BLACKPINK Jisoo's brother accused of secretly filming women, misconduct and more: ‘He didn't have my consent'

Korean celebrities and K-pop idols frequently find themselves in the middle of controversies and sometimes that extend beyond them. This time, it's BLACKPINK member Jisoo whose brother has come under fire. Kim Jung Hoon is facing serious allegations of sexual misconduct and cheating after an online post went viral. As per multiple reports of Korean outlets, the controversy sparked when an anonymous post was shared on BLIND, a social media platform for employees. The post made bold claims about Kim Jung Hoon maintaining multiple relations with women, secretly filming a woman without consent and more. It began a debate on the internet before it was deleted. As per Koreaboo, the post read: 'Secretly Filmed by BLACKPINK Jisoo's Brother. There is only one person involved. It took me a long time to write this. What I went through was so horrific that I couldn't even speak about it for a while. But I can't go on living like this, so I've decided to gather the courage to share my story. Everything in this post is based on my real experience. At first, I trusted him.' "He introduced himself as the brother of a famous celebrity. He spoke well and told me about his dreams, saying he was running a business. At the time, I had no reason to doubt him. I thought he was an impressive person and believed that he genuinely cared about me. But that was a complete misunderstanding. He did not have my consent. One day, we were having sex at his house. It was only later that I found out— He had secretly filmed the intercourse with a hidden camera.' The post further claimed that Jisoo's brother was involved with several women at the same time. He reportedly pressured some into sending explicit videos and 'treated women as sexual objects, disregarding their consent and emotions.' 'I never gave my consent. I didn't know I was being filmed. I am a victim,' the anonymous post also mentioned. The user added that she is open to pursuing legal action against him and ready to go public and also urged others to share their stories too. Jisoo's brother is currently involved in the children's health supplement brand, Biomom. He also partnered with Jisoo to launch the entertainment label Blissoo. While he is yet to react to the allegations, a report of India Today claimed that the singer's agency has briefly responded to the viral post. They said they are 'currently checking the facts.'

Park Bo Gum's 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' in trouble as crew and cast members make serious allegations

' When Life Gives You Tangerines ' has been at the forefront of headlines for its global popularity. Recently, however, many revelations have come forth from alleged cast and crew members of the popular show that highlight the cruel and harsh nature in which the show was actually filmed. Cast and crew take to social media, sharing their 'cruel' experience on the set Recently, various posts have gone viral online calling out alleged damage of rented props and cars, abuse, as well as mistreatment of the extras on the set of the popular K-drama. As per Koreaboo, these posts surfaced one by one, with the initial one being shared by a prop-renting company. In the online posts they alleged that the production crew of the K-drama was extremely rude to them, even after they were called out for their wrongdoings. According to the company, any kind of change to the props is not allowed if it will be long-lasting and potentially damaging. They alleged that the crew was using lacquer to stencil the rented buses, causing permanent change to the props. The post shared that 'Our company staff were stationed on the set to 'facilitate' the use of the props (we really were just there to keep an eye on them) because the production team had zero skills to operate the retro buses or large props that we rented or made for them, and they damaged them all. They were either ignorant or irresponsible. Of course, we took photos of it all and made claims later.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Your Finger Shape Says a Lot About Your Personality, Read Now Tips and Tricks Undo The post continued that instead of accepting their mistakes, the production crew cursed them out. They stated that 'I still remember it. They were caught trying to use lacquer from ironwork stores to stencil the bus, and the person who did it said, 'Can't you just use lacquer thinner to remove it?'' Extras from the show also come forward with new allegations After the previously mentioned post went viral online, many other crew and cast members from the sets of 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' came forward to share their story. The online posts read, 'There's a detested, yet famous, schedule amongst the extras for WLGYT too… They forced extras to shave their heads, and despite being a Netflix production, nothing was provided.' It was also alleged in the online post that the team did not care for anyone beyond the main actors of the show. They shared that 'They didn't want to spend money on anyone else appearing on the show but the main actors, so they tried to scrimp and save LOL. They even neglected the elderly extras in the cold winter and made people starve without providing a food truck or craft table, throwing us to a random restaurant and telling us to eat within 30 minutes…' The posts also alleged that the team at the sets of the K-drama also did not allow most extras to wear insulated clothing in the middle of heavy winters, as 'they said that it would ruin the fit of the costumes'. They continued by saying, 'But it's in the dead of winter. Who would even notice extras in the background? They really treated us like slaves.' While no comment has come forth from the team of 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' so far, these posts online have amassed a lot of support and reaction from the public.

‘Treated us like slaves': IU and Park Bo Gum's When Life Gives You Tangerines production accused of on-set mistreatment

Netflix's K-drama When Life Gives You Tangerines, starring IU and Park Bo Gum, is drawing attention for all the wrong reasons. Multiple individuals who claim to have worked on the production have taken to social media to expose a slew of behind-the-scenes issues. They include hired extras and rental service staff. Their posts, shared through X (formerly Twitter), have since gone viral, with views climbing past 1.5 million. Vintage props damaged due to crew negligence At the center of the controversy are disturbing allegations ranging from equipment damage to the harsh treatment of background actors. A prop rental company, which had supplied retro buses and large set pieces for the show, revealed that their vehicles were mishandled by the production crew. According to their statement, lacquer spray was improperly applied to a vintage bus, risking irreversible damage. One staff member recounted the incident with frustration, 'The production team had zero skills to operate the retro buses or large props that we rented or made for them, and they damaged them all. They were either ignorant or irresponsible,' as quoted by Koreaboo. They further revealed, 'They were caught trying to use lacquer from ironwork stores to stencil the bus. The ignorant brat who thought that lacquer thinner is a magic potion that can cleanly erase just only the lacquer spray went around the set acting a fool.' The rental company also claimed they had to assign personnel to supervise the production team. It was not to assist creatively, but to monitor the use of the rented items due to the crew's lack of professionalism and operational skill. Basic amenities and comfort denied to non-lead staff However, the growing outrage doesn't stop at damaged property. After the initial exposé gained traction online, several extras who had worked on the series came forward with their own stories of mistreatment. Their claims painted a troubling picture of poor working conditions and disregard for the wellbeing of non-lead staff. One extra alleged that background actors were forced to shave their heads for period accuracy without prior consent or compensation. They reported not being provided with warm clothing during winter shoots. They were also denied the ability to wear inner thermal layers because it would supposedly disrupt the visual silhouette of their costumes. They stated, 'Who would even notice extras in the background? They really treated us like slaves.' Further complaints included lack of basic amenities such as food trucks or craft tables, and minimal concern for comfort and health. The extras emphasized that the production team prioritized main cast members while cutting costs in every possible way for the rest of the crew. Production team yet to respond Meanwhile, the production team behind When Life Gives You Tangerines has yet to issue a formal response. With accusations stacking up by the hour, viewers are calling on Netflix and the show's producers to investigate the allegations.
