India bagged a 3-1 victory over Uruguay in the shootout after a 2-2 draw in regulation time during their fifth game of the junior women's Four Nations Hockey Tournament in Rosario in Argentina. Vice-captain Hina (10') and Lalrinpuii (24') gave India an early lead, while Geeta, Kanika and Lalthantluangi converted their chances in the shootout to secure the victory over Uruguay. India began strongly as Hina opened the scoring in the 10th minute, followed by Lalrinpuii doubling the lead in the 24th minute, giving India a 2-0 advantage at halftime.
