Dax Shepard posts naked photo of wife Kristen Bell in honour of her first Emmy nomination
Actor Dax Shepard celebrated his wife Kristen Bell's Emmy Award nomination by sharing a cheeky nude snap of her on social media. 'People might not know everything that happens behind the scenes in order to create an Emmy nominated performance like Kristen's,' the Armchair Expert podcast host captioned in his Instagram post Tuesday. 'This may or may not have been a part of her training, but it felt right. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!' The image featured the Nobody Wants This star wearing blue patterned socks on a brick patio as she held a downward dog leg lift. Shepard attempted to make the photo Instagram-friendly by editing a red box over his wife's derrière. But it seems as though the Frozen star didn't mind her husband's cheeky social media post, as she wasted no time re-sharing the image to her Instagram Story. Earlier that day, she took to Instagram to share a snap of a Zoom call during which she learned of her Emmy nod. The actress scored a nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series for portraying Joanne in the hit Netflix series, Nobody Wants This, which has been greenlit for Season 2. Bell's co-star, Adam Brody, was also nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series for his role as single rabbi Noah Roklov. The show also picked up a nod for Outstanding Comedy Series alongside Abbott Elementary, The Bear, Hacks, Only Murders In The Building, Shrinking, The Studio and What We Do In The Shadows. It's not the first time Shepard had shared the cheeky nude snap with his social media followers. Back in 2021, the actor posted the same pic on Instagram in honour of Mother's Day. 'Mom'ing has changed since I was a kid … and I'm here for it,' Shepard wrote on Instagram at the time. 'Look at this specimen: kind, patient, nurturing, hilarious, Uber talented, generous, hard AND soft. My girls and I hit the MegaMom Lottery in spectacular fashion. We are so grateful and so in love with you @kristenanniebell.' The pair struck up a romance after meeting at a dinner party in 2007. They went on to tie the knot in 2013, and have since welcomed two daughters.

Awards season isn't over just yet, with the Primetime Emmy Awards set to take place this September. The ceremony will be held at the Peacock Theatre (formerly the Nokia Theatre) in Los Angeles and will be hosted by American comedian Nate Bargatze. The Emmys recently unveiled their list of nominees, and fans were surprised to discover that several stars had never been nominated before, despite long-standing careers in the industry. To mark the occasion, we've compiled some of the actors' reactions to receiving their first-ever Emmy nominations. Here they are: 1. Harrison Ford It's absolutely baffling that Harrison Ford has never received an Emmy nomination until now. At 83 years old, he's the oldest nominee on this list, earning a nod in the Best Supporting Actor category for his role in the Apple TV+ comedy 'Shrinking'. While Ford hasn't publicly reacted to the news, the streaming platform shared a humorous clip from the series in which his character says, 'What, you want me to pull my pants down and make my ass clap?' as if responding to the nomination itself. 2. Kristen Bell Despite starring in and being praised for her acclaimed work in 'Veronica Mars' and 'The Good Place,' actress Kristen Bell has never received an Emmy nomination. In celebration of his first Emmy nomination, the actor gives an answer to everyone's questions: Will there be a second season to the show, and will he be in 'The Batman 2'? He told Deadline and Variety: 'There is absolutely nothing in process. There's 'Batman 2″, which I haven't read the script for yet. But I'm very close to it. I can't wait. I'm going to have to block out a few hours when that happens and really put the kettle on and put a nice cup of tea on and pay attention.' 6. Chloë Sevigny Known for her work in independent films with controversial or experimental themes, Chloë Sevigny finally received her well-earned recognition with an Emmy Award nomination in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role in 'Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.' Martin Scorsese Coming in second to oldest first-time nominee is Martin Scorsese, who finally earned his first Emmy nomination at 82 years old. The legendary filmmaker is nominated in the Guest Actor category for his appearance in 'The Studio'. His daughter, Francesca Scorsese, shared a screenshot of their FaceTime call, capturing her father's overwhelmed reaction upon hearing the news. The 44-year-old actress is up for the Best Actress in a Comedy Series prize, for her role in romantic comedy series Nobody Wants This, at this year's Emmy Awards. Kristen celebrated her nod by stripping off completely naked - apart from some knee-high blue socks - and performing a one-legged downward dog yoga move. Dax, 50, captured the moment, and shared it with his 4.1 million Instagram followers. This may or may not have been a part of her training, but it felt right. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! (sic)" Fortunately for Kristen, Dax include a red box to cover up his wife's derriere. Dax's snap has gone down well on social media. It has been liked more than 122,000 times, and several stars have commented on the nude picture. Actress and singer Gwyneth Paltrow wrote: "Oh my God, Dax" Former The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev was a big fan of the picture, writing: "Hahahaha yesssss go girl ! suns out buns out for that Emmy!!! (sic)" While Kristen is clearly delighted about being nominated for the accolade, the star could have a bum deal on the night - because she faces stiff competition to land the prize. Kristen will face Hacks star Jean Smart, who won the same prize at last year's Emmy Awards, as well as The Bear's Ayo Edebiri, who is nominated for a second year in a row. The trio will also be up against The Residence's Uzo Aduba, and Abbott Elementary star Quinta Brunson. Dax and Kristen have been married since 2013, and have two daughters, Lincoln, 12, and Delta, 10.
