If you are stuck at the class selection screen, this tier list should help. We've broken it down into two parts – one for PvE and another for PvP – so you can pick the perfect class depending on how you want to play. Here's how the classes rank for that: Top Tier (T0) Warlock – The best solo class for PvE. Has high damage, lifesteal, and crowd control. Can clear content alone with ease. Scytheguard – Great for group content. Supports the team with heals and buffs, but also deals good damage. Elementalist – Massive AoE and elemental damage. Works best in a party, but very squishy. Strong Tier (T1) Gunner – Good balance of AoE and single-target damage. Great at breaking shields. Bounty Hunter – Fast, mobile, and powerful. Can kite enemies easily and works well solo or in a party. Magiblade – High mobility and solid DPS over time. Great for solo play but takes time to master. Cloudstrider – Has a mix of skills for every situation. Slightly hard to play and doesn't survive hits well. Average Tier (T2) Blademaiden – Big burst damage and good kiting. But long cooldowns and weak boss damage hold her back. Magician – Can do a bit of everything but very hard to play. Other DPS classes are easier and more effective. Low Tier (T3) Starbreaker – Has burst and can tank, but long cooldowns and low sustained DPS hurt in PvE. Berserker – Needs low HP to shine, which makes him risky. Works better in PvP than in PvE. Bounty Hunter – Fast, hard to catch, and all his skills are tough to dodge. Perfect for PvP. Magician – Balanced, tricky, and full of combos. One of the best PvP classes, but very hard to master. Strong Tier (T1) Starbreaker – Burst-focused and easy to use. Great melee fighter in PvP. Scytheguard – Tanky with good damage. Can't match the top PvP picks but holds her own. Cloudstrider – Fast and flashy, but needs skill and has low defense. Magiblade – Excellent burst and mobility. Hard to master but strong in the right hands. Average Tier (T2) Gunner – Good damage and range. But once enemies get close, things fall apart. Warlock – Solid crowd control and combos. Still, some classes are just easier and more powerful. Low Tier (T3) Blademaiden – Cool skills and damage, but poor mobility and long cooldowns make PvP tough. Elementalist – Very weak in 1v1. Long casting time and low mobility are a big problem. Swordsman – Offers Magiblade and Berserker. Magiblade is smooth but tricky. Berserker is simple and brutal. Puppeteer – Unlocks Scytheguard and Blademaiden. Scytheguard supports teams. Blademaiden fights from range and uses a companion. Magister – Has Warlock and Magician. Warlock is self-sustaining and powerful in PvE. Magician is the hardest class but super flexible

Watch Live: SpaceX back to work with Falcon 9 launch from KSC this morning
The day after losing another Starship during a test launch, SpaceX was back to normal work with a Falcon 9 launch from the Space Coast. The workhorse rocket sent up another 27 Starlink satellites from Kennedy Space Center Launch Pad 39-A at 9:30 a.m. The first-stage booster is making its 19th flight and will attempt a recovery landing downrange on the droneship Just Read the Instructions stationed in the Atlantic. The launch was the 45th from the Space Coast in 2025 with all but two coming from SpaceX. Falcon 9 and the larger Falcon Heavy rockets remain the reliable rocket choices for SpaceX as it continues to develop the Starship and Super Heavy that flies for now from the company's test launch site in Texas. The ninth suborbital test flight launched Tuesday using a previously flown booster for the first time. While the upper stage Starship managed to survive longer than the previous two test flights, which both disintegrated while flying just south of Florida on missions flown in January and March, SpaceX still lost contact with this mission's Starship after losing control on its way to the Indian Ocean. The company plans to launch from two sites on the Space Coast once it becomes operational.

‘Torpedo man': Torpedoman's Mate Chief gives an inside look at USS Pasadena's torpedo tube
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Submarines are nuclear powerhouses due to the torpedoes onboard that can be shot deep into the ocean at enemies. These vessels are extremely complicated, said Torpedoman's Mate Chief (TMC), Chief Petty Officer of Torpedo Division on the USS Pasadena, Craig Dunlap. 'Our job as torpedo men, we're responsible for all of the weapon's launchers, the countermeasure launchers, the heavy weapons, the heavy ordinance, the countermeasures, the small arms, everything on the boat that's supposed to go boom.' Even with complicated equipment, a lot of the fixing is done the same way any handyman fixes something broken. Submarine living: Close quarters & good food 'I like to say part of my job is hitting things with wrenches to make them go, so we do a lot of wrench turning, operating and maintaining mechanical equipment with hydraulics, high-pressure air, sea water, low-pressure air, and so on.' With 1,640 buttons and switches on the Weapon Launch Console, Dunlap is never bored. One of the craziest jobs he is expected to do is climb into the torpedo tube if something goes wrong. 'Sometimes it'll snag, and it won't leave the tube correctly, so when you go shut the mussel door, it's still inside the tube. And at that point, you have to drain the tube, quickly open the breach door before it fills back up again because it's not a perfect seal, and then one of the TMs has to crawl down to the end of the tube to cut that flexhose with a manual hydraulic cutter.' These are practice torpedoes because it's been decades since an actual torpedo was launched in battle for the United States. 'The last time we fired a war shot in anger, in a time of war, was in World War II.' Dunlap is living his dream and making a difference, which is important to him. 'I get to make a difference. I'm doing things with the people around me that make a difference, and what the mission that the submarine does, it moves nations.' Popular indoor trampoline park to close Massachusetts location
Altitude Trampoline Park on Route 1 in North Attleborough will close its doors permanently Saturday, May 31. The sudden announcement was made by General Manager Victor Rodriguez Thursday via a Facebook post. The closure is said to be due to circumstances beyond the control of the employees at the park. 'This is something that has come to us pretty quickly,' Rodriguez said in the Facebook post. 'It is something not done by the amazing people that work here at this park.' Altitude, which opened in North Attleborough in 2017, has multiple locations around the country. There are several in Massachusetts, including Franklin, Marlborough, Avon, Holyoke and Billerica. Each location has multiple attractions for kids to participate in, including extreme dodgeball, foam pit, rock wall and trapeze. It is also a hot spot for birthday parties and events. Rodriguez is the general manager of the Holyoke location, as well. Based on the company website, it does not say that any other locations are being shut down. Coming with such short notice, Rodriguez said he apologies for any inconvenience the North Attleborough location closure might cause. 'I will do everything that I can to possibly help you in terms of providing any services that I can,' he said. Rodriguez said he will also be reaching out to those who scheduled parties after June 1 to issue refunds. Feeling as though he has been a part of a lot of the community members' lives, he said in the Facebook video that it unfortunately has to come to an end. 'I am very grateful to have been part of so many families' lives, for those who have worked with me, for those who have come here and jumped with us … It is a very very sad day,' Rodriguez said. As he got emotional during the end of the near 6-minute video, Rodriguez explained how the love and support from the community toward the trampoline park has helped him provide for his family. 'I just wanted to thank you all for everything that you have given us,' Rodriguez said. 'It means so much to me.' 'Our managers and staff have been great through seven years of blood, sweat and tears, trying to make this place a piece of this community,' Rodriguez said. 'We've loved every single minute of being here.' As the trampoline parks come to a close, a new one, Launch Trampoline Park, will be opening up right down the road on South Washington Street in the Target plaza. Launch is located where the previous 'Babies R Us' was. 'Launch is opening up right next to us, I hope they can provide a great experience for you all because all we want is for kids to be able to be kids,' Rodriguez said. 'And I don't care where they jump, I just want them to have fun.' An opening date for Launch has not been announced. 25 Investigates: Massachusetts launching free teacher trainings focused on literacy
Massachusetts is facing a crisis in literacy, and now there are new efforts to train up educators across the state. The Departments of Elementary and Secondary Education and Early Education and Care are launching 'Literacy Launch Institutes,' which will focus on Pre-K through third-grade reading. As 25 Investigates has reported, according to the National Center for Education Statistics, in 2024, 60% of Massachusetts 4th graders were reading below grade level. The numbers are even more alarming for black and brown students, as well as children considered economically disadvantaged. 25 Investigates: Parents have new tools to understand literacy instruction in their schools On Wednesday, the state announced the trainings to help teachers get the tools they need to get students back on track. In a press release, Gov. Maura Healey said, 'It's crucial for our teachers to be equipped with the materials and training they need to support all of their students, This summer, these institutes will give hundreds of teachers and school leaders access to cutting-edge training in early literacy best practices at no cost.' This August, the state is offering four full days of training for up to 600 educators at no charge. The trainings will be held in Devens and Foxboro. Interested educators can apply here. Massachusetts-based HILL for Literacy will run the institutes. School teams that participate this summer will be eligible to apply for additional support throughout the 2025-26 school year. 25 Investigates has also reported on new online resources to help families better understand reading instruction in their district. Created by the Massachusetts Education Equity Partnership [MEEP] and EdTrust, the Massachusetts Early Literacy Dashboard is designed to help parents and caretakers navigate the system and understand what's happening in their school district. On the site, you can find your district in a drop-down menu. Then you'll identify literacy score trends and how their reading curriculum stacks up, and if the district has invested in improving that curriculum.
