According to the Islamic history, Hajer was looking for water to quench the thirst of her son. Therefore, she ran between the hills of Safa and Marwa. By the end of her seventh round, water miraculously sprouted from underground and kept flowing until Hajer said 'Zam Zam' which means stop flowing. Israel's Secret Settlement Push: 22 New Outposts Approved Despite International Law
In a move that has sparked international concern, the Israeli Security Cabinet has secretly approved the establishment of 22 illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank, according to reports from Israeli media outlet Ynet. The clandestine decision, made approximately two weeks ago, includes controversial plans to resurrect the settlements of Homesh and Sa-Nur, both of which were dismantled during Israel's 2005 unilateral 'disengagement plan' from Gaza. These settlements are slated for construction in what Israel refers to as 'Judea and Samaria,' a biblical term for the West Bank that is not recognized by international bodies. Israeli Minister Smotrich Announces 22 New Settlements in Occupied #WestBank, Drawing Global Condemnation Read more: #GazaGenocide — Leaders MENA (@leadersmena) May 29, 2025 In this context, Israeli media reported that all new settlements 'are being established based on a long-term strategic vision aimed at strengthening Israeli control over the land, preventing the establishment of a Palestinian state, and establishing settlement development reserves for the coming decades.' Commenting on the decision, Katz said that it 'strengthens control in the West Bank and constitutes a crushing response to Palestinian terrorism that seeks to undermine and weaken settlements.' Israeli Security Minister Yoav Gallant and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich jointly submitted the initiative, signaling high-level support within the Israeli government.

INTERVIEW: Syrian Pilgrim Aziza Shares His Inspiring Hajj Journey
Each Hajj season brings renewed stories and emotions that this spiritual journey leaves in the hearts of the pilgrims. In a special interview, Leaders met Syrian pilgrim Mr. Mohammad Aziza, who shared the unique details of his spiritual experience and the emotions that overwhelmed him as he circumambulated the holiest places on Earth. His story is one of faith and patience, reflecting the challenge and hope experienced by many Syrians on their path to Hajj. How were preparations before traveling to holy lands? The preparations were conducted with a high level of efficiency and organization, both administratively and logistically. All necessary procedures were followed with precision and care—from preparing official documents to organizing awareness meetings for pilgrims. Spiritually, the preparations were even deeper and richer, with guiding lectures and sessions introducing the rituals of Hajj, which helped prepare the soul to perform this great act of worship with reverence and serenity. I'm grateful to those who organized this blessed journey for their attention to the smallest details. Did you face any difficulties obtaining the Hajj permit or visa? Thankfully, I didn't face any notable difficulties. The organizers of the Hajj program handled all the legal and administrative steps related to obtaining the visa smoothly and professionally. The support in this area was clear, which made me feel comfortable and reassured throughout the travel preparation process. What was your experience upon arriving in Mecca? What was your first feeling? It was an unforgettable experience in every sense of the word—truly one of the most beautiful moments of my life. The sight of Mecca was overwhelming, a mix of awe and tranquility, and a deep sense of sanctity. I felt like I was floating above the earth, stripped of all material concerns, living purely in spirit. It was a moment where tears merged with prayers, and longing blended with peace. Did the organizing bodies provide sufficient support in terms of guidance and healthcare? Yes, the support provided by the organizing authorities was of the highest standard. Religious and instructional guidance was offered by experienced mentors who ensured pilgrims were well-informed about every aspect of the rituals. Medical care was consistently available, with medical teams and emergency centers stationed in multiple locations, providing a sense of security and confidence throughout the journey. My impressions were filled with spiritual emotions, as if I had left the material world and entered one of peace and tranquility. I felt my body walking, but my soul was soaring in another realm. Everything around me reminded me of the grandeur of this major pillar of Islam, filling me with awe and humility before the majesty of the moment. Honestly, the organization was excellent. Great efforts were made to provide the best possible service for pilgrims. Even when issues or shortages occurred, they were addressed quickly and effectively. Transportation was managed in a way that considered the huge number of pilgrims, and the accommodations were comfortable and appropriately prepared for the occasion. How do you assess role of the Saudi authorities in ensuring safety and security of pilgrims? I deeply appreciate this role—they ensured a strong but non-intrusive security presence that was reassuring. Security personnel treated pilgrims with respect and patience, despite the immense pressure and crowd sizes. Additionally, the security measures were well thought out, and I felt very safe throughout all the stages of performing the rituals. What is your opinion on the healthcare services provided during the Hajj season? I believe the healthcare services offered during Hajj were excellent and reflect the significant efforts by the concerned authorities. Comprehensive and free medical care was provided across all locations, with advanced readiness to handle emergencies. Moreover, the spread of health centers and hospitals helped ensure quick response times. These services reflect the Kingdom's strong commitment to the safety of the guests of Allah. How did modern technologies (like apps and digital services) help you perform the rituals? They contributed significantly and effectively to easing every aspect—from navigation to knowing the times and places of rituals, as well as religious and directional guidance. Official apps were extremely helpful, particularly in providing movement schedules, health alerts, and emergency guidance. It's a qualitative leap in the Hajj experience, and I hope to see this technological advancement continue. What advice would you give to those who haven't performed Hajj yet and wish to? Do you plan to perform Hajj or Umrah again? I advise anyone intending to perform Hajj to strictly follow all instructions from the Saudi authorities and the relevant agencies in their country, as these rules are ultimately in the pilgrim's best interest. I also recommend spiritual preparation beforehand—Hajj is not just a trip; it's a profound act of worship that requires heartfelt intention and presence. As for me, I definitely hope to repeat the experience, whether for Hajj or Umrah, whenever God allows. This journey leaves an unforgettable impact on the soul. Hajj Season Aziza's spiritual journey was one of immense depth shaped by trials, patience, devotion, and deep gratitude. With heartfelt honesty, he shared the experiences of his pilgrimage to the sacred lands, painting such a vivid picture that we could almost feel ourselves at his side. His story goes beyond the fulfillment of a religious obligation; it stands as a moving testament to steadfast faith and resilient hope amid hardship. Finally, hajj is not simply a physical passage to Mecca it is a profound journey into the soul itself.
