Arsenal transfer news LIVE: Barcelona in Partey talks EXCLUSIVE, Sesko main priority up top, latest on Gyokeres
ARSENAL are looking ahead to a busy summer transfer window after another trophyless season. SunSport can exclusively reveal that Barcelona are in talks with Thomas Partey over a potential free transfer to Spain this summer. According to reports, Benjamin Sesko is now the main target for Mikel Arteta and the Gunners in the striker department. As a result, Viktor Gyokeres, who has reportedly 'agreed' personal terms, is now a fall-back option for Arsenal, should the Sesko deal fall flat - with Leizpig looking to offload sooner rather than later. Elsewhere, Juventus sensation Kenan Yildiz is emerging as a serious target for the Gunners, with his versatility meaning he can play out wide or up top.

Juventus consider loan move for Real Madrid's Endrick
Juventus have had a very confusing Serie A season and outside of Kenan Yildiz, their fans don't have too much to be excited about currently. However, as per Daniele Longo via Juventus are considering bringing in Real Madrid striker Endrick on loan. The young Brazilian is seen as one of the most talented young players in the world and if he does come in, that could fire the Bianconeri up. The Old Lady have gathered information about the teenager already. Real Madrid clearly have a lot of trust in the 18-year-old Endrick and that is why they signed him back in 2022 from Palmeiras. However in his first season at the Santiago Bernabeu, he has found playing time a little hard to come by. In 37 appearances for Los Blancos this season, mostly from the bench, he has scored 7 times. However that being said, it is hard to get into a team that has Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr, Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo, Brahim Diaz and Arda Guler as a teenager. Apart from Juventus, Endrick has also been offered to Como, Milan and Napoli. For Juve however, this makes even more sense given that their starting striker Dusan Vlahovic is expected to leave this summer. Kaulik Mitra | GIFN

The numbers of Juve's Serie A campaign
The 2024/25 Serie A season has officially drawn to a close, and so, as always, we take a look back at some of the standout numbers from the past campaign: Juventus is the team with the second-lowest average age among starters and substitutes in this Serie A season: 24 years and 288 days, behind only Parma (24 years and 98 days). No team drew more games than Juventus in the top five European leageus this season: 16, along with Osasuna. In their Serie A history, only in 1955/56 (17) did the Bianconeri record more draws in a single season, while they also drew 16 matches in the 1965/66 season. The Bianconeri scored 11 goals from direct counter-attacks, only fewer than Eintracht Frankfurt (12) and Liverpool (14) in the top five European leagues. Among the players with at least 10 goal contributions this season, Kenan Yildiz (04/05/2005) is the youngest (with seven goals and four assists). With Igor Tudor, Juventus earned an average of 2.0 points per game (5W, 3D, 1L), while with Thiago Motta the average was 1.8 (13W, 13D, 3L). Only Antonio Conte, Simone Inzaghi and Claudio Ranieri had a better average points per game than the Croatian across the 2024/25 season. SERIE A RANKINGS Juve ranked second across all 20 Serie A teams in terms of total successful passes (17,372, behind Inter); third for ball possession (57.7%) behind the Nerazzurri and Bologna; first on a par with Inter for passing accuracy (88.1%) and third for shots on target conceded (122, only Napoli and Bologna were better). Among player rankings, Yildiz was second on a par with Rafael Leao and behind only Nico Paz in terms of successful dribbles (59), while Manuel Locatelli closed out the season in third place in terms of balls played (2,817), behind Rrahmani and Ndicka. JUVE RANKINGS It is no coincidence that Yildiz and Locatelli also lead numerous in-team rankings. Kenan is first in the locker room for crosses (115), chances created (57) and, as mentioned above, successful dribbles, while Loca, in addition to balls played, leads the rankings in terms of successful passes (2121), tackles made (72) and balls recovered (141). Joining them is Dusan Vlahovic, first in terms of total shots (77) and shots on target (30), as well as obviously for goals scored (15).

How Locatelli And Yildiz Secured Champions League Berth For Juventus
Manuel Locatelli celebrates after the team's 3-2 victory against Venezia (Photo by Alessandro ...) Knowing that victory in their final game of the 2024/25 campaign would secure a place in next season's UEFA Champions League for Juventus, Manuel Locatelli and Kenan Yildiz delivered. The game against Venezia – themselves desperate for points to try to retain their Serie A status – was far from smooth sailing, particularly given the volume of players missing for the Bianconeri. Still without injured defenders Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal, while Renato Veiga and Federico Gatti were only fit enough for a place on the bench. Add in a suspension for Pierre Kalulu and the options at the back seriously limited for boss Igor Tudor, who was ultimately forced to deploy a make-shift defence. Setting up with Nicolo Savona, Alberto Costa and former Newcastle United man Lloyd Kelly in a back three, Juve found themselves undone almost immediately after the match got underway. Some wonderful passing saw Venezia spreading the ball all over the pitch, ultimately resulting in Ridgeciano Haps' crossing from the left and Daniel Fila steering the ball into the back of the net. With just over one minute played, the Bianconeri needed to react and Alberto Costa – signed in January from Vitoria Guimaraes – soon thought he had bagged his first Serie A goal only for VAR to rule that he had handled the ball prior to his shot from outside the area. After good chances for Francisco Conceiçao and Randal Kolo Muani, it was time for Kenan Yildiz to step up. A smartly taken throw-in unleashed the Turkey international, who turned a Venezia defender inside out before driving a low, left-footed effort beyond Ionut Radu. Soon after, the Bianconeri took the lead after a defensive mix up allowed Kolo Muani to break into the area, neatly controlling the ball before firing it beyond the helpless Venezia goalkeeper. Half time came and went, but it seemed Juve had learnt nothing from the opening 45 minutes. Kelly was caught flat-footed by a long ball forward, allowing John Yeboah to burst into the box and pick out Haps who saw Savona turn his shot into the back of the net when Michele Di Gregorio had it covered. The Juve goalkeeper was back in action a few minutes later, keeping the scores level with a superb one-handed save to deny Issa Doumbia before both teams began to play with much more caution. With just 20 minutes to go, Conceiçao managed to isolate Hans Nicolussi Caviglia on the edge of the box and burst beyond him leaving the Venezia midfielder with little choice but to commit a foul. Surprisingly it would be Manuel Locatelli who stepped up to take the penalty, placing a well-struck shot into the top corner. The skipper leapt over the hoardings and ran up the stadium steps to celebrate with Juventus fans, capping an excellent performance on the night. According to statistics from Locatelli recorded three tackles, three clearances and one blocked shot while connecting with 74 passes as he controlled the tempo of Juve's attacks. 'I congratulate all the lads, we gave it our all,' the 27-year-old told Sky Italia after the final whistle. 'I am happy and proud to have scored this penalty, I am the captain and I had to take this responsibility. I'm happy with this victory and with qualifying for the next Champions League, which was our goal.' With that mission accomplished, the players can briefly relax. With that Champions League berth secured, Juventus are back in action on June 19 when they take on Al-Ain at the FIFA Club World Cup.
