This is the sixth film in the Predator franchise . Directed by Dan Trachtenberg , the movie features Elle Fanning in a double role as twin Fanning plays two sisters in Predator: Badlands. The teaser shows them trying to survive while being hunted by a predator from another world. The setting is remote and wild. The plot focuses on their escape and Trachtenberg directs the new film. He also directed Prey, the previous movie in the franchise. Prey was released on Hulu. It received four Emmy nominations in 2024. It won the award for outstanding sound editing. Trachtenberg has also directed 10 Cloverfield Lane and episodes of The Boys, Black Mirror, and The Lost Fanning earlier played Catherine the Great in the Hulu series The Great. She also worked in A Complete Unknown, a film about Bob Dylan. She starred alongside Timothée Chalamet in that movie. Her past works include Super 8, Maleficent, Trumbo, and The Neon Trachtenberg co-wrote the script with Patrick Aison, who also worked on Prey. Brent O'Connor is the main producer. Richard Cowen is the co-producer. Predator: Badlands is set to release in theaters on November 7, Trachtenberg is directing. He earlier made Prey and worked on 10 Cloverfield Lane and shows like The Boys and Black Badlands will release on November 7, 2025, in theaters worldwide.
