Myleene Klass puts on a leggy display in skimpy leopard-print shorts as she arrives at Smooth Radio

Myleene Klass set pulses racing as she arrived at Smooth Radio Studios in London on Friday. The TV personality, 47, looked incredible in a pair of skimpy leopard-print shorts that showcased her toned legs. She wore sheer black tights and paired the shorts with a black vest top and a smart blazer. Posing up a storm for the cameras, Myleene further accessorised her look with a layer of gold necklaces, a black baseball cap, and a pair of trendy oversized shades. To complete her look, she sported a pair of black ankle boots and toted her essentials in a black Chanel handbag as she made her way into the studio. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Earlier this month, Myleene led the stars celebrating the 80th anniversary of VE Day as she hosted a tribute concert at the Royal Albert Hall. Joined in her hosting duties by Katherine Jenkins and Dan Walker, she pulled out all the stops on the night in an eye-catching red gown. The singer certainly brought the glamour as she displayed her toned frame in the thigh-high split dress, which was adorned with a huge bow detailing. The event, sponsored by the Daily Mail, featured a show-stopping performance from mezzo-soprano Katherine and dancing from Strictly Come Dancing stars. The show also included first-hand recollections from military veterans and those who lived through the conflict. Former pop star Myleene, whose father served in the Merchant Navy, said it was 'both humbling and an honour' to be involved. She said: 'With it (VE Day) being 80 years now, and as our serving personnel from that time reach an age many never thought they'd see, it's essential we keep their sacrifices and memory alive.' Her co-host, former BBC Breakfast star Dan, told the Mail he considered it 'a real privilege' to be 'standing on that stage introducing some amazing people'. 'Those values of freedom and democracy matter today.' Marking the anniversary, King Charles also used a keynote speech to call for greater efforts towards global peace. With conflicts in Ukraine, the Middle East and across the African continent, His Majesty suggested it was time to remind ourselves of the words of our great wartime leader, Sir Winston Churchill, who said: 'Meeting jaw to jaw is better than war.' 'In so doing, we should also rededicate ourselves not only to the cause of freedom but to renewing global commitments to restoring a just peace where there is war, to diplomacy, and to the prevention of conflict,' he said. 'For as my grandfather [King George VI, who was monarch during the Second World War] put it: "We shall have failed, and the blood of our dearest will have flowed in vain, if the victory which they died to win does not lead to a lasting peace, founded on justice and established in good will." 'Just as those exceptional men and women fulfilled their duty to each other, to humankind, and to God, bound by an unshakeable commitment to nation and service, in turn, it falls to us to protect and continue their precious legacy – so that one day hence generations yet unborn may say of us: "they too bequeathed a better world".'

How Gethin Jones and Helen Skelton are mending each other's hearts after Welsh presenter was destroyed by split from ex fiancée Katherine Jenkins and Blue Peter star was left blind-sided when ex husband Richie called quits on their marriage

Gethin Jones and Helen Skelton didn't hide their growing bond as they cosied up on the presenter's motorbike while heading for breakfast in Manchester city centre on Thursday. It comes amid speculation of the pair's growing 'deeper connection' after MailOnline revealed that the Morning Live hosts have grown close off-screen after they were seen leaving the BAFTA TV Awards together. Yet both TV stars have experience their fare share of heartbreak after Gethin's famous split to ex fiancée Katherine Jenkins left him seeking therapy for depression. Meanwhile Helen split from her ex-husband Richie Myler in 2022, with whom she shares children Ernie, nine, Louis, eight, and Elsie, three, after he left the marital home four months after she gave birth. And now after presenting BBC Morning Live together, fans have insisted Helen and Gethin 'belong together' but could they mend each other's broken hearts? From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Gethin was famously engaged to fellow Welsh singer Katherine before the couple separated in December 2011 following a five-year relationship (pictured June 2011) Gethin was famously engaged to fellow Welsh singer Katherine before the couple separated in December 2011 following a five-year relationship. The Welsh presenter has been open about how the painful break up destroyed him and led to a bout of depression. Discussing his mental health battles in an interview in 2023, Gethin admitted he underwent therapy in the wake of the split. He told the Outdoors in Mind podcast: 'I was engaged and then breaking up, afterwards, or even during that period, it was just awful. 'I remember doing BBC Radio 5Live and going into the toilet at 5.30am going, "All right. Come on. Just focus for the next three hours, and then you can go back to being sad again." 'I definitely had a bad bout of depression during that time.' 'I was waiting for a friend to tell me what to do and they can't do that. It puts so much pressure on them... you need to figure it out yourself.' In the end, Gethin revealed he had counselling to try and navigate a way through how he was feeling: 'I saw someone, I had therapy for a couple of years and I still do my homework on that.' Gethin and Katherine first met in 2005 when she was a guest on Blue Peter, which he presented. Two years later they got together, when he was competing in Strictly Come Dancing and she was singing on the show. Then three years after that, he proposed - with a £10,000 ring during a romantic holiday in Mexico. In what looked to be the perfect happily ever after the pair then bought an eight-bedroom house for £4.7million in Richmond, South-West London. But the engagement faltered after just ten months. While neither have confirmed the reason for the split, various rumours have suggested his career was faltering while hers was accelerating and while he wanted a family she didn't want to press pause on her music. Speaking in 2014, Katherine claimed it was Gethin who initiated their split, shortly before she embarked on a world tour. She told Wales Online: 'At the end of 2011 when Gethin and I broke up, the reality of it was that about two weeks later I had to go on a UK tour where every night I'm singing songs of heartbreak and every day just trying to find the energy to cope let alone going on stage and understand his reason for doing it. 'Meanwhile everybody else is under the impression it was my decision, my ambition, I wanted to take over the world. It was so far from the truth.' Following on from their split Katherine married painter and filmmaker Andrew Levitas in 2014, and the pair share two children Aaliyah Reign, nine, and Xander Robert, seven. However while Katherine has been married for over a decade, Gethin hasn't been so lucky in love. He told the Daily Mail back in 2014: 'All I want to do now is meet someone, get married, have a big family, be a good father. 'I have never made any secret of that but the problem is finding someone. I started going to yoga classes as I thought that would be a good place to meet girls, but it is hard to chat to someone when you are balancing upside down. 'I had thought I'd be married by now - I was engaged, so obviously I thought that's where it was heading - but I can't force the issue. If it's not meant to be, it won't happen.' Gethin went on to date German underwear model Katja Zwara, however the couple separated in 2018 after a year of dating with a source confirming to The Sun: 'Gethin and Katja remain pals but things just didn't quite work out in the end. 'They split last month and have gone their separate ways.' The star also had a brief relationship with TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh before the couple amicably parted ways in 2014. In 2023 he fuelled romance rumours with First Dates star Cici Coleman after they were seen enjoying a night at the theatre followed by drinks and dinner. Meanwhile Helen was married to her ex husband Richie for eight years before she announced on Instagram he had 'left the family home' in April 2022, just four months after the birth of their youngest child Elsie. Writing in her autobiography, In My Stride, Helen recalled her 2022 split and how it blindsided her: 'I was in shock. I know that following break-ups, people often say they didn't see it coming and it sounds like a cliché, but that was me.' Helen was so distraught after her split from Richie that she was unable to tell her parents at first as she did not want to 'inflict' pain on them. But when her father noticed her spending a lot of time on her own with her children at her marital home, he surprised her with a visit from Cumbria. Helen wrote: 'He immediately stepped in, knowing I needed him, even though I didn't want to admit it.' Since their split, Richie has gone on to welcome two more children with his new partner Stephanie Thirkill. The rugby ace, 34, welcomed son Freddie with Stephanie last June and the couple already share daughter Olivia, who was born in May 2023. A year after the couple's split, Helen was said to be dating again as she attempted to move on one year after her 'trust was broken' by Richie. A source told OK! magazine: 'She is now reluctantly dipping her toe back into the dating pool. 'After her trust was broken, she's nowhere near ready for an all-in long-term romance. But she's not closing herself off to anything anymore. 'She's open to new adventures in all respects and is making it her aim to say 'yes' to more things that excite her.' So far Helen and Gethin's respective reps haver refused to comment on the duo's relationship, but fellow guests at the BAFTAs earlier this month said the pair's interactions were very 'tactile'. A TV source told MailOnline: 'Helen and Gethin have an extremely close working relationship and there's a feeling in recent months their friendship has blossomed into a deeper connection. 'They're both keen to keep a lid on it to avoid public scrutiny but there's no denying their closeness both on and off screen.' The Welsh presenter has in the past expressed his admiration for his co-star after they took part in a 24-hour live TV marathon in aid of Comic Relief earlier this year. Taking to social media in March following their epic TV stint, Gethin shared his admiration for Helen and despite having spent 24 hours together, revealed that he called her up just an hour later. Alongside a selection of images of the pair looking close during their TV marathon, he penned: 'And a little appreciation post for this super woman @helenskelton. Unbelievable physical and mental resilience… 'Loves a laugh but a deep thinker (I had to remind her a few times we were live on tv). 'It says a lot that you can spend 24hrs non stop with someone and still call them an hour later for a debrief . Respect means we can be honest with each other always. 'There was NO time at all, at any time during this challenge, not one, where I wanted to throw her off the rink. Never once. Didn't even come into mind.'

The garment featured a v-neckline and layered detail while Myleene cinched her waist with a gold chain belt. Adding height to her frame with a pair of white heels, the former Hear'Say singer added to her outfit with a matching handbag. Styling her brunette locks into a ponytail, the mother-of-three also sported a pair trendy sunglasses. Helen Skelton looks happier than ever as she leaves the Morning Live studios after 'growing close' to co-star Gethin Jones

Helen Skelton was all smiles as she was seen for the first time since it was revealed she's 'growing close' to co-star Gethin Jones. The TV presenter, 41, looked in high spirits as she picked up a salad before leaving the BBC Morning Live Studios in Manchester. Helen cut a trendy figure as she layered an oversized blue striped shirt over a white strappy blouse which she tucked into a pair of denim jeans. Styling her long blonde tresses loose in waves, she kept comfortable in a pair of black sandals and accessorised with a chunky silver chain necklace. Helen beamed as she exited the studios carrying a salad as well as her phone and sunglasses. It comes as insiders have revealed that presenting duo Helen and Gethin, who have 'flirty' onscreen chemistry, have also formed a close friendship away from the cameras, as sources are convinced their bond has developed into a deeper connection. The TV stars, who have both presented Blue Peter and appeared as contestants on Strictly Come Dancing, are currently single after Gethin admitted he has been on the dating scene for the past two years having previously been engaged to Katherine Jenkins, and Helen split from ex-husband Richie Myler in 2022. To add to the intrigue, their respective reps are also refusing to comment on the duo's relationship, which has garnered further attention after they were seen leaving the BAFTA Television Awards together earlier this month with fellow guests at the event saying they were very 'tactile'. A TV source told MailOnline: 'Helen and Gethin have an extremely close working relationship and there's a feeling in recent months their friendship has blossomed into a deeper connection. 'They're both keen to keep a lid on it to avoid public scrutiny but there's no denying their closeness both on and off screen.' Helen, 41, has been single since her high profile 2022 break up from husband Richie, the father of her three children, Ernie, nine, Louis, eight and Elsie, three. The rugby league player, 34, was married to Helen for nine years before they split with the former Strictly star writing on Instagram that she was very 'sad' he had 'left the family home'. The ex-Blue Peter presenter has spoken about how difficult she found the breakdown of her marriage, writing in her autobiography she was in 'shock' and 'didn't see it coming', as the couple split four months after the birth of their youngest child. Helen's commitment to her children saw the Countryfile star step down from her presenting role on BBC Radio 5 Live, as she announced in 2023 her departure was so she could spend more time with her family. Richie has since moved on with Stephanie Thirkill, the daughter of Leeds Rhinos president Andrew Thirkill, and they have welcomed two children, Olivia and Freddie. Gethin, meanwhile, has been single for two years having briefly dated First Dates star Cici Coleman in 2023. Previously, he had romances with TOWIE's Lucy Mecklenburgh in 2014 and German underwear model Katja Zwara in 2017. But his most serious relationship was with Welsh opera star Katherine Jenkins who he dated for four years from 2007. The presenter, 47, even proposed in February 2011 but they broke off their engagement in December that year. Gethin is believed to have been a rock for Helen after the breakdown of her marriage with the pair often socialising together away from the cameras. They are both based in Manchester during the week when they film Morning Live in Salford and as well as attending big award shows together, the TV duo have also been at events alongside friends and family. In April last year, they attended a special Strictly Come Dancing themed charity event, the Burrow Strictly Ball, set up by the legendary late rugby league star Rob Burrow's sisters Jo and Claire for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. An eyewitness at the event revealed: 'It was very clear that Helen and Gethin were together as a couple at the event, they were with close friends of Helen's and their connection was undeniable.' Helen and Gethin posed for an Instagram snap together at the TV Choice Awards, where the co-star's were seen tenderly touching each other's hands The same month Gethin was pictured tenderly touching Helen's hand, which was wrapped around his arm, at the TV Choice awards. Helen posted the snap on Instagram, which also included fellow Morning Live host Michelle Ackerley, and wrote: 'Technically work colleagues, but we know too much about each other.' The insider added: 'Helen and Gethin have been able to attend events together without much fanfare purely because they're work colleagues. 'They're officially there to 'represent the show' which is a bonus for them as they can slip under the radar but anyone who has seen them at these bashes will testify they look extremely cosy.' That close connection was evident again in January when they competed together at Manchester fitness event Hyrox doubles, which would have involved extensive training. And two months later, Helen and Gethin teamed up to raise money for Comic Relief in March when they took part in a nonstop 24 hour roller-skate challenge. Gushing about Gethin afterwards on social media, Helen wrote: 'My dear @gethincjones... You are some man. 'I don't publicly say often enough how much love and respect I have for you my friend because I assume it is well known, but for the record you're a legend and I am beyond grateful to have you by my side on the rink, the sofa and beyond.' In response, Gethin dedicated an Instagram post to Helen, writing: 'And a little appreciation post for this super woman. Unbelievable physical and mental resilience... 'Loves a laugh but a deep thinker (I had to remind her a few times we were live on TV). It says a lot that you can spend 24 hours with someone and still call them an hour later for a debrief...' The following month, Helen competed in the London Marathon, sparking more social media gushing. Helen is a mother to her three children Ernie, Louis, and Elsie, with whom she shares with ex Richie Gethin commented on her Instagram post: 'Here she is... Finding the time, packing it in, breaking boundaries, committing to it, (even treadmill sessions at 4am). Well done H, you never cease to amaze me.' Helen and Gethin have both previously been open about their respective love lives. In November 2022, when she competed on Strictly Come Dancing, Helen admits her marriage split - which came shortly after the birth of her third child - left her 'battle hardened' and the dance show acted as a kind of 'therapy.' Meanwhile, Gethin has poked fun at this single status, revealing on Martin Compston and Gordon Smart's Restless Natives podcast in February the administrators on dating app Hinge refused to believe he had signed up and struck him off assuming he was an imposter. And after convincing them he was 'the real Gethin Jones' he left anyway having failed to find a suitable date. He explained: 'The moment when I have to write to Hinge, 'Dear Hinge' on a Thursday night, on your own, writing to an online dating app. 'Hi it's Gethin here, 46. I just want to get my money back because it's not really working for me,' eating some cereal because I hadn't got some food in.'
