Michigan State loses lone 2027 commitment Khalil Terry
On a day that saw Michigan State secure a couple of commitments in the 2026 recruiting class, the Spartans have lost the lone member of their 2027 recruiting class.
Khalil Terry committed to Michigan State on December 1, 2024. Now, just over six months later, the Spartans have lost their lone commitment in the 2027 recruiting class.
Terry made his commitment to the Spartans when Demetrice Martin was still at the helm of the Spartans defensive back room, but after his departure, a decommitment in this recruitment was inevitable. The Spartans anticipated this blow and will look to replace Terry on their big board for the future recruiting class.
He is a 6-foot, 185 pound defensive back from Tustin, California. Terry ranks as a 4-star prospect and the No. 201 national player in the 2027 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
