Originally shared by Vogue India, the post read, 'Kareena Kapoor Khan's iconic portrayal of Poo still captivates a generation. She was our Cher Horowitz and Elle Woods, enveloped in unapologetic BDE (big diva energy)." It featured some of her glimpses from the film as she delivered the iconic one-liners like 'Tumhara koi haq nahi banta ki tum itni khoobsurat lago. Not fair," and 'Mere sath prom pe jane ke liye tum sabko teen department me brilliant hona chahiye – good looks, good looks aur good looks." Sharing the post, Karan Johar remarked, 'The OG Gen Z Gurrly." Released in 2001, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham stars Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kajol and Jaya Bachchan in the lead roles. Upon its release, the film struck a chord with the audience's heart and emerged as a blockbuster. Earlier, in an interview with IANS, Kareena Kapoor Khan opened up on playing Poo in K3G where she admitted that it was a difficult role. The actress said, 'There has never been a character on Indian screens where a mainstream actor will be so open and bold. It was way ahead of its time. When we were shooting it 20 years ago, Karan used to tell me that 'This is going to be an iconic character' and I would be like 'Why am I doing this?" She continued, 'Even after 20 years every girl remembers Poo or has some connect. It's just the way she carried herself. She was not a typical heroine. It's a difficult role to play… to have that kind of timing and dialogue rather than putting glycerine and crying. I think even I can't do that timing again if I tried getting back to her." Looking ahead, Kareena Kapoor Khan is set to feature in Daayra alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran.
