Florida man killed, 3 injured in Bowling Green crash on I-165
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Florida man died in a crash on Saturday afternoon in Bowling Green, and a passenger in his car as well as two passengers from the other car involved were taken to the hospital for injuries. The Kentucky State Police Department (KSP) told FOX 56 News that just before 2 p.m. on Saturday, troopers with Post 3 in Bowling Green were dispatched to the 14.4-mile marker on I-165 North in response to a crash. The initial investigation showed that Alberto Alejandro Alamo Ramos, 31, of Hialeah, Florida, was driving a gray 2021 Toyota Corolla heading south on the interstate when he allegedly left the road on the left-hand side, crossing the grass median and going into the northbound lane. Ramos was pronounced dead at the scene by the Warren County coroner, KSP said. State police said a passenger in Ramos' Corolla was taken to Bowling Green Medical Center with two passengers from Rutman's Tacoma for treatment of their injuries. (FOX 56) — A tip from Charlotte County, Florida, to the Kentucky State Police Department (KSP) sparked an investigation that led to a Green County man being arrested on Wednesday and charged with 20 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). According to court documents, the investigation began when state police got a tip from the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) about a person allegedly trying to access CSAM in their jurisdiction. On Wednesday, Douglas was arrested and charged with 20 counts of possessing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor over 12 but under 18. GALLATIN COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — An investigation is underway in Gallatin County after an 18-year-old man was killed and a 20-year-old man was taken to the hospital following a Saturday night crash. According to the Kentucky State Police Department (KSP), it happened near the Kentucky Highway 1039 intersection with Knox Lillard Road. According to the Kentucky State Police Department (KSP), troopers from Post 8 in Morehead were dispatched alongside the Bath County Sheriff's Department and Owingsville police to the scene of a crash on Highway 36 around 8:40 p.m. on Saturday.
