‘Big Brother 27' spoilers: Here's who wins the Week 3 Veto competition during Lauren's yawn-inducing HOH reign
Gold Derby is serving up Big Brother 27 spoilers all summer long. Read at your own risk! The third Head of Household of the season, Lauren Domingue, made zero waves in the house this week as she nominated three people for eviction who'd already been on the block: Keanu Soto, Kelley Jorgensen, and Will Williams. Yawn! (Read our recap of Sunday's episode.) More from Gold Derby 'America's Got Talent 20' recap: Simon declares 'one of the craziest days' of auditions 'Big Brother 27' spoilers: Lauren's HOH reign goes from bad to worse after Veto meeting The 22-year-old bridal consultant from Lafayette, La. (and self-described Big Brother superfan) was hoping to come away from her HOH reign with no blood on her hands. So, she nominated Keanu because he was the house's target, Kelley because she volunteered (yet again!), and Will because everyone loves him and he had just survived a 13-0 vote against . The eligible contestants soon took part in the Week 3 Veto competition, and it was revealed on the Paramount+ live feeds that the winner of the medallion was ... Keanu! This 33-year-old Dungeon Master from Miami is now in a similar position to last week, where he was the house's target but he came off the block because of the Power of Veto. Only this time, he won the advantage himself and didn't have to rely on the "Mystery Competitor," aka Season 20 champion Kaycee Clark. Keanu will undoubtedly use the Veto to remove himself from the block for the second week in a row. That means Lauren will soon have to nominate a fourth houseguest for eviction. 'Big Brother 27' cast: Meet the 16 new houseguests and the 1 mystery player View Gallery17 Images In a conversation with Vince Panaro, her final two ride-or-die, Lauren said she was contemplating putting up Ashley Hollis as the renom. Remember, Ashley's game was on the line way back in Week 1 when she took a two-hour shower in Vince's HOH room. Katherine Woodman helped push that #showergate narrative, and Lauren and Katherine have since become besties in the house. Another person who should watch her back is Rachel Reilly, the show's infamous "queen" and winner of Season 13. Rachel is constantly talked about as a threat in this game, but she's so far managed to avoid the block. However, if Lauren were to nominate Rachel as the renom, and Rachel were to survive, Lauren would surely have blood on her hands, which is something she's trying to avoid. Also of note: by winning the Veto competition, Keanu earned the right to host a movie screening of The Bad Guys 2. He chose Ava Pearl and Rachel to join him. At the thought of watching a movie with Keanu, who drives her absolutely bonkers, Ava whispered to Will, "Please, God, don't!" She added, "And now Rachel is gonna watch the movie, too? I'm gonna be locked in a g--d--- room with Crazy 1 and Crazy 2. F--- my life!" See how all the Veto drama plays out Wednesday night on CBS. Then on Thursday, the three nominees will have one last chance to save themselves in the live BB Block Buster competition. ‘Big Brother' 27 Contestant Zae Was Caught Using an Ableist Slur
Well, that didn't take long. Less than a week into Big Brother season 27 and already a Houseguest has been caught using a slur. Late Tuesday night, fans saw Isaiah 'Zae' Frederich use an ableist slur on the live feed while playing chess with Keanu Soto. And while this may seem like it should be a rare occurrence, reality TV fans know that when it comes to Big Brother, this kind of scandal is almost a guarantee. As previously mentioned, Zae used the slur during a game of chess, saying 'Oh, shit, I'm a fucking [R-word].' He then corrected himself saying, 'Damn, I shouldn't say that word.' Keanu responded, 'No, you shouldn't.' The eyebrow-raising conversation continued. 'That was one of the ones I was working on not saying for this,' Zae admitted, suggesting that there are other slurs or offensive words he's having to keep himself from using for fear of being exposed on national television. Keanu laughed, saying Zae was lucky it was so late in the night. 'We probably don't even have the live feed on us,' he said, yawning and looking around, as if searching for one of the 112 hidden HD cameras peppered throughout the Big Brother House. Oh, how wrong you are, Keanu. It's unclear whether or not Zae will be reprimanded for his use of the slur. In 2023, Big Brother dismissed a contestant for using a racial slur. At the time, host Julie Chen Moonves told viewers that the contestant in question, Luke Valentine, 'broke the Big Brother code of conduct,' but the show hasn't always had a stellar record when it comes to actually removing people from the competition for offensive language—and it's unclear if the R-word is also banned in the code of conduct. Meanwhile, Zae is already up for eviction on tomorrow night's episode, so it's possible that the powers that be at Big Brother won't have to act at all. The Houseguests are still strategizing and forming allegiances and debating who they are going to vote to evict this week, and who knows, maybe they'll vote Zae out on their own.

Big Brother Contestant Faces Backlash After Using Slur During Live Broadcast
Big Brother contestant Isaiah "Zae" Frederich faces backlash after using a slur during a live broadcast. The incident sparked debate online. Controversy has erupted inside the Big Brother house after contestant Isaiah 'Zae" Frederich was heard using an offensive slur during a late-night conversation that was streamed live to audiences. The moment occurred while Zae was playing chess with fellow housemate Keanu Soto. The incident has quickly drawn comparisons to previous seasons where houseguests were removed for similar behaviour. The comment in question came unexpectedly, as Zae remarked, 'Oh s**t. I'm a frd."* Immediately after, he appeared to realize the gravity of what he had said and added, 'Damn, I shouldn't say that word." Keanu responded, 'No, you shouldn't," before asking aloud whether the live feed was active—unaware that fans were already tuned in. Zae then admitted, 'That's one of the ones I was working on not saying," and both housemates laughed, with Keanu adding, 'I think you're good… you're lucky it's late." The clip quickly circulated online, prompting a wave of responses across social media. Some viewers were reminded of a 2023 incident in which contestant Luke Valentine was expelled from the house after using the N-word. At the time, CBS stated, 'Luke violated the Big Brother code of conduct and there is zero tolerance in the house for using a racial slur. He has been removed from the house." Public reaction to Zae's comment has been mixed. While some users on X (formerly Twitter) criticized the remark, others defended him, arguing that the term he used does not carry the same weight as racial slurs. One user wrote, 'They're comparing retard to the N word? C'mon now…" Another added, 'I don't see anything wrong with this. When a contestant goes into the house they are encouraged to be themselves. Even their uncouth selves. Now it's a problem?" Others expressed concern over the normalization of such language. 'When did it become ok to throw that word around again? It's everywhere again," one person noted. As of now, CBS has not released an official statement on the incident, and Zae remains in the Big Brother house. Charlize Theron says Keanu Reeves 'goes by his own clock'
Charlize Theron has claimed Keanu Reeves "goes by his own clock". The 49-year-old actress described her famous friend - who she starred with in the likes of 1997's Devil's Advocate - as "one of the most loyal" people she knows, although on an episode of Hot Ones she previously claimed Keanu, 60, was most likely to not show up to her dinner party. Asked about that moment by The Hollywood Reporter, she said: "Oh my gosh, did I? I can't remember why I said that. "He definitely goes by his own clock, but not in a disrespectful way. He always shows up. He's professional. He's a great friend. He's one of the most loyal friends I've ever had. "He's also great in the sense that you can pick up with him exactly where you left off, and I don't need to talk to him every single day. "But he is a bit of an enigma, and I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't show up." The two friends haven't worked together since 2001's Sweet November, but Charlize insisted there isn't a dramatic reason behind the lengthy break. She explained: "Honestly, there's no one to blame. We are really trying, and we have been for all these years. "Obviously, we are both very busy, but we have been in development on a couple of things." Charlize insisted that the close bond they share means neither of them would want to collaborate again "for the sake" of it. She added: "We're both very similar in the sense that we love each other. "We're family, and we want to find the thing that is really worthy of the two of us being in it. "In many ways, it's like doing a sequel to [The Old Guard]. We don't want to just do it for the sake of doing so, but we think about it a lot." Back in September 2020, Charlize shared a heartfelt birthday message after her longtime friend turned 56. She wrote on Instagram: "I love this handsome human so much! Happy birthday, Keanu! You're just the best!" In the past, Charlize has dated the likes of actor Craig Bierko, Third Eye Blind singer Stephen Jenkins, Battle In Seattle director Stuart Townsend, and Hollywood star Sean Penn. Meanwhile, Keanu has been in a relationship with Alexandra Grant since around 2018. They first collaborated in 2011 on his book Ode to Happiness, with the artist providing the illustrations, and reunited again to work on his 2016 book Shadows.

But whose memorial was she visiting? Belle was the daughter of Bernie and her school mate Callum Edwards (Shaun Aylward). In 2017, the baby was conceived following a brief fling. Callum offered his commitment to his new family, suggesting marriage. Bernie was elated, but unfortunately the pregnancy didn't go to plan.
