Fotheringham determined to kick on after frustrating season
Kai Fotheringham is determined to reclaim a Dundee United starting spot in what has been a "stop-start" season for the young 21, was a mainstay in the team that won the Championship, but has made just five league starts this term for a Tangerines side that have shone on their top-flight return."It has been a really stop start season for me personally," Fotheringham said. "I came off a really good season in the Championship last year and I wanted to kick on this year."I have had a few chats with the gaffer, just trying to get myself back to where I was last year and kicking on in the Premiership."We brought in a lot of new signings in the summer who have boosted the squad."It does keep me out of the squad sometimes but that is football and I need to try and train better, train harder and get back in the team."I know what I can do, it is just about proving that every single day in training and when I get the chance in a game, taking it."
