Rocco Nacino to reprise role as Torran in ‘Bar Boys: After School
Rocco Nacino is returning as Torran Garcia, now a professor, in the upcoming sequel, "Bar Boys: After School." The announcement was made on the official "Bar Boys" Facebook page, confirming the Kapuso actor's return to his role. Also returning are Carlo Aquino, Enzo Pineda, and Kean Cipriano, who will reprise their roles as Erik, Chris, and Josh, respectively. In May, Glaiza de Castro was also revealed to be joining the cast of the sequel. 'Bar Boys: After School' is the follow-up to the 2017 film 'Bar Boys,' which followed the journey of four friends through law school. The sequel will explore their lives after graduation as they navigate careers and adulthood. In 2024, 'Bar Boys' was adapted into a musical. —AOL, GMA Integrated News

Bianca Umali pens heartfelt letter after becoming crowd favorite among PBB fans
Bianca Umali's stay as celebrity house guest in "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" may be short, but it was enough to capture the hearts of the viewers who grew fond of her. On Instagram, the Sparkle star shared a photo of her younger self along with a heartfelt message for the PBB fans who showed her love during and after her stint. "Hello po sa inyong lahat. Hindi ko po alam kung saan at paano po magsisimula. Sobra sobra po itong ipinaparamdam ninyo sa akin and I couldn't stop crying. Pang ilang araw na po na sumasabog ang puso ko with gratitude," Bianca wrote. "Maraming salamat po sa inyo. This is the most that I have ever felt love in my life from the outside world," she added. According to Bianca, having been an orphan most of her life, she believed the only love she would ever have, truly deserve, and never lose was from her Lola Vicky—a love that made her feel content and whole. "But now? Oh wow. As I was praying… God gave me the answer. This is what love is. This is a version of the love I thought I would never have… this is the love of my Mommy and my Daddy being showered upon me through all of you and words aren't even enough to express the state I am experiencing. This is surreal. I am over the moon," Bianca said. She also thanked the viewers for giving their time to listen to their story, and said that she never thought that it is possible to feel a love that is beyond measure. "Ka mahal mahal po pala ako ng ganito ka sobra. I never knew I could be loved this much! Ngayon, I have learned na - hindi na ako magisa at lalong hindi na ako dapat matakot sa mga tao at sa mundo. Alam ko na po ito dahil po sa inyo," the Kapuso star said. "Ama, taos-puso po akong nagpasasalamat sa inyo para po sa biyayang mga pangyayari na ito! Kahit kailan ay hindi po ako humiling… at sobra sobra pa po ang binibigay ninyo!" Bianca added. Ending her post, the "Sang'gre" star expressed her love for all the kind praises she received from the netizens. "From the bottom of my heart, mahal na mahal ko din po kayong lahat! If only I could hug each and every one of you ng mahigpit! Ayun lang po okay Iyak lang po ako ulit wait lang po." Previously, Bianca said that she entered PBB because of her late mom May, who was a big fan of the reality show. While inside Bahay ni Kuya, she went viral for cleaning the house. Kuya also gave her a name tag of her mom with his signature at the back. Glaiza De Castro, Faith Da Silva, more Kapuso stars join 'Stars on the Floor'
The pool of Kapuso personalities and content creators who will be joining in the upcoming dance show "Stars on the Floor" have been revealed! According to Nelson Canlas' report in "24 Oras Weekend," Sunday, the Kapuso celebrities are Glaiza De Castro, Faith Da Silva, Rodjun Cruz, Thea Astley, and VXON member Patrick. Meanwhile, for the content creator side, they are Dasuri Choi, Zeus Collins, Joshua Decena, JM Yrreverre and Kakai Almeda. "Dancer ako dito. Aartehin ko ko na magaling ako sumayaw so abangan niyo po ang aking pag-arte bilang mahusay na mananayaw," Glaiza said. Meanwhile for Faith, she's giving her all out effort in dancing as sharing the dance floor with amazing dancers in the country is such a privilege. "'Yung stage presence ko is there. Atsaka sinisipagan ko talaga ng matindi kasi it's such a privilege to be sharing a stage kasama ang mga naghuhusayang dancer dito sa Pilipinas," she said. Meanwhile for Zeus and Dasuri, "Stars on the Floor" is a big challenge for them as they will be performing in front of a big audience and to try new genres of dancing. "We just show our skills sa world through our phone. Ngayon kasi ang daming camera sa harap namin atsaka, ang laki ng stage 360 [degrees]. As in grabe, walang take two kaya super grabe ang pressure," Dasuri said. "'Yung mga genre na ibinibigay sa amin ay hindi kami familiar. Kumbaga ako hiphop, may mga jazz o paso-doble. Kaya andon 'yung mga photographer na talagang inaalalayan kami. And siyempre challenge 'ito sa amin kasi sobrang nahihirapan kaming lahat kahit hindi talaga siya madali," Zeus added. "Stars on the Floor" is hosted by Alden Richards with Marian Rivera, Pokwang and SB19 choreographer Coach Jay serving as the judges. Mikee Quintos shared how Mikoy Morales asked her to be the best woman at his upcoming wedding with Isa Garcia. Benjamin Alves just unearthed a throwback photo with Alden Richards and Tippy Dos Santos channeling their inner Jacob Black, Edward Cullen, and Bella Swan from the "Twilight" films! On Instagram, the Kapuso actor hopped on Cristopher Diwata's iconic "What hafen, Vella?" trend by sharing some snaps from the Twilight-inspired shoot photographed by Andrew Apuya years ago. In the photos recreating the movie poster for "Twilight: New Moon," Benjamin and Tippy were facing each other while Alden, who was sporting a vampire makeup, stood behind them, creating the impression of a love triangle. "What hafen Vela? I know, Alden ryt?" Benjamin wrote, referencing Cristopher's iconic line. In the comment section, fellow celebrities such as Dingdong Dantes and Rhian Ramos can't help but poke fun at his post. Even Tippy herself joined the fun train commenting "Oh my gosh." In 2013, Cristopher joined the "It's Showtime" segment "Kalokalike" as Taylor Lautner's "Twilight" character, Jacob Black. Over a decade later, Cristopher went viral again and stamped his place in the Philippine internet's hall of fame for memes.
