Why LeAnn Rimes Teeth Fell Out Onstage

If you've been online at all in the last week, then you probably saw a few headlines about LeAnn Rimes' teeth falling out during a recent performance. The country superstar initially talked about the incident, which took place during a performance at Bow, Washington's Skagit Casino Resort, in a candid video posted to Instagram. 'I was onstage, and in the middle of 'One Way Ticket,' I feel something pop in my mouth,' she explained. 'And if you've been around, you know I've had a lot of dental surgeries, and I have a bridge in the front, and it fell out in the middle of my song.' 'I ran to the side of the stage and put it back in, like popped it back in, and then just went on singing. And then I just had to get real with everybody and tell them exactly what was happening, or else I would have had to walk offstage. For the rest of the show, I was literally like this, pushing my teeth in, like, every couple lines, and singing.' Obviously, having your teeth fall out is anyone's worst nightmare — especially if you're a world-famous performer giving it your all onstage. In a new interview with Flow Stage, LeAnn got extremely real about the initial dental surgery that led to her unfortunate incident. In the interview, LeAnn revealed that she got veneers when she was 16 and had them redone years later — but the dentist who redid her veneers didn't bond them correctly, so she later underwent multiple oral surgeries and root canals. 'I look at my pictures from that time, and my face was so different — it was just so swollen,' LeAnn said. 'Oh, it was awful. I was in chronic pain for, like, two-and-a-half years.' Sounds awful — but it also seems like she's being a good sport about the whole situation and is looking on the bright side. 'I don't usually have firsts in my career. That was a first and hopefully a last,' she said in her IG video. 'Get ready for something to fly out. If you catch them, please return them.' At the very least, it's good to know!

LeAnn Rimes reveals years of dental struggles after veneers mishap during live show

LeAnn Rimes suffered with "chronic pain" for years due to poor dental treatment. The 42-year-old singer - who made headlines last month when her dental veneers fell out during mid-song during a concert - first had them at around the age of 16, before another dentist didn't bond the veneers correctly while redoing them at a later stage, which resulted in years of oral surgeries and multiple root canals. Speaking to Flow Space magazine, she said: "I look at my pictures from that time, and my face was so different — it was just so swollen. 'Oh, it was awful. I was in chronic pain for, like, two-and-a-half years.' The Can't Fight The Moonlight singer previously revealed to her fans that she was diagnosed with high-grade dysplasia last year. The discovery was made when a routine Pap smear after a routine Pap smear found pre-cancerous cells in her cervix. She decided to be candid with her social media followers to try and encourage a more honest conversation about female health. She added: 'I just feel like it's not something we talk about, and something so many women feel so much shame around. Meanwhile, LeAnn has also sought to get rid of the stigma around perimenopause, having first experience her own symptoms in her late 30s. The star - who takes hormone replacement therapy (HRT) - revealed: "I thought I was crazy for about two years. I was waking up at 3 a.m. all the time, and having really, really heavy anxiety.' After speaking to The Menopause Reset author and chiropractic doctor Mindy Pelz, she was encouraged to speak to her husband Eddie Cibrian about the issue. LeAnn revealled: 'She was like, 'Look, I've seen marriages literally implode over this… because no one really explains it to [men].' 'She was always telling me, 'If you're feeling something, express it to him.' And I do; I'm really vocal about it.' Eddie, 52, admitted to the outlet in an email that he is "one of the lucky ones" because of how frank his wife is about any issues. He said: 'She really committed to learning and seeking out help early on. 'We were never in a position wondering why these things were happening. We knew the why, which is a huge step for most couples.'

LeAnn took to social media to regale her fans with "a little story" about the onstage mishap that left her in a state of panic. Now 42, the singer who once dislocated her jaw mid-concert in 2014, recounted to her Instagram followers how her dental bridge 'popped out' while performing at the Skagit Valley Casino and Resort in Bow, Washington. Describing the ordeal as "the most epic example of how the show must go on" she uploaded a video saying: "We're going to do a little story time about how the show must go on. And this is the most epic example of how the show must go on." LeAnn narrated the dramatic incident: "So last night, I was on stage in the middle of One Way Ticket. I feel something pop in my mouth. And if you've been around, you know I've had a lot of dental surgeries, and I have a bridge in the front. It fell out in the middle of my song last night.", reports the Mirror. The 'Can't Fight The Moonlight' star then explained how she momentarily panicked and asked the audience to "hold on" before dashing offstage. "I ran to the side of the stage and put it back in, like popped it back in," she said, revealing that she carried on with the show as if nothing happened. LeAnn concluded by saying she had to be upfront with her audience about the situation to avoid having to leave the stage: "I just had to get real with everybody and tell them exactly what was happening or else I would have had to walk off stage. "And so, for the rest of the show, I was literally like this pushing my teeth in like every couple lines and singing." She quipped that although there are few career firsts left for her, this teeth mishap certainly topped the list, adding, "And hopefully a last," and expressing hope that her pearly whites would stay put for the night, "I hope my teeth stay in tonight. We shall see." She warned the audience with a laugh, "The front row, get ready for something to fly out. If you catch them please return them." LeAnn Rimes reveals that her teeth fell out mid-performance

LeAnn Rimes' teeth fell out during the middle of a concert. The 42-year-old singer was performing on stage in Washington last weekend when she felt a "pop" and realised that her front teeth - which have been replaced by a dental bridge - had fallen out in the middle of a rendition of her song One Way Ticket. LeAnn "panicked" and fled the stage in an attempt to put the teeth back in her mouth but ultimately had to own up her to dental drama to the audience as she manually held in her teeth for the remainder of the gig. In a TikTok post, the Can't Fight the Moonlight hitmaker said: "In the middle of One Way Ticket I feel something pop. "If you've been around, you'll know I've had a lot of dental surgeries and I have a bridge in front and it fell out in the middle of my song... to which I panicked and said, 'Hold on!' and ran to the side of the stage and put it in." LeAnn admitted that she had no choice but to "get real with everybody" about the unfortunate incident. She said: "For the rest of the show, I was literally pushing my teeth in, like, every couple of lines and singing. "By the way, I never knew how many Fs and Ths and Shs I have in my songs, especially Can't Fight the Moonlight." Rimes explained that her teeth actually fell out for a second time when she performed the theme song to the movie Coyote Ugly. She said: "It was the most epic experience ever. I don't usually have firsts in my career. That was a first and hopefully a last." LeAnn first found success as a country singer when she was a child and previously explained that she is more interested in having "fun" in her career than achieving chart success at this stage of her life. She told HELLO! magazine in 2023: "At this point, it's more about, 'What do I want to create? What lights me up and what's fun?' "If I do something I love and the achievements come along with it, great. "I couldn't be more proud of where I'm at as a songwriter, the messages I'm conveying and the mark I'm leaving with my music. I think it's more powerful than ever."
