NEXBOARD's Nanotechnology Successfully Resists Over 2,000⁰F for Over 80 Minutes in Internal Lab Test
BOCA RATON, Fla., May 28, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Xeriant, Inc. (OTCQB: XERI), ("Xeriant" or "the Company"), dedicated to the discovery, development, and commercialization of disruptive technologies in advanced materials and aerospace, announces the successful completion of a rigorous 80-minute internal fire test for NEXBOARD™'s nanotechnology-based fire retardant. The test marks a major milestone in the Company's path toward commercial production of NEXBOARD, a revolutionary composite panel made primarily from recycled materials. The 80-minute fire test was conducted under controlled lab conditions and designed to exceed the extreme fire exposure scenarios that interior wall and ceiling panels must endure for certification. The results further confirm the superior performance of Xeriant's proprietary fire-retardant formulation, which leverages nanotechnology to create a chemically stable, heat-resistant barrier without the use of toxic halogens or heavy metals. 'This impressive burn test not only validates the efficacy of our nano-enhanced fire retardant but also signals a green light for the next phase— NEXBOARD production for certification,' said Keith Duffy, CEO of Xeriant. 'Our team has worked tirelessly to optimize both the safety and sustainability of this breakthrough material. These results bring us significantly closer to delivering a commercially viable solution that addresses the urgent global demand for non-toxic, fire-resistant building products.' Please click here to watch the timelapse version of the 80-Minute Internal Flame Test, or click here for the full-length version. Xeriant's NEXBOARD is a high-performance eco-friendly construction panel designed to replace traditional wall partitioning products like drywall, OSB, plywood and cement board. In addition to its superior durability against fire, NEXBOARD is resistant to water, mold, insects, cracking and abrasion. 'As fire safety regulations continue to tighten across industries and regions, Xeriant is positioning itself as a leader in sustainable fireproofing technologies,' added Duffy. Xeriant Publishes Video Demonstrating its Nanotech Fire-Retardant Performance
BOCA RATON, Fla., April 30, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Xeriant, Inc. (OTCQB: XERI) ("Xeriant" or "the Company"), dedicated to the discovery, development, and commercialization of disruptive technologies in advanced materials and aerospace, publishes a video showcasing the powerful performance of the Company's nanotech fire-retardant. Please click below to view time-lapse and full-length videos of a 15-minute fire test conducted by Xeriant, which was similar to the recently announced test. The videos show a side-by-side comparison of treated and untreated plastic boards demonstrating an extreme example of the effectiveness of Xeriant's flame retardant nanotechnology. The untreated board quickly degrades while the board containing the nano-based fire retardant successfully withstands at least 15 minutes of direct flame, estimated to be over 2,500 degrees F. The purpose of this test was to demonstrate the effectiveness and durability of the fire retardant over an extended period of intense exposure to flames, which is an integral part of the Company's revolutionary NEXBOARD™ technology. NEXBOARD is a patent-pending composite panel made primarily from recycled plastic and fiber waste, designed to outperform drywall, plywood, and other conventional options with superior resistance to fire, water, mold, and insects. 'We plan on sharing additional fire test videos and are coordinating an upcoming production run with a manufacturing partner in conjunction with our certification testing,' said Keith Duffy, CEO of Xeriant. Boyzone 's Keith Duffy has said Liam Payne 's death was an 'eye-opener to everybody in the music business', claiming boyband members have previously been 'used as puppets'. Appearing at the world premiere for new docu-series Boyzone: No Matter What on Monday (27 January), the 50-year-old reflected on what it was like to be in a boyband in the 1990s. 'Boybands have been known to be used as puppets and a marketable commodity that have a shelf life, but fame comes alongside that,' he said. 'And I think the great loss of that young man from One Direction is an eye-opener to everybody in the music business.'
