Five places for Wrexham AFC fans to visit out in Sydney
Joe Faux, a summer addition made by the Silkmen - managed by former Reds' player Lee Fowler - is a Sydneysider and he has provided supporters Down Under with his list of five places to visit while in the city.
Wrexham opened their pre-season tour with a match against Melbourne Victory on Saturday and they will next come up against Sydney FC on Tuesday.
Reds' fans in Sydney looking for something to do during the build-up to the game have plenty of things they can do!
Faux said: "I would definitely go to Circular Quay and walk around the opera house and harbour bridge.
"You can do a ferry from there as well under the bridge or around to Manly, which is another nice area in the north shore."
Continuing his tour, Faux said: "I would do the coastal walk from Coogee to Bondi and stop at each beach along there for a swim or to eat or drink, or whatever you feel like."
Stop three on Faux's tour of his home city is somewhere for people to get a sense of Sydney.
"Go to the Queen Victoria Building (QVB) in the middle of the city to shop or walk around and get a sense of the city."
Fans are well covered when it comes to bar and restaurants too.
"Darling Harbour and Barangaroo is also a nice spot. Lot of good bars and restaurants there for a night out and it's a nice walk. They have a zoo and aquarium there as well," added Faux.
Concluding the tips, he added: "Last one is the botanic gardens, right next to the opera house.
"Get great views from the harbour and again, it's a nice park to walk, few little animals and greenery in there as well."
Faux, whose parents are going to the game to support the home club on Tuesday, also played locally for Cefn Druids and Connah's Quay Nomads.
The 28-year-old tricky wide player started out with Bolton Wanderers U23s and he first entered the Welsh system in the summer of 2019.
