When Amitabh Bachchan recalled Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's endurance during Aaradhya Bachchan's birth: ‘She had to struggle…'
Few may remember, but soon after Aaradhya Bachchan's birth in November 2011, Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan stepped out of their Mumbai residence, Jalsa, to meet the waiting media and share the joyful news. During that brief yet heartfelt interaction, Amitabh spoke about the baby's features. 'It seems to me that she looks like Aishwarya. But as you all know, children's faces change daily. I still believe she looks like Aishwarya. Some people in the family think she resembles Jaya or Abhishek a little,' he said. In that same exchange with the media, Amitabh Bachchan revealed he was taking time off from work. 'I am free now. Kaun Banega Crorepati is over and I don't have any films at the moment. So I'm free, and I will now stay at home.' Abhishek, standing beside him, added that his father would now be spending more time at home to help care for his granddaughter. One of the most emotional parts of the day came when Amitabh opened up about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's strength during childbirth. His account offered a rare and deeply respectful glimpse into a personal moment. 'She had to struggle but I commend her that she was in acute labour for a long time, almost 2–3 hours. But she persisted and said she wanted a normal delivery. She did not use any epidural or painkiller.' Also Read | Amitabh Bachchan 'couldn't sleep for two nights' after Aishwarya Rai suffered 'terrifying' injury on Khakee sets: 'Akshay Kumar extricated her' What many are also unaware of is that Aishwarya was originally cast as the lead in Madhur Bhandarkar's much-anticipated film Heroine. Aishwarya had signed on to play the role of Mahi Arora, a complex and troubled Bollywood star. However, her pregnancy led to an abrupt change in plans. Once the news of her pregnancy reached the producers, the decision was made to replace her with Kareena Kapoor Khan. Bhandarkar later addressed the situation on his personal blog, explaining his reasons for letting go of the actress. He wrote about being caught off guard by the development, stating he was 'in a state of total shock and depression.' With 65 days of filming still left, the director said the timeline meant Aishwarya would be '6-7 months pregnant,' a reality that would alter the on-screen image of the glamorous protagonist and 'seriously jeopardise the plot.' 'The entire crisis would have taken a humongous shape had the truth not being unveiled when it was..' he wrote, reflecting on the impact her continued participation could have had on the production. At the time, the situation stirred significant debate in the industry. Speaking to the media, Amitabh Bachchan weighed in on the controversy, defending his daughter-in-law's decision. 'Everybody knew that Aishwarya was married when she signed the film. So you mean to say that actors can't get married or have children? I don't think this can be a part of any contract—that you cannot get married or have children if you are working on a project,' he had said. Ultimately, Amitabh confirmed that the matter had been resolved privately between Aishwarya and the director.

Meet actress who divorced her first husband after 4 years, fell in love with co-star younger than her, married secretly, her name is..., husband is... In the glitzy and glamorous world of Bollywood, where often the picture-perfect part makes it to the spotlight, it's often the harsh truth behind the curtain that never meets the eyes. It's usually the personal traumas, turbulent bonds, and ugly interpersonal relationships that are shown with the portrayal of everything good and over the top, until one day the reality comes out. Behind the camera lights and red carpet appearances are stories of emotional rollercoasters and shocking twits, where love can both fall apart and find its way back in the most unexpected places. One such story is of a celebrated actress, Ashwini Kalsekar, who has made her strong presence both on television and in films. Although Aswini was popularly known for her role as a supporting actor and a negative role, she has also made her mark in the film industry with her role in films like Golmaal, All the Best, Singham Returns, and Khakee, mostly starring alongside Ajay Devgn. However, she rose to fame with her role as Maham Anga in the serial Jodha Akbar and went on to portray strong characters in shows like Kasamh Se and Jijaji Chhat Per Hain. Besides her great professional success, her personal life was far from smooth. She first got married in 1998 to a fellow TV actor, Nitish Pandey, but soon that relationship turned sour, and they started having rifts. After 4 years in 2002, the couple parted ways. After the separation, she focused on her career and spent considerable time working on herself. During filming a particular project, she met one of the younger co-stars, Murali Sharma, who was three years her junior. Their initial interactions were cordial, but eventually, they became good friends. With time, their connection grew deeper, and they fell in love with each other. Soon, they got married in a simple wedding in 2009. Later, in an interview, she revealed that she and her husband both shared she and her husband have been each other's critics, always helping each other grow. From her journey of enduring heartbreak to finding love again, her tale is one of resilience, strength, and unscripted turns.

Mithun Chakraborty's Son Claims Bollywood ‘Insulted' His Parents
Last Updated: Mithun Chakraborty's son, Mimoh Chakraborty, recently spoke about how Bollywood's top actors insulted his parents, recalling that it became too much for him. Mahaakshay Chakraborty, son of actors Mithun Chakraborty and Yogeeta Bali, has delivered notable performances in movies like Haunted 3d and Khakee: The Bengal Chapter. Also known as Mimoh Chakraborty, the actor recently opened up about the harsh criticism he faced in the film industry. During a recent interview, Mimoh recalled how Bollywood's top actors insulted his parents, Mithun Chakraborty and Yogeeta Bali. Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Mimoh revealed how he dealt with family criticism and scrutiny. He said, 'The meanest things were like they were making fun of my mom. I would understand for my dad, yes, carrying his legacy. Mere zariye, they were insulting dad, because you cannot pinpoint and say ki Mithun Chakraborty isme kharab tha. It's because his legacy is so strong, toh unko laga chalo Mimoh ke through humlog Mithun Chakraborty ko bhi gaali de denge." The 40-year-old actor added, 'So they weren't writing my name, they said Mithun Chakraborty's son, Mithun da ka beta, so they wanted to feel good, whoever they were. But then it became too much, and it was going to my mother. And there were actors in the industry who did that." Mimoh recalled how many top actors were doing the same, saying, 'Forget normal people, audience, it was people from the industry jo khule aam jaake mom ka mazaak uda rahe the. And it became a little too much for me. Ki yaar mere tak thik hai, dad tak thik hai, but mom pe mat jaao, (it is fine with me, it is fine with dad, but don't go on mother.) You know. But then I know we all go through this." He also talked about the pressure of carrying his father's legacy in the film industry. 'Pehele lagta tha, abhi nahi lagta hai. (I used to feel that before, but not now). Abhi, I am just playing the characters, which I believe in. Because kya hoga, if I go on set thinking that every shot has to be better than my father, woh kabhi nahi ho payega; because he is him. Mithun Chakraborty will always be one Mithun Chakraborty. I can't imitate him. Even if I do, I won't be able to reach his stature, and I just want to be Mimoh," he said. The actor concluded that he wants to be remembered by his own legacy. 'Now, when you see Khakee, I was in it, I cannot compete with my father, and I don't want to compete with him. I just want to be Mimoh," he added. First Published:

Mimoh Chakraborty opens up about being rejection from a film on last minute
Mahaakshay Chakraborty revealed he was dropped from a film just two days before shooting, despite signing the contract and receiving payment. He emphasized that rejection is common in acting and requires resilience. Mimoh continues attending auditions regularly, believing roles suit only characters that align with his true self, like in 'Khakee'. Mithun Chakraborty and Yogeeta Bali 's son Mahaakshay Chakraborty gained recognition for his performances in 'Haunted 3D' and 'Khakee: The Bengal Chapter'. In a recent interview, he shared an experience where he was removed from a film role just two days before filming began. A Last-Minute Drop from a Film In a chat with Bollywood Bubbles, Mimoh shared a deeply hurtful experience of being dropped from a film role at the last moment. He revealed that he had already signed the contract for the film, which felt like a special birthday gift since the offer came just a few days before his birthday and his father was also involved. Mimoh was excited and had even received the signing amount. However, just two days before the scheduled shoot, he received a call informing him that the filmmakers had decided not to include him in the project anymore. This sudden rejection was a tough letdown for him. Facing Rejection Without Explanation He explained that he was removed from the project without any reason, despite having personally signed the contract. At the time, he was in a good mindset, regularly going to the gym and feeling focused, so the sudden rejection came as a shock. Mimoh believes that an actor's heart must be as strong as iron or steel to endure such setbacks because without that resilience, survival in the industry is difficult. He emphasized that rejection is an actor's closest companion and must be accepted as part of the journey. According to him, rejection is different from failure-it simply means not being chosen for a particular role, nothing more. The Reality of Auditions He concluded by saying that he approaches every audition with the same energy and has visited the same casting office multiple times for different projects. He mentioned being called back three to four times for the same project, which gives him hope that he might get the role but often nothing comes of it. Even today, he continues to attend auditions regularly. He stated that his role in Khakee has not changed this reality; auditions remain a part of his life. He explained that during auditions, directors and producers determine if an actor fits the character, and just because he is Mimoh doesn't mean he will suit every role. He believes he can only portray characters that align with who he truly is, like Himel Majumdar in Khakee, which is why he was cast for that role.
