‘His memories are alive in all of us': Man identified in fatal police shooting inside northern Ontario courtroom

The man fatally shot by police inside a makeshift northern Ontario courtroom that was in session last Thursday has been identified as 23-year-old Tyresse Kenny Padro Cree Roundsky. As the Star first reported last week, the man was reportedly able to get between the defence counsel's and judge's tables at the fly-in court in Wapekeka First Nation with what police say was a knife, before he was shot by an OPP officer. The Special Investigations Unit is now probing the incident.
