Police seek dirt biker wanted for ‘driving erratically and stunt driving'
A dirt bike tire is pictured in this stock image. (cottonbro studio/ LaSalle police officers are asking for the public's help to identify the operator of a white dirt bike. Police say the dirt biker fled from officers on Wednesday. There have been multiple reports of the operator driving erratically and stunt driving on residential roads. The dirt biker is seen during evening hours on a white dirt bike without a licence plate and wearing a black helmet. Anyone with information that can assist in identifying the operator is asked to contact us at 519-969-5210 or anonymous information can be sent to Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477.

LaSalle driver charged with going over twice speed limit
A LaSalle man is charged with stunt driving after police say he was caught going over double the posted speed limit. A LaSalle police officer conducting traffic enforcement stopped a vehicle on Bouffard Road on Saturday morning, shortly after 10 a.m. Police say it was travelling 131 kilometres per hour in a posted 50km/hr zone. The 49 year-old man was charged with stunt driving. His driver's licence was suspended for 30 days, his vehicle was impounded for 14 days, and he'll appear in court at a later date to answer to the charge.

Woman charged after hitting curb multiple times: LaSalle police
LaSalle police say they have charged a 29-year-old woman after she hit the roadside curb multiple times. Shortly before 1 a.m. on Saturday, a patrol officer says they saw the vehicle striking the curb on Front Road. The officer initiated a traffic stop. As a result of the investigation, a LaSalle woman was arrested and charged with Operation While Impaired, and Operating with Over 80mgs of Alcohol. Her driver's licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for 7 days. The woman will appear in court at a later date to answer to the charges.
