Jessie J issues health update following cancer surgery as she admits having 'hard days'
Jessie J has shared a candid update with fans a month after undergoing breast cancer surgery, as she was flooded with support on social media. Jessie J opened up in a candid admission that "some days are harder than others" as she issued a health update to fans. The news comes one month following her breast cancer operation. The Bang Bang hitmaker received an "early" breast cancer diagnosis and underwent vital surgery last month. The 37-year-old continued to keep her fans in the loop about her health journey on social media. Currently recovering, the mum-of-one turned to Instagram this week to reassure followers she's "feeling good" despite experiencing tougher moments, as reported by the Mirror. Alongside a montage featuring snaps of herself cradling her son Sky, she wrote: "It will be 4 weeks since my breast cancer surgery on Saturday. I am feeling good. Some days are harder than others. "My movement is good, still very sore, but I am getting more like myself every day. Mentally it's all catching up with me. So giving myself a little space to feel it all. It's a [rollercoaster] for sure." The singer revealed her little one and partner had travelled abroad to visit relatives whilst she concentrated on rest and recovery. The Poker Face singer said: "Sky has gone away for 2 weeks with his Dad to his Danish fam, but also so I can rest and do physio. (And re organise the whole house with my Mum and my sister as my body) lol. My adhd and ocd still going strong." She continued: "I'm not allowed to pick Sky up for a few months and that has been a difficult adjustment, I just want to hold him like this and spin around. But in the bigger picture it's a small sacrifice to have my health and to still be here. The day will come I can lift him up for a cuddle. I can't wait for that day. That day is what gets me through these days. These days are weird. I love being your mum Sky. I miss my boys." Fans soon flooded the comments with messages of encouragement, with one follower penning: "you are so strong! ! Sending you so much love," whilst Strictly star Amy Dowden added: "Sending so much love!" "Such immense strength and courage , none of know how strong we are until put to the test , the human spirit is incredible," another fan remarked. Jessie J had posted an adorable video of her son Sky three weeks before, who she shares with basketball star Chanan Colman, performing at the recording studio whilst she beamed with pride. She captioned the moment: "This is so special. This little boy is the brightest light in my whole world." The singer has been keeping followers informed during her challenging health battle, offering an update two weeks after her operation. She had previously revealed how she switched into 'survival mode' after receiving her diagnosis.
