Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry reveals why she is suffering from 'mom guilt' after son Rio's misdiagnosed lump
Kailyn Lowry is suffering from 'mom guilt' after a misdiagnosed lump on her son's belly has now resulted in potential surgery plans. On the latest episode of her podcast, Coffee Convos, the Teen Mom alum, 33, revealed she discovered what she initially believed to be 'a little hernia' on her two-year-old son Rio's torso. A doctor examined the bump last year and assured her it would 'resolve itself' - however the lump remained and has only grown worse. Rio underwent an ultrasound which determined neoplasia - a tumor - could not be ruled out. Now, a 'freaked' out Lowry is taking action to correct the issue - and is using her own experience to warn others about the importance of making health a top priority. 'He developed what I thought was like a little hernia above his bellybutton,' the mom of seven - who shares son Rio with ex-fiance Elijah Scott - began. 'And I thought it was from the ISR swim lessons because he has to roll over and float on his back, and so I thought the stress of that created this like little lump that looked like a hernia.' 'So last year I took him to the doctor and they were like, "Oh, you know, it's fine, it'll resolve itself, it's not a big deal. Send him on his way, we'll figure it out." Cool, no problem. 'This year, over the last couple weeks, I've noticed this protruding out of his abdomen,' she said. She sent her co-host a photo of the lump and noted it 'sort of looks discolored a little bit' if zoomed in. 'So, I text Elijah and I'm like, "Hey, I've got to call the pediatrician and get him in for this 'cause like at this point... it is worse than it was last year.' 'So we go to the pediatrician, and the pediatrician is like, "This is not a hernia, I'm going to get you in for ultrasound ASAP." Or I think she said stat.' 'Then the ultrasound came back and they're like, "This is definitely not a hernia,"' she added. 'To this day, right now as I'm telling you this, no one has read me the results... So on the like chart thing that I logged into, it says "Reniform nodule in the area of interest consistent with lymph node. The differential include granuloma or complex cyst. Neoplasia cannot be excluded"... And neoplasia is a tumor. So that cannot be excluded. And obviously as a mom, the first thing that my stomach sunk, and I was like, "What the f**k? What do you mean it cannot be excluded?" According to the Los Angeles Public Health Department, 'Neoplasia (nee-oh-PLAY-zhuh) is the uncontrolled, abnormal growth of cells or tissues in the body, and the abnormal growth itself is called a neoplasm (nee-oh-PLAZ-m) or tumor. It can be benign (bee-NINE) or malignant. 'Benign neoplasms do not grow aggressively, do not invade the surrounding body tissues, and do not spread throughout the body. 'Malignant neoplasms, on the other hand, tend to grow rapidly, invade the tissues around them, and spread, or metastasize (me-TAS-ta-size), to other parts of the body. 'The word 'tumor' or 'mass' is often used to describe the actual swelling or other physical appearance of a neoplasm. The word 'cancer' is often confused with neoplasia, but only malignant neoplasms are truly cancers.' The results led to Lowry seeking advice from her aunt, a pathologist, who suggested have the entire lump removed during a potential biopsy. 'And then it said, "options are clinical follow-up or tissue diagnosis." Which I think a tissue diagnosis would be a biopsy, which is fine,' she said. 'My aunt is a pathologist in Pennsylvania, I texted it to her, and she told me... "If they're going to sedate him to do a biopsy, have them just remove the whole thing." So that's what we're going to do... I actually have to call general surgery to make an appointment with them, to have them look at it. 'I say all this to say, when it comes to your health, check everything out, because I really thought it was a hernia this whole time.' 'They told me it was going to resolve itself, I didn't ask for a second opinion... And if you have access to medical treatment or care, like go check it out, because now I'm like, mom guilt, and then also just like the fact that neoplasia cannot be ruled out just freaked me out.' Lowry shared a photo of her son appearing to undergo the ultrasound to her Instagram account on Monday. The photo showed Rio sitting on his mother's lap as the technician processed the procedure.

Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry SPLITS from fiancé amid 'unique' challenges co-parenting with four baby daddies
Kailyn Lowry revealed she has split from her fiancé Elijah Scott less than a year after announcing their engagement to the world. While reflecting on the challenges of co-parenting with four baby daddies, the 33-year-old Teen Mom alum appeared to confirm her newly single status. During her interview with Lala Kent on her Give Them Lala podcast last week, the mom-of-seven explained she takes 'a lot of' heat for leaving her 'kids' dads.' 'I left all of them because I, to some degree, take no s**t,' she said. 'There are a lot of unique circumstances in our family because I do have four fathers to my children. I'm neighbors with one of them.' The revelation about her broken engagement came after Kent asked which father Lowry lived near. 'Elijah,' she responded, seemingly indicating that they were living separately. The Daily Mail has reached out to Lowry's rep for comment, but has not heard back at this time. The former couple welcomed fraternal twins Verse and Valley in late 2023 and share a two-year-old son, named Rio. Additionally, she shares her first child, son Elliott, with her high school sweetheart, Jo Rivera, her son, Lincoln, with ex-husband Javi Marroquin, as well as two more sons, Lux and Creed, with ex Chris Lopez. Last August, Lowry confirmed Scott popped the question after being asked about the diamond ring on her left finger while appearing on her Coffee Convos Podcast. After her cohost Lindsie Chrisley asked if she had tied the knot or not, the reality star explained she was 'not married.' 'This is the ring that they give you before you get married,' she said. Lowry went on to reveal that Scott had asked her to get hitched before, but she didn't take the proposals 'seriously' since they were not accompanied by a ring. 'I was just like, "We'll play this by ear - I'll let you know, if you have a ring one day, we'll reevaluate" - and then one day he just showed up with a ring,' Lowry said. The TV personality also revealed that the proposal caught her off guard as he asked while she was in the bathroom getting ready to go out. Lowry said that Scott didn't drop to one knee when popping the question to her: 'We've both been married already, so we both don't care about the whole "get on one knee and make it all romantic and stuff," because that's just not how we are.' At the time, Lowry noted that she prefers to not be 'the center of attention' and 'would have been happier if [Scott] had left the ring on the table and walked out.' Lowry was previously engaged and married to Marroquin from 2012-2017, and Scott walked down the aisle with his ex-wife Kayla Brooke in 2018, before calling it quits just two years later. Although it is unclear why she and Scott ended their romance, Lowry praised his 'cool, calm and collected' demeanor in an interview last year. 'I've never experienced that in my entire life,' Lowry told Us Weekly. 'He's an angel on this earth, and I don't know what I did to deserve him.' Lowry said that her fiancé has a can-do mentality of 'nothing is too big of a problem' for them, which is 'really different' from her past partners. Lowry said that Scott has 'seamlessly' blended in with her family, saying, 'My kids love him, which is so - I just have never really seen that.' She added: 'Isaac [now Elliott] and Elijah are best friends. If Elijah is not at a game for Lincoln, Lincoln's like, "Where is Elijah?" Not even looking for me, looking for him. 'And then Lux and Creed love him because they just jump all over him. They think he's, like, the cool dad. Maybe not their dad, but the cool dad.'

Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham reveals how much she makes on OnlyFans
Farrah Abraham revealed how much money she actually makes on OnlyFans. She shed insight on the lucrative amount of money she makes on OnlyFans every year as she talked about how far she's come since starring on Teen Mom. Abraham, 34, also talked about how she does podcasts on the platform's video streaming OFTV, which features other content that is not adult content, for even more money. While making an appearance with her 16-year-old daughter Sophia on Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry's Barely Famous podcast this week, she revealed that just for an appearance on a friend's podcast, she earns around $30,000. With everything she does on OnlyFans, she admitted that she makes multiple seven-digit figures annually. 'It's millions,' she said just shortly after revealing the staggering amount she's spent on plastic surgery in an exclusive interview with 'Millions of dollars a year.' The Teen Mom alum also revealed if she would ever go back to the franchise if she was asked to go back. Abraham said after being fired 'three times,' she said she is too 'intelligent' now to ever go back to the show. She also spoke about how she went from being a single mom as a teenager to her 'empowering' life now, where she is in control of her own career. Abraham was one of the OG teens who starred on 16 & Pregnant in 2009. Following the success, she was one of the young moms who joined the spin-off Teen Mom series, which ran in its original iteration for four seasons. She was a part of the cast up until the seventh season even during the time she was 'sex shamed' for her first foray into adult entertainment after appearing in a fake 'leaked' sex tape. 'I should never have tolerated the firing and the mental abuse from that shaming,' Abraham said while discussing the backlash she faced from the franchise for her adult entertainment career. 'I think again it just goes back to, like, you're a Teen Mom and shamed, judged and getting blamed,' she continued. Abraham, 34, also talked about how she does podcasts on the platform's video streaming OFTV, which features other content that is not adult content, for even more money 'And I just gotta say, like, if we look outside of this disgusting world that is just not correct and it's sinking, it's teens were never included in equality and inclusion of proper contraception.' Abraham also said she blames a 'male toxicity' for her experience on the show. 'I feel like there was a lot of women's oppression, I'm just being honest, when it comes to Teen Mom. There is a lot of male toxicity and influence.' She added: 'You take your insanity and try to have some sanity with it and say, like, "This is what we're going to do." 'And I think that's kind of where me and Teen Mom fell out, straight up.' 'I really don't regret anything,' she confessed. 'I think if anything, I need to push harder on inclusion and equity for teens who are turning into adulting.' Reflecting on her younger self on 16 & Pregnant and Teen Mom, she added: 'When I look back right now, I feel like I'm almost really doing the best at adulting out of my cast, straight-up — financially, education-wise, looking back at it, living it, full-circling it. 'I am so grateful for never being like, "Oh, I need to go, like, crawl in a corner and not be in my divine femininity because men are telling me they're gonna fire me,' she continued. '"Yeah, well, what if you just don't even need the show?" And then I blossomed.' This comes after she finally set the record straight on the shocking amount of money she's spent on her face and body. The Teen Mom star has undergone a reported three boob jobs, a nose job, a chin implant, butt injections, cheek filler and lip filler. Opening up to in March, she didn't shy away from revealing the hefty price tag of her 'transformations.' 'I mean my mouth is $50,000,' she spilled. Motioning her hand down her physique at the time, she continued: 'This whole thing, I mean gosh, my boyfriends really get a deal hanging out with me because it's, like, a million dollar body straight up.' She went on to say that she has to 'have an insurance policy' for her body due to 'self-worth, self-investment, self-value'... and 'divine femininity.' Even though she can't put an exact price tag on all her procedures, she did say that she has spent 'hundreds of thousands of dollars' over the years. 'I would say, yeah, like hundreds of thousands of dollars and not just on my looks, but on my mental health, my wellness, my happiness, my confidence,' she quipped. 'So, investing in yourself internally really pays off and getting sleep and rest.'

Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry's son, 15, comes out and reveals why he changed his name to Elliott
Teen Mom alum Kailyn Lowry is celebrating a major milestone with her eldest son, who came out as gay and revealed he now goes by a new name during the latest episode of her Barely Famous podcast. The 33-year-old reality star invited her 15-year-old, whom she shares with ex Jo Rivera, to co-host Friday's episode and give an update on his life. 'It's very important to me because I feel like growing up on TV, it's hard to show who you really are when a camera is in front of you all the time,' the teen said. 'It's almost like you have a TV face. It's harder to be yourself and to be more comfortable.' He went on to explain that he changed his name after no longer feeling connected to his birth name. 'I started going by Elliott because at some point, I wasn't happy with my first name,' he said. 'It just doesn't feel like me.' Teen Mom alum Kailyn Lowry is celebrating a major milestone with her eldest son, who came out as gay and revealed he now goes by a new name during the latest episode of her Barely Famous podcast The 33-year-old reality star invited her 15-year-old, whom she shares with ex Jo Rivera, to co-host Friday's episode and give an update on his life Lowry noted that she believes the switch was partly an effort to separate from the version of himself viewers saw on MTV, and Elliott agreed that was true. He then confirmed he identifies as gay. Overcome with emotion, Lowry broke down in tears as she praised her son's courage, saying she was 'so proud' of him for embracing his identity and calling it a 'brave thing to do.' Her son added, "I'm sick of people coming up with their own stories and putting things in their own words and things coming out on other people's terms about me, because my life isn't entertainment for other people. 'My life is my life and I can do what I want with it. And for people to take things from my life, like personal stuff, is not okay. 'If I want to share it, I should share that on my own terms.' Kailyn also shares son Lincoln, 11, with ex Javi Marroquin; sons Lux, 7, and Creed, 4, with ex Chris Lopez; and son Rio, 2, with fiancé Elijah Scott. In late 2023, she also welcomed twins Verse and Valley with Scott. Overcome with emotion, Lowry broke down in tears as she praised her son's courage, saying she was 'so proud' of him for embracing his identity and calling it a 'brave thing to do' The podcast reveal comes after Kailyn showed off her slimmed down frame with bikini snaps after undergoing a breast reduction. Back in December Lowry revealed she had gotten a breast reduction just before Christmas Eve. She used her Instagram Story to share various post-op selfies as she tracked her recovery and asked fans if they wanted further content detailing her operation. Lowry's surgery came months after she revealed she was told she needed to lose weight in order to be eligible for a breast augmentation. On her Almost Famous podcast in May she said: 'I want to get a boob job, right? I call around. I'm making these consultations to get a boob job. You know what they told me? They told me I need to lose 40 pounds.' She reiterated, 'So 40 or 50 pounds, more like 50 but maybe get away with 40 pounds, before they can even operate on me.' Reflecting on the moment, the former MTV star admitted she was overcome with emotion, 'sobbing' on the phone with a doctor's office as she considered a 'breast reduction, implants [or] lift.' 'I don't even know if I can get my double chin done,' she noted. After welcoming her twins in late 2023, Kailyn admitted she wanted to try the popular weight loss drug Ozempic to drop weight quick to return to her pre-baby body. 'How hard it is to lose weight as an adult, f**k my life. I'm scared,' she admitted on her Baby Mamas No Drama podcast in January 2024. 'I was in the gym five days a week. If you're going to get plastic surgery you have to maintain it.'
