Camila Cabello throws shade at Fifth Harmony amid reports of group's reunion without her

Camila Cabello posted a TikTok video on May 29 dancing to the chorus of 'Gnarly,' the debut single from rising girl group KATSEYE. In the video, Cabello can be seen playfully dancinf to the beat in a bathroom, as the caption overhead reads: 'might just be the ex girl group member in me but ive been doing this in my bathroom for the past 3 hours now.' The timing of the post caught attention, as it coincided with news that Fifth Harmony—Cabello's former group—is planning a reunion without her. According to reports, the group is set to reassemble in 2026 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their hit single 'Work From Home' and the album 7/27. Normani, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui are said to be involved in the comeback, which includes plans for a documentary and tour. Cabello, who departed Fifth Harmony in 2016 and gave up rights to the group's name, made no direct mention of the reunion. Still, the caption's reference to being an 'ex girl group member' and her decision to spotlight a new girl group's track on the same day stirred speculation. The reunion is reportedly being managed by Will Bracey, Ally Brooke's husband and COO of the Justin Bieber family office.

KATSEYE's Megan Skiendiel Knows How to Maintain a Hime Cut

Bea Oyster Between KATSEYE member Megan Skiendiel's signature hime cut and Billie Eilish's jellyfish cut, asymmetrical hairstyles are having a moment. And, when Megan swapped her iconic orange hue for a duochrome look that accentuated her short layers, she took the trend to the next level. On April 3, Italian luxury label Fendi revealed its new campaign with KATSEYE, which showcases the brand's signature Baguette and Peekaboo bags. To make the colorful bags pop, the members each wore a simple black tank top, but the matching moment didn't end there. Sophia, Manon, Daniela, Lara, Megan, and Yoonchae all debuted long dark hair with bangs, which was especially exciting as fans were already speculating that the members were hiding new hairstyles for their next comeback. Megan, however, put a twist on the look, and it might just inspire us to head to the salon. She kept her signature hime cut intact, opting to blend it into her bangs for a three-tiered look. Plus, she dyed just the bangs and the short layers a light rose gold hue, giving the look a pop of color and an edgy twist. The money piece trend, where you dye part of your face-framing hair, isn't exactly new — it became big in the early 2020s with stars like Dua Lipa giving it their cosign. However, this dyed bangs money piece iteration takes it to another level. We've seen stars like Paramore's Hayley Williams and Lily Allen try it in the past, and it might just be the twist that reinvigorates the trend and inspires the buzzy look of 2025. (After all, the 2010s are coming back!) Just like the group's hit song 'Gnarly,' you might not quite get these uneven styles at first glance. But step mullets, tiered layers, jellyfish cuts, and the hime cut have been steadily gaining popularity over the past few years. And with these celebs not only wearing them but doubling down on them, it seems like they're not going anywhere anytime soon. So, if you're feeling tempted to give the hime cut a try, we've got you covered. Here's everything you need to know about the hime cut. A hime cut is a long hairstyle that features short face-framing layers and oftentimes bangs. Unlike a jellyfish cut, which has short layers that go all around the head, the hime cut only has short layers in the front. The hime cut's popularity comes from Japan. With idols, influencers, and even anime characters wearing the look, it has spread worldwide, gaining momentum around the world. In KATSEYE's Teen Vogue cover interview, Megan recapped the process behind keeping her hime cut intact. 'I always have to get my hair — my bangs and the hime — cut, always making sure that it's blunt. I always have to cut it to make sure it's even.' Now that she has added color to it, ensuring it's healthy requires a few additional steps. 'I try not to wash it every single day so it doesn't get super, super dry,' she says. 'And I use a lot of oil and hair masks. And then especially with this new pink, since it's not super pigmented, I always have to dye it every single time I shower. Every time I shower, I need to dye it for an hour and then shower. So it's a lot, but it's fun. It's really cool.' There are multiple ways to style a hime cut. You can opt for super sleek chic and go for totally straight hair. Or, add a little bump to the end for a dynamic take like Megan's. Opt for some waves or curls to add some extra flair to the look. If you want your hime cut to pop, consider adding some color to the money pieces like Megan's as well. Read more about Megan and KATSEYE's personal style in their cover story . KATSEYE's Yoonchae Jeung Breaks Down Her Viral Blush Technique

Bea Oyster As a member of KATSEYE, Yoonchae Jeung represents South Korea abroad in the global girl group created by K-pop label HYBE and Geffen Records. So, it's no surprise that she's also bringing K-beauty trends stateside. Cue: Yoonchae's favorite blush trend. Across music videos and stage performances, Yoonchae is often seen sporting a flush of bright blush. The members even call it her signature beauty look in their Teen Vogue cover story. Yoonchae tells us she was inspired to adopt the look as her own after she noticed it began to trend in Korea. The key to Yoonchae's trending blush routine is focusing on the area directly underneath the eye and blending it out softly without going too far away from the center. The shade of blush is also key. When Yoonchae travels back to Korea, she says she stocks up on blushes because the colors there are different from the ones typically found in the United States. (Pro tip: She opts for pinks, especially fruit-inspired hues.) Now a global trend, the under-eye blush placement has become popular for the effect that it can have on your makeup. On her TikTok, makeup artist Judy Lim explains, 'For a more youthful appearance, actually apply your blush close to the underside of your eye and center of your face.' Lim adds that we lose volume in these areas of our faces as we grow older. Extending blush beyond the cheekbone and all the way to the hairline also gives a lifted, snatched effect similar to straight eyebrows. Lim also points out that the face loses its natural color with foundation, so adding a healthy dose of blush can actually make the makeup look softer. And, the fruit-like shades also lend themselves to buzzy, youthful trends like strawberry makeup. Such a look fits Yoonchae, who is the youngest member of KATSEYE. Now 17, she shares that she began learning how to do makeup at age 12 when she was a trainee and beginning evaluations. Much of her inspiration came from her older sister as well as Pinterest and YouTube. She still, however, enjoys learning and trying new things when it comes to beauty, makeup, and performance. KATSEYE's Lara Raj Explains Why She Unapologetically Wears Her Bindi

Bea Oyster In Teen Vogue's May/June 2025 cover story, KATSEYE member Lara Raj opens up about the inspirations behind her style and how she uses it to represent her Indian culture. Among the many aspects of her typical beauty routine, one of the things most noted by fans, known as EYEKONS, is her bindi. Ever since she debuted on the competition series Dream Academy to earn her spot in HYBE and Universal Music Group subsidiary Geffen's collaborative global girl group, Lara has been known to wear a bindi with many of her looks, regardless of her makeup or outfit for the day. The bindi is a cultural staple for many South Asians, representing core Hindu beliefs and highlighting moments of bonding between friends and family. Such is relatable for Lara, who tells Teen Vogue that her love for fashion and beauty was ignited by her family, especially her mother. 'My mom loves to wear her traditional wedding jewelry with American clothes, which I always thought was so cool growing up,' she says. While the fusion of her shared Easter and Western cultures was inspired by her mother, Lara's dedication to wearing these blended looks on stage also comes from facing stereotypes in her childhood and how she could change things for the next generation. She explains, 'I really wanted to make something like the Ohm necklace or the bindi into a fashion statement and something that people could see as, 'Whoa, that's so sick!' and, 'That's so fire!' And other brown girls, they want to wear it too, as a thing. It's not something to get made fun of for. Because I always got made fun of for it, I really want to change that.' Since these are part of her signature style, they're likely to stay, even while she experiments with new trends. 'I'm trying to be a little bit more chic recently,' she says in our interview. 'Chic is so not my thing. I love sleek clothing, and I like black. I like glamour. And Diesel, Balenciaga, those are my favorite brands in the world. But I'm trying to get more into Miu Miu, Chanel. I even bought Tabis a couple weeks ago and I'm trying to experiment with that.' 'I feel like it feels a little uncomfortable on me because it's so posh in a way, which is so the opposite of my style,' she adds. 'But I don't want to be boxed anymore. I feel like I have a style and that's my thing, and it's always black or chrome or something like that, and I want to expand and be a little bit more fashionable.' KATSEYE's Daniela Avanzini Reveals How She Does Her Signature TikTok Viral Eyeliner

Bea Oyster Just like Manon inspired TikTok users to try a new eyebrow shape and Sophia sent fans on a goose chase to find her lip gloss, Daniela Avanzini is the latest KATSEYE member to be causing a stir in the beauty world. Between all the buzz about their hit song 'Gnarly,' KATSEYE fans, nicknamed EYEKONS, found themselves enchanted by Daniela's eyeliner, perhaps because of her close-up in the performance choreography. Our TikTok 'For You' pages are filled with people hoping it will become the next big trend. Luckily, we caught up with Daniela on the set of our Teen Vogue cover shoot and talked all about her eyeliner routine, so we have all the deets you need to know about the look to recreate it at home. 'I'll take a thick black pencil liner, and I'll go in my waterline under and sometimes I'll go on top inside, not on the outside,' Daniela tells Teen Vogue. 'I'll go literally in my eye all black, and then I'll do a small thin wing on the outside, diagonally up. And then the most important part, the inner corner.' The small downward point — the key is to go downward, not straight out, she emphasizes — in the inner corner is essential to the look. 'I feel like it also gives me that siren eye, which I absolutely love,' she says, referring to the TikTok trend that inspired her. 'I love, love, love my eyes to look like this, because it's so sexy and fierce and c*nty.' In KATSEYE's cover story, Daniela Avanzini also notes how she was inspired by the way her mother used to do her makeup for her ballroom dance performances. She reveals that she hated it at the time, but she grew up to realize that the heavier makeup made all the difference when she performs on the stage.
