ALBAWABA - A man has gone viral after a clip captured him punching three police officers in Fargo. While several social media users falsely claimed that he was an activist partaking in the ongoing Los Angeles protests, the incident occurred in North Dakota.
The police officers tried to detain the man, but they were instead met with several punches to the face, causing visible shock, which further prevented them from pursuing him after he fled the scene. The clip flooded social media and sparked a wide variety of reactions across several platforms.
Several social media users criticized and mocked the police officers for failing to detain the man. A user wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter), "That's just embarrassing, three police officers got beaten by a fat drunk."

According to KVRR, Fargo police successfully arrested 37-year-old Joseph Manitowabi after he was reported for suspicious activity and assaulted three North Dakota officers. The viral clip garnered at least a million views across several platforms.
Manitowabi is facing several charges, including preventing arrest, the assault of three police officers, and the possession of two drugs called "Paraphernalia" and "Methamphetamine." It's reported that Manitowabi doesn't have a permanent address.
