More bad news for Kavya Maran's SRH, star cricketer to...
In these collection of pictures, we find out about bad news which has come the way of Sunrisers Hyderabad owner Kavya Maran about her star player ahead of IPL 2025 final. Kavya Maran's Sunrisers Hyderabad failed to qualify for IPL 2025 Playoffs. After reaching the final in 2024 edition, SRH finished in 6th position with 13 points from 14 matches. SRH batter Heinrich Klaasen has retired from international cricket on Monday at the age of 33. "It is a sad day for me as I announce that I have decided to step away from international cricket. It took me a long time to decide what's best for me and my family for the future. It was truly a very difficult decision but also one that I have absolute peace with," said Klaasen. Kavya Maran's SRH retained Heinrich Klaasen for Rs 23 crore ahead of IPL 2025 mega auction last year. Heinrich Klaasen was highest run-scorer for SRH in IPL 2025 season with 487 runs in 14 matches at a strike-rate of over 172. Heinrich Klaasen scored his 2nd IPL hundred this season, notching up 105 not out again KKR in their last game of the season. Heinrich Klaasen played in 60 ODIs and 58 T20s for South Africa with 2141 ODI runs and 1000 T20 runs. Heinrich Klaasen made the decision to retire from international cricket after not getting CSA central contract earlier this month. "My road to wearing the Proteas shirt was different than most and there were certain coaches in my career that kept believing in me - to them I will always be grateful. To have played with the Proteas badge on my chest was and will always be the biggest honour in my career. I look forward to spending more time with my family as this decision will allow me to do so. I will always be a big Proteas supporter and would like to thank everyone that supported me and my teammates during my career," Klaasen wrote in his retirement statement.

One move by Kavya Maran to cause massive loss to players, big names include...
Image credit: X (Formerly Twitter) The IPL 2025 season did not go as expected for Sunrisers Hyderabad. The team, which won only 6 out of 14 matches, missed out on a place in the playoffs. SRH, known for its strong batting and bowling last season, seemed to lose its rhythm this time. Now that the season is over for them, the team owner Kavya Maran and the management will soon start preparing a strategy for the next season. This may include releasing some underperforming players and including new faces through the trade window. At the same time, their eyes are going to be on some star players in the mini auction. IPL franchises release those players after every season who do not live up to expectations. Sunrisers Hyderabad may also consider releasing some players whose performance was average this season. Big players like Mohammed Shami and Kamindu Mendis may be included in the release list. This season was very bad for Mohammed Shami. He could take only 6 wickets in 9 matches. At the same time, his economy was also more than 11. On the other hand, Kamindu Mendis could also score only 92 runs in 5 matches and took 2 wickets. Atharva Tayde can also be released. However, he did not get many opportunities, and when he got a chance, he failed to make an impact. He was included in the playing 11 only once. That is, the team did not show much confidence in him, due to which he can be released. Sachin Baby also got to play only 1 match, that is, he also did not fit into the team's plans. Rahul Chahar and Wiaan Mulder also got to play 1-1 matches, so their names can also be in the list of players to be released. Sunrisers Hyderabad retained its core group in the 2025 auction and retained Heinrich Klaasen (Rs 23 crore), Pat Cummins (Rs 18 crore), Travis Head (Rs 14 crore), Abhishek Sharma (Rs 14 crore) and Nitish Kumar Reddy (Rs 6 crore). The performance of these players was also good, so the team can retain these star players with them. Apart from this, Ishan Kishan and Harshal Patel also managed to leave their mark. These players can also be included in the team's future plans. Harshal brought the team back on many occasions with his death over bowling, while Kishan made useful contributions in some important innings. Now many important decisions will be in front of the management of Sunrisers. They will have to decide which players to retain and who to replace through the trade window or mini auction. Apart from this, the possibility of changes in the support staff and coaching team cannot be ruled out. IPL 2025 may have been disappointing, but Sunrisers fans are hopeful that the next season will be better. Kavya Maran and the team management are expected to adopt a solid strategy and take the team to the top again in the next season.
