Miley Cyrus sparks fierce speculation her new song is about 'feud' with Dua Lipa: 'She's so obsessed'
You would think that the power duo that came up with the hit-song Prisoner would be tethered for life (or at least be on cordial terms) but a new song may suggest otherwise. Miley Cyrus just came out with the song Every Girl You've Ever Loved and fans are speculating that the 80s-inspired pop song is about her alleged feud with Dua Lipa. The speculation centers around a few lines in the song: 'She speaks the perfect French / She can dance the night away / And still, she'll never break a sweat.' To some, these could easily be vague references. But others were quick to point out that Lipa fits this description almost exactly. She's shown off her French-speaking skills in a remix of Charli XCX and Troye Sivan 's Talk Talk, and her song Dance the Night from the Barbie soundtrack seems to be clearly referenced. The final line - about not breaking a sweat - has been interpreted in several ways, with some reading it as a subtle dig referencing a viral meme that once poked fun at Lipa's lackluster dancing. There is also the possibility that the lyric reflects a deeper comparison between the two artists. While Lipa is known for her cool, composed stage presence, Cyrus has been more open about the emotional and physical effort she puts into her performances. Some listeners believe the lyric may be less about criticizing Lipa and more about Cyrus examining her own feelings of insecurity or competition. So where would this alleged feud have come from? Though the two haven't had any public issues, it's worth noting that the two haven't collaborated since their 2020 song Prisoner - and haven't publicly interacted much since then. Also, fans noticed that recently Prisoner's song credits were changed. Cyrus is now listed as only the featured artist on the track, even though it was originally hers - and she wrote it. These combined occurrences have caused fans to call Cyrus out for the speculated shade. Fans speculated that the lyrics 'she speaks the perfect French' and 'she can dance the night away' are reference to Lipa 'She's so obsessed I can't,' one X (formerly Twitter) user commented, followed by a crying face emoji. Another user mirrored the sentiment, simply writing, 'obsession.' Some fans were shocked at how obvious the reference seemed to be. 'This actually being the real lyrics lmfao she needs to get over whatever happened between them,' one user wrote. The alleged shade comes at a unique time as Cyrus recently made headlines for finally addressing rumors that her 2023 music video for Flowers was shading Jennifer Lawrence who was said to have a fling with Cyrus' ex-husband Liam Hemsworth. When asked if the video was in reference to Lawrence, Cyrus said, 'No, but I love that dress of hers.' Whether the lyric was intended as shade or not, it has definitely sparked conversation - and any of Cyrus' actions typically do.

Found Dua Lipa's Exact Poolside Swimsuit and It Comes in So Many Patterns
When Dua Lipa isn't busy touring the world as an international pop star or attending the Met Gala as one-half of the world's hottest couple, she occasionally finds time for "a lil pauseeeee." On Tuesday, the "Houdini" songstress shared a recap of her low-key Memorial Day Weekend on Instagram with a carousel of beachside photos with her fam. And while fans were convinced her all-white Jacquemus gown signaled something more serious (like, ahem, a wedding), I was far too focused on Lipa's With Jéan bikini to even notice. After the brand claimed credit in a sweet comment on social media—"❤️❤️❤️ Cutest girl in the cutest bikini x," they wrote—I ran to the site to find the exact style in question. I scrolled (with bated breath!) entirely convinced Lipa's bikini would already be sold out and wiped from the internet, only to find the exact version available in every single size. It was an MDW miracle! Even better, the entire set is under $150. The brown polka dot Juni Bikini, which Lipa paired with a casual pony and oversized red-framed glasses, has a classic triangle-shaped top and cheeky-cut bottoms with eyelet lace-up detailing that gives the swimwear a bit of edge. The fully-lined top has an adjustable halter neck and removable padding, while the bottoms include tie sides so you can customize the fit perfectly to your frame. The fabric's crafted from a 90% nylon and 10% spandex combo that's lightweight yet durable and has just the right amount of give. It's also not the only pattern avail on With Jéan's site. While the black and white polka dot combo already sold out, shoppers can snag the Juni style in plenty more—red gingham, leopard print, blue and white stripe, and more (the list goes on!) in sizes XXS to XL. Dua is def more than just a fan of the brand's one bikini. The Australian clothing label is a fav of hers. In fact, she was spotted in a With Jéan Gabriella Dress just last week and wore the viral red halter—you know, the one celebs were practically making a personality trait— last summer. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to toss out my entire wardrobe and head straight to With Jéan while channeling "What would Dua wear." Megan Schaltegger is an NYC-based writer. Dua Lipa Styles Her Favorite $100 Sneakers With Boyfriend Jeans and a Leopard Print Top
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Dua Lipa is currently on her Radical Optimism Tour, but she still found some time to take her favorite $100 sneakers to the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday, May 25. Having already demonstrated her love for Formula 1-inspired attire, Lipa hit the race track with her Puma Speedcats and a $21,700 celeb-beloved watch, all while leaning into the leopard print and belt buckle trends. Lipa's Puma Speedcats quickly became known as a rising It-sneaker, particularly as they are seriously affordable. The versatile Puma Speedcat Og comes in a plethora of colors, almost all of which retail at the $100 price point. However, the "Levitating" singer didn't shy away from including a little loud luxury in her outfit. An eye-catching, $21,700 Panthère de Cartier gold watch—which has a huge celebrity fan base—perfectly contrasted with the superstar's more affordable wardrobe picks. A pair of black faded Coperni Boyfriend Denim Pants, currently retailing for $371, were an ideal casual fit for the Grand Prix. She paired the mid-rise boyfriend jeans with a Coperni black logo belt, a Coperni yellow leopard print top, and a black nylon jacket. View Deal View Deal View Deal Everyone from Meghan Markle to Elle Fanning and Kylie Jenner, sister Kendall, and Taylor Swift has shown their love for Cartier's delicate timepieces. While Lipa's allegiance will seemingly always be to Puma's Speedcat Og model, she's recently taken the brand's ballet sneakers for a test-drive. Rihanna, Jennifer Lawrence, Kaia Gerber and Gigi Hadid are all dedicated fans of the Puma Speedcat, too. View Deal View Deal View Deal During her appearance at the Monaco Grand Prix, Lipa accessorized her outfit with a $56,000 Tiffany & Co. Dua Lipa Channels the Formula 1 Look in a Gucci Racing Jacket
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. The fashion-to-Formula-1 pipeline should truly be studied. Over the last few years, the racing crowd has shifted from camo hat-wearing dads to fashion girlies with a capital F. At the moment, stars like Kylie Jenner, Hailey Bieber, and Winnie Harlow are all down south, attending the 2025 Miami Grand Prix. And though Dua Lipa likely isn't one of them (she was photographed in New York City earlier this week, ahead of the Met Gala), she's steady sporting the racing aesthetic. Lipa is currently in the midst of a full-fledged Gucci kick. She stepped out wearing the brand's crystal-embellished, mesh sling-backs on Tuesday, before posting another Gucci-forward look to the grid. The former was corporate sleaze cosplay, but the latter is straight off of the racetrack. In honor of F1's weekend event, the pop star reprised one of the sportiest styles in her repertoire. She dusted off her trusty Gucci racing jacket, which features black and yellow color blocking and dual tiger heads embroidered onto its front. Similar to her other Gucci 'fit, Lipa styled it with a white tee and button-down, with loose-fit black pants. Though most of the pop star's look stuck to the racing theme, her choice footwear was inspired by a different sport entirely: dance. She left her trusty Puma ballet sneakers at home and slipped on a pair of $1,090 square-toed Gucci pointe shoes. In addition to their authentic shape, the ballerina flats were also fitted with multiple straps, a leather bow, and the brand's signature horsebit hardware, for added edge. View Deal Though she might not be the first celeb who comes to mind when you think of Formula 1, Lipa is a longtime fan. She performed at the Singapore Grand Prix in 2018 and, since then, racing jackets have become one of her favorite outerwear trends. Today, she owns a full-fledged collection of leather jackets in varying color combinations. In the last year alone, she's made the look her signature, throwing them on for every possible occasion—from date night with her fiancé Callum Turner to award show after-parties, like the 2024 Brit Awards where she wore this burgundy style. Whether or not she'll make an appearance at this weekend's races is yet to be seen. But even from half-way across the country, Lipa is still Formula 1's best-dressed fan.

Dua Lipa named most played artist across UK TV and radio for second time
The singer, 29, known for hits including Dance The Night and Levitating, has ousted Shape Of You singer Ed Sheeran from the top spot, ending his three-year run at number one. Sheeran, 34, who recently shared details of an eighth studio album, now sits at number three with US pop star Taylor Swift the second most played artist of 2024. Lipa said: 'It's a real honour to be named the most played artist in the UK for the second time. '2024 was an incredible year and I'm so grateful to everyone who has supported my music on the radio, TV and in venues around the country. Thanks also to PPL for continuing to support artists and our music.' Lipa, who has won several Brit Awards and three Grammys, headlined Glastonbury Festival last year shortly following the release of her third studio album Radical Optimism. She is the youngest person to feature on this year's Sunday Times 40 Under 40 Rich List, making her one of the wealthiest musicians in the UK. Lipa has racked up seven years of airplay on UK radio and TV, with her music played an average of 400 times per day, according to PPL data. Her 2018 hit single One Kiss with Calvin Harris remains her most played song of all time, averaging 55 plays per day across UK radio and TV. She previously appeared at the top of PPL's most played artist chart in 2020, the same year she released the album Future Nostalgia, which contains hits Don't Start Now and Hallucinate. Her 2024 single Houdini, which went to number two on the UK chart, features on PPL's list of most played tracks of that year, coming in at number six. Leading the charge at number one, however, is Noah Kahan's Stick Season, which spent seven weeks at the top of the UK singles chart last year. This is followed with Lose Control by US artist Teddy Swims at number two and Beautiful Things by Benson Boone at number three. British singer Myles Smith, who was named Brits Rising Star ahead of this year's Brit Awards, features at number five with his song Stargazing. Peter Leathem, PPL chief executive, said: 'Congratulations once again to Dua Lipa for leading PPL's most played artist chart, and to Noah Kahan for securing the most played track of the year. 'British artists continue to perform well, making up 70% of the top 10 – proving they have staying power across the nation's broadcasters, businesses and public spaces. 'It is also fantastic to see fresh UK talent such as Myles Smith make a big splash in the top five most played tracks, showing there is plenty of promise in UK music going forward.' PPL licenses the use of recorded music on radio, TV and in public places across the UK, including shops, bars, restaurants, gyms, offices and warehouses, and receives extensive airplay reporting data from such broadcasters and public performance venues.
