After missing the rest of the 2024 season after a neck injury suffered in October, the Browns have now announced that their Pro Bowl linebacker will be placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list and will miss all of the 2025 season. This comes after posting on their socials that Owusu-Koramoah was in the building at the start of offseason activities, giving Browns' fans just a bit of hope that he could return this season. Advertisement In a statement, Browns general manager Andrew Berry said: "Jeremiah has the full support of our team, and we expect him to continue to be a part of the organization even though he will not return to the field this year. We will not make any predictions on Jeremiah's football future at this time, but we do note that he's in good spirits and will continue to take the advice of the world-class medical experts who will continue to guide his progress and recovery." The Browns selected linebacker Carson Schwesinger with the 33rd overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft, and perhaps with the future of Owusu-Koramoah in mind. Neck injury sidelines Browns LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah for 2025 season Tough news for the Cleveland Browns and Pro-Bowler linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah. The linebacker has been placed on reserve/physically unable to perform list (PUP) and will miss the 2025 season. His future in the NFL is in doubt as he tries to battle back from a neck injury suffered in October 2024. Owusu-Koramoah was injured in a collision with Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry on a play in the Oct. 27 game, that saw Cleveland upset the AFC North champions, 29-24. The Butkus Award winning linebacker was taken to a local hospital and kept overnight for observation. Browns general manager Andrew Berry said in a statement, "Jeremiah has the full support of our team, and we expect him to continue to be a part of the organization even though he will not return to the field this year.
