Chevy Launches a Killer 2025 Equinox EV Lease Offer

If you have been thinking about getting into the EV world, but don't want to make a long commitment by financing one, this aggressive lease deal is a great opportunity to get into the world of electrified motoring. The Equinox EV is available for $289 per month for 24 months with $3,399 due at signing. This deal is an ultra-low-mileage offer with an allotment of 20,000 miles per year. The lease price is based on an Equinox EV 2WD LT with an MSRP of $34,995. It should be noted that there is a charge of 25 cents per mile if the vehicle is returned with more than 20,000 miles. However, you can choose to purchase the vehicle at lease end for an agreed-upon price before signing the lease. This is a national lease deal, so it should be the same regardless of your location. To be sure, check your local pricing here. If you live on the West Coast, you can get a sweeter deal for $299 per month (for 24 months) with just $2,739 due at signing. For the Dallas area, you can get the same spec Equinox EV for $289 a month with $2,399 due at signing. In the upper Midwest area, it costs $319 per month with $3,299 due at signing. Finally, in Manhattan, look for the same model, but at a lower monthly payment of $289 per month with $2,399 due at signing. Since the Chevrolet Bolt is on hiatus, the Equinox EV has taken its place as the brand's entry-level electric offering. Although it shares the same name as its gas-powered counterpart, the two vehicles are different. The base Equinox EV features a single electric motor that drives the front wheels and makes 220 horsepower. Higher trim levels feature a dual-motor setup that delivers 300 horsepower, but the additional drive and power come at an added cost. The base trim level also offers the most driving range, with up to 319 miles on a single charge, per the EPA estimates. By spreading the $3,399 down payment for the national lease offer (approximately $141), the estimated payment for a $0 down lease comes out to around $430 per month. Note that this $0 down figure is an estimation. Official $0 down offers from Chevrolet may differ based on their specific calculation, credit approval, and potential money factor adjustments. Rob Gronkowski Shares Rough Criticism About Giants Rookie Abdul Carter

New York Giants rookie edge rusher Abdul Carter has legitimate superstar potential moving into the future. After the team selected him with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft, Carter has made waves in the media as he searches for his jersey number at the NFL level. Carter made major storylines by showing interest in wearing the retired No. 56 jersey number of NFL legend Lawrence Taylor. That interest was quickly denied by Taylor. Advertisement 'Get another number," Taylor said in response. "I don't care if it's double zero, and then make it famous.' Now, another former NFL superstar has spoken out with criticism about Carter gunning for Taylor's jersey number. Former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers star tight end Rob Gronkowski issued his thoughts on the matter. He was not a fan of Carter asking for the legendary Giants number. 'Was he serious, asking for LT's number? Yeah, you were a high draft pick, but LT is an absolute legend," Gronkowski said. "The best to do it, one of the best defenders of all time… like, you gotta prove yourself. That's crazy just asking for LT's number and I'm glad that LT shut him down like that.' Another New York legend, quarterback Phil Simms, has hinted that he would be fine with Carter wearing his No. 11 jersey number in the NFL. Carter wore the No. 11 jersey during his Penn State career in college. Rob Camporeale-Imagn Images Carter is coming off of an impressive run with the Nittany Lions. In the three years he played at Penn State, he totaled 172 tackles, 41 tackles for loss, 23 sacks, five forced fumbles, an interception, and 13 defended passes. Rob Gronkowski goes off on Giants rookie Abdul Carter's ‘crazy' Lawrence Taylor number request

Rob Gronkowski is floored at Abdul Carter's daring request. The former Penn State pass rusher, whom the Giants took No. 3 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, was in pursuit of Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor's No. 56 jersey to wear for his rookie season. The bold ask rubbed Gronkowski the wrong way. AP 'Was he serious asking for LT's number?' the four-time Super Bowl champ said on a recent episode of the 'Dudes on Dudes' podcast he hosts with former Patriots teammate Julian Edelman. 'Yeah you were a high draft pick but LT is an absolute legend. The best to do it. One of the best defenders of all time. Like you gotta prove yourself. That's crazy just asking for LT's number. And I'm glad that LT shut him down like that.' Gronkowski is referring to Taylor telling The Post's Steve Serby that Carter should use a different number. Advertisement 'I know he would love to wear that number, but hey, I think it's retired,' Taylor said. 'Get another number, I don't care if it's double zero, and then make it famous.' 'That was such an LT response. Go make your own freaking number kid,' Edelman continued on the podcast. 'Can we read the room? And it's not even the room, it's the football galaxy. The fact that he even asked, that's crazy to me. Maybe he'll go make another one. And people say oh the [No.] 11, the 11 thing. But they give everyone 11 at Penn State but no one ever puts on the 56.' 5 Rob Gronkowski shares his thoughts over Abdul Carter wanting Lawrence Taylor's Giants jersey. My stance don't change, LT is the [goat emoji] nothing but respect…,' Carter tweeted a day following Taylor's decision. 'This just gonna make me work even harder!! I love it.' Carter wore No. 11 at Penn State, the same number worn by former Nittany Lions linebackers LaVar Arrington and Micah Parsons. 5 New York Giants great Lawrence Taylor reacts after he rings the bell before the start of the first quarter of the Giants and Washington Commanders game in East Rutherford, N.J. 'I told some of my friends and people around me, 'I'd let him have it in a second. Can you just help it a little or make it better?'' Simms quipped on FanDuel TV. 'I think it would be a lot of fun. It wouldn't bother me.' NFL rookie denied by another legend after being slammed by Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman for 'crazy' request

The hits just keep on coming for New York Giants rookie Abdul Carter as he continues his search for a number to wear in his first NFL season. Carter, the Giants third overall pick, was denied the opportunity to wear No. 56 last week when the NFL legend who wore it before him turned down his request. Now, he won't be able to wear the same number he had in college after the family of another Giants legend said no. The number 11 at Penn State is a heralded number that has been worn only five times since 1997. Notable wearers of that jersey in that period include LaVar Arrington, NaVorro Bowman, Micah Parsons, and Carter. So after being denied No. 56, Carter considered wearing the No. 11 in the NFL as well. But he hit a roadblock there too. No. 11 has also been retired in honor of former quarterback Phil Simms. While Simms said that he'd be fine with Carter wearing the number, Simms' family reportedly out-voted him. It comes after Hall-of-Famer Lawrence Taylor denied the request to wear his retired No. 56. That request was mocked on the 'Dudes on Dudes' podcast, hosted by former New England Patriots stars Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman. The two Super Bowl winners were shocked that Carter would even consider asking for the number of the Giants legend. 'Was he serious asking for LT's number?,' Gronkowski remarked. 'Yeah, you were a high draft pick, but LT is an absolute legend. 'The best to do it. One of the best defenders of all time. Like, you gotta prove yourself. 'That's crazy. Just asking for LT's number. And I'm glad that LT shut him down like that.' Edelman agreed: 'That was such a LT response. "Go make your own freaking number, kid."' The receiver continued: 'Can we read a room? And it's not even the room, it's the football galaxy. The fact that he even asked, that's crazy to me. Maybe he'll go make another one. 'And people say, oh, the 11 thing. But they give everyone 11 at Penn State. No one ever puts on the 56.' Carter joked about his predicament with a post to X: 'Damn at this point imma be out there with just my last name on my jersey, no number.'

Pair of ex-Patriots slam Abdul Carter for Lawrence Taylor number request

Pair of ex-Patriots slam Abdul Carter for Lawrence Taylor number request What uniform number will New York Giants rookie edge rusher Abdul Carter wear this year? Well, we know it won't be Nos. 56 or 11 as they are retired for Lawrence Taylor and Phil Simms, respectively, and neither legend has granted Carter permission. Carter will have to choose another number. He wore No. 11 at Penn State and bandied about taking Taylor's number, but the NFL icon told him he had to make his own legacy. During a recent episode of the Dudes on Dudes podcast, two former New England Patriots champions, Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman, agreed it was egregious of Carter to even ask for a retired number. The precedent was set, however, last year when the Giants and the family of Ray Flaherty granted top pick Malik Nabers their permission to wear Flaherty's retired No. 1 jersey. "Was he serious asking for LT's number?" Gronkowski said. "Yeah, you were a high draft pick, but LT is an absolute legend... The best to do it. One of the best defenders of all time. Like, you gotta prove yourself. "That's crazy. Just asking for LT's number. And I'm glad that LT shut him down like that." Edelman was in agreement. "That was such a LT response. 'Go make your own freaking number, kid.'" The matter appears to be closed at the moment. Carter will have to find a new number to wear here with the Giants. We'll find out soon as the Giants will hold their rookie minicamp next weekend.
