an accident, the cause has been confirmed in her death certificate. ‌ The official document from the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Heart shows Sophia died from "multiple blunt force injuries.". The document was obtained by People two weeks after the accident. ‌ Further reports say the reality TV star's funeral is set to take place on July 24. She will be laid to rest at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Los Angeles. Shortly after the fatality, officials confirmed the incident took place in the early hours of Wednesday, July 2. They confirmed it happened as Hutchins' all-terrain vehicle struck a moving vehicle on a twisting section of road overlooking the Pacific Coast. ‌ Emergency responders are said to have reached the scene swiftly but declared Hutchins deceased upon arrival. Hutchins, also a transgender woman, initially established a connection with Jenner, 75, soon after the Olympic legend publicly revealed her identity in 2015. Hutchins often referred to Jenner as a beacon of hope throughout her own gender transition whilst studying at Pepperdine University. Their strong connection deepened over the years and later became both a personal and working partnership. In 2017, Hutchins relocated to Jenner's £2.8 million Malibu residence. There, she subsequently assumed control of Jenner's professional affairs. This saw her replace Jenner's former spouse Kris Jenner in that capacity. ‌ Following Hutchins' death, Jenner has reportedly been supporting Hutchins' family. It's said Jenner has offered Sophie's mum Amy a place to stay as they grieve the late manager's death. A source recently told TMZ: "Both devastated, Caitlyn and Amy have been leaning on each other for support during this incredibly difficult time." Another source close to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star also claimed to "Caitlyn is numb with shock. She is absolutely devastated and can't believe what's happened. Sophia was a big part of her life." In a candid New York Times piece from 2019 regarding her linkup with Jenner, Hutchins explained: "I saw nobody was managing her, and there were all these people taking massive advantage. And I was saying: 'Caitlyn, if I don't step in here and start managing you, you're going to go broke'."
