Katy Perry halts concert to call out fan for messaging Orlando Bloom; threatens to remove him: ‘He don't want you'
Katy Perry left fans stunned during her Saturday night concert at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, when she suddenly broke character mid-performance to address a fan directly from the stage. The packed crowd erupted as the pop icon paused her Lifetimes Tour set, crouched down dramatically, and stared pointedly at one audience member. 'I know why you're here,' she said, locking eyes with a fan named Kyle, who has been allegedly texting actor Orlando Bloom, Perry's partner. 'Listen, if you keep DM-ing my man … you've been doing it for months, ever since the residency. You didn't come to see me play.' The crowd roared with laughter and cheers as Perry said, 'If you keep on DM-ing my man I'm going to have you removed – seriously, get your own life.' She didn't stop there. In a moment that has now gone viral online, she delivered a fierce message: 'He don't want you, Kyle. I'm his wife. I'm his, he's mine … stay the f**k away.' A post shared by New York Post (@nypost) But what seemed like a raw, unscripted confrontation turned out to be part of the act. Perry used the moment to segue seamlessly into her next track, I'm His, He's Mine, her 2024 single that's become a fan favorite. While the playful drama thrilled the audience in Nevada, Perry's ambitious 84-date Lifetimes world tour hasn't been smooth sailing. Though she packed arenas across Australia earlier this year, her shows in the United States have struggled with ticket sales, with several venues reportedly falling short of full capacity, according to the New York Post. Her tour's production design has also drawn criticism online, with some calling the visuals 'cheap' and lacking the flair fans expect from a star of her calibre. Adding to her recent challenges, reports surfaced that Perry won't be returning for another stint in Las Vegas, following backlash from her controversial Blue Origin space flight in April – a high-profile, all-female mission that included Gayle King and Lauren Sanchez but received mixed reactions from the public.

Katy Perry stops Nevada show to call out fan messaging Orlando Bloom
Pop star Katy Perry paused her concert at the T-Mobile Arena in Nevada to address a fan she accused of sending private messages to her fiancé, actor Orlando Bloom. During her Lifetimes world tour, Perry singled out a fan named Kyle, warning him to stop messaging Bloom, saying, 'If you keep DM-ing my man, I'm going to have you removed.' Katy Perry halts concert to call out a fan who had been sending messages to her husband. 'If you keep dm-ing my man…you've been doing it for months since my residency…I'm going to have you removed. Seriously. Get your own life I'm his wife.' — Oli London (@OliLondonTV) May 20, 2025 The exchange, however, was part of a scripted stunt to engage the audience before Perry performed her 2024 single, I'm His, He's Mine. The tour, supporting Perry's seventh studio album 143, has faced criticism and challenges, including delayed starts, low ticket sales, and canceled dates. Perry's recent struggles also include fallout from her controversial Blue Origin space flight in April 2025, which was widely mocked. Sources revealed that Perry's previous Las Vegas residency at Resorts World was deemed a 'disaster' by the venue due to poor financial returns, with reports stating the hotel lost money on her show. Despite the setbacks, Perry continues to perform, addressing online criticism during her May 12 concert in Chicago, where she denied being the 'most hated person on the internet.' The singer's current tour and past residency illustrate the ups and downs of her career following high-profile events, including her space trip and the mixed reception of her recent music.

Katy Perry pauses concert to accuse fan in audience of 'messaging Orlando Bloom'
Katy Perry has jokingly taken aim at a fan who was caught messaging her fiancé Orlando Bloom. Last month the singer, 40, kicked off her Lifetimes world tour, her first tour in seven years. After narrowly avoiding a wardrobe malfunction on stage earlier this week, Katy has now been filmed calling out a concertgoer for sliding into Orlando's DM's. During her concert at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on May 17, Katy briefly paused the show and singled out a man standing in the crowd. While introducing the song I'm His, He's Mine, she called out the fan for sending messages to Orlando, 48, whom she has been engaged to since 2019 and shares daughter Daisy Dove, 4, with. In a video shared on social media, Katy is seen telling the man: 'Cute grin. I know why you're here.' Another fan in the crowd jumps in and tells Katy to 'get his a**'. 'Listen, if you keep DM'ing my man… Oh, Kyle? I know, I know. You've been doing it for months, ever since the [Play] residency,' she continued. After the fan attempted to hand her something, she added: 'I don't want it. I'm his. I said I'm his. Stay the f*** away.' Despite what appeared to be a tense exchange, it soon emerged it was all a joke. Speaking to Lad Bible after the concert, Kyle revealed he was in on what unfolded, which was really just a segue for her next song. 'This all started because I asked Katy to sing my favourite deep-cut and may have had to call in Orlando for some assistance,' he explained. 'Now I have the concert memory of a lifetime. 'But let's just hope she forgives me for DM-ing her man and allows me back at her next show.' Sharing the video online, Kyle also joked he was in his 'homewrecker era'. More Trending After realising what had actually happened, many declared they'd been left in 'fits of laughter' watching the clip. Despite Katy initially facing calls to suspend all shows after a 'cringe' performance went viral last month, very few tickets remain for her UK dates later in the year and several of her dates around the world have sold out. Katy Perry stops concert to scold fan for messaging Orlando Bloom on social media: ‘Stay the f–k away'
Katy Perry stunned the crowd at her Nevada concert when she paused midway through a set to call out a fan who she says has been continuously sending private messages to her longtime partner, actor Orlando Bloom. As the music stopped playing during her Lifetimes tour on Saturday, the pop star crouched down on the stage, looked one fan directly in the eye and said: 'I know why you're here. Katy Perry narrowly avoids massive wardrobe malfunction while performing
Popstar Katy Perry expertly handled a potentially tricky moment during a live show in Las Vegas over the weekend. The I Kissed a Girl singer, 40, is currently in the middle of her Lifetimes world tour and was on stage in the Nevada city on Saturday. After her brief trip to outer space earlier this year, Katy will be coming to the UK in October, with dates planned for Belfast, Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham, and London. As has been shared in a number of viral clips since the start of the tour, Katy starts sprinting at one point in the show – specifically during a remix of her song Part of Me. And during her Vegas performance over the weekend, that sprint nearly resulted in an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction – but the Roar hitmaker played it off well. Starting off at jogging pace during an instrumental section, Katy ran around the circular stage in thigh-high boots and a sparkling crop top and bra combo – her outfit for the tour. The video then shows the Hot n Cold singer suddenly slowing down to a walking pace as she reaches around to try and hold the straps of her bra together. Styling out the sudden stop into a cool strut, she then laughed the situation off and let her fans know what had almost happened before asking one of her crew to put her bra back together. 'Oh, my bra's gonna come off,' she joked, dancing along to the song. She then danced for a few seconds more before realising she couldn't get her bra back together on her own. Walking over to the side of the stage, Katy signalled for one of her crew to help, saying 'Get my bra back on, Patrick' before turning to the audience and joking: 'Sorry, guys, you didn't pay that much.' Katy then got back to her performance, which immediately involved shouting 'Woah-oh!' at the top of her lungs and dramatically performing a death drop. On TikTok, fan Carlo De Santis said: 'This looks like a dream you try to explain to someone and then give up halfway through. 'Katy Perry ran her bra off and there were these guys who were half-robot swaying back and forth'… oh never mind.' However, the tour itself appears to be going along successfully, despite Katy receiving calls from critics to suspend all shows after a 'cringe' performance went viral. More Trending On X, user Mo wrote a month ago: 'She needs to cancel this tour before it cancels her career I'm so serious.' Clips circulating on social media in April showed Katy dancing on stage, swinging from side to side and throwing her hands up in the air and falling to the floor, just like in the most recent video. After watching, many people weighed in – and some were less than impressed, with TikTok user Madji saying: 'This is the worst choreography I have ever seen in my life.' Despite the calls for Katy to cancel the tour, very few tickets remain for her UK dates later in the year and several of her dates around the world have sold out. Got a story?
