Roma and Brighton negotiate Ferguson's buy option
This could be a decisive week for Evan Ferguson at Roma. The Brighton striker has already given his approval to a move to the capital and is now waiting for the two clubs to reach a final agreement before the deal can be finalized. Advertisement Roma has long since finalized the terms of the agreement with the player, but a compromise with Brighton remains to be reached, particularly on two aspects: the buy option and the player's financial valuation. As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma is currently aiming for a loan deal with an option to buy, while the English club is insisting on including an obligation to buy. Brighton wants certainty regarding a permanent transfer, while the Roman club is seeking time to evaluate the terms before committing to a permanent deal. The financial figure also remains the subject of intense discussion. Roma has settled on a €25 million offer, deemed adequate by management based on the player's current value. However, Brighton continues to demand a sum between €40-45 million.
