Watch: Jelly Roll slams Logan Paul through a desk on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'
July 17 (UPI) -- Jelly Roll slammed Logan Paul through a desk while guest hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday. Jelly Roll was promoting his involvement with WWE and had wrestler Randy Orton on as his guest. Jelly Roll and Orton are set to face Paul and wrestler Drew McIntyre in a Tag Team match at WWE's SummerSlam, which takes place over two nights on Aug. 2 and 3. Cardi B will host the event. Orton, who was discussing how he comes from a wrestling family, had his interview cut short by McIntyre who crashed the show. McIntyre made fun of Jelly Roll's weight loss before Orton started brawling with the Scottish Warrior. The two grapplers exchanged blows before they took their fight into the hallway. Jelly Roll was then confronted by Paul, who slapped the singer across the face. Jelly Roll responded by lifting the social media star up and smashing him through Kimmel's desk. Jelly Roll Chokeslams Logan Paul Through a Desk After Wrestler Trash-Talks Him
NEED TO KNOW After Logan Paul interrupted Jelly Roll's interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the country singer brought him down with a chokeslam Jelly and Paul previously faced off at WWE's SmackDown! In August, Jelly will appear at SummerSlam for a tag team match with Randy OrtonDon't mess with Jelly Roll! On Wednesday, July 16, the country star took over Jimmy Kimmel Live! as guest host and interviewed WWE legend Randy Orton, who's set to be his tag team partner at SummerSlam next month. At the wrestling event, the pair will face off against Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre. "Don't worry about those guys, Jelly. We got them," Orton, 45, said to the "Need a Favor" singer, 40, who said he is "worried about them." "We got each other's back man. We're in this together," Orton said. Moments later, McIntyre — who insisted he came in peace — crashed the interview to trash talk Jelly. "Nobody flew here to see you act like a prick. Wrong time, wrong place. Why don't you back the f--- up?" Orton said to McIntyre as he gave him a shove, which led to a full-blown fight. "I don't know what to do... I guess we're gonna go to commercial break," Jelly said after the wrestlers fought their way off the stage. Then, Paul appeared onstage and started trash-talking Jelly. "You people are so stupid. Someone has to stop him. What are you dummy? You're a late-night talk show host? You a wrestler? You a country star? I told you this Mr. Dummy Roll. Stay in your lane, stupid, because I'll tell you what you are. You, my friend, are a greasy, red neck, prison rat," he said, before giving Jelly a slap across the face. He continued, "Congrats, it's Logan Paul's show now. A real superstar. So ladies and gentlemen, you want to see a real star? I'm here. Why don't you leave?" After recovering from the slap, Jelly grabbed him by the neck and chokeslammed him on the desk, causing it to shatter. As the crowd cheered, Paul laid unconscious on the ground. On July 11, Jelly made an appearance at SmackDown! in Nashville and had a face-off with Paul. At the time, he got the crowd roaring when he came to Orton's defense and sent Paul tumbling across the ring. Meanwhile, as host for Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Jelly delivered a hilarious monologue to kick off the night — and revealed to the crowd that he had a plan in case his jokes didn't land. "I need y'all to be patient with me tonight," said Jelly. "This is my first time doing something like this, and I'm going to try my best. I am. But if I really suck bad, y'all just remember — my name is Post Malone." Read the original article on People

Jelly Roll Makes His Late-Night Hosting Debut, Jokes His Name Is Post Malone In Case He 'Really Sucks'
NEED TO KNOW Jelly Roll guest-hosted the Wednesday, July 16 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! He jokingly told the audience his name is "Post Malone," but only if his jokes "really suck bad" "Thank you again to Jimmy Kimmel for taking a chance on my fat, white trash ass," said JellyJelly Roll can now add late-night talk show host to his resume. On Wednesday, July 16, the country star stepped in as the guest host of Jimmy Kimmel Live! and delivered a hilarious monologue to kick off the episode. He did have a plan, however, for if his jokes didn't land with the audience. "I need y'all to be patient with me tonight," said Jelly, 40, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord. "This is my first time doing something like this, and I'm going to try my best. I am. But if I really suck bad, y'all just remember — my name is Post Malone." Luckily, there was no need to hide behind his fellow Big Ass Stadium Tour performer's identity for the evening, as Jelly was a natural. "Do not adjust your TV — Jimmy did not join MS-13. I am your guest host, Jelly Roll. Tune in, baby," he exclaimed at the top of his monologue. "Now y'all know every guest gets on here, and they say it's great to be here. But I want to talk to y'all. Speaking as a guy who has been to prison before, it really is great to be here," said Jelly, who's been incarcerated around 40 times in his life. "Actually, it's kind of great to be anywhere. Hell, I walked into a DMV yesterday, and I was like, 'This is fucking awesome. God, this is great.'" In addition to his late-night hosting debut, the "Save Me" singer spoke about his upcoming match at WWE SummerSlam, where he'll team up with Randy Orton against Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul. The sporting event will air via Peacock in the U.S. and Netflix internationally on Aug. 2 and 3. "Don't clap for Logan Paul. You don't clap for Logan Paul," Jelly told the Jimmy Kimmel Live! crowd. "I decided to do it because truthfully, there are three things that I'm always mistaken for. I'm either mistaken for a wrestler, a tattoo artist, or a member of the Insane Clown Posse who just got sober." He added, "I know you're probably thinking, 'Jelly, how the hell are you going to fight in a pro wrestling match?' But I do have a lot of qualifications. As a fat guy, I've broken several folding chairs." The Grammy-nominated musician further detailed why SummerSlam will mark a "big moment" for him. "I faced my share of struggles in life, y'all. I faced adversity. I've overcame and I never thought, but I am going to have a moment that every American has dreamed of," he said. "And that is the moment of slapping Logan Paul in his face." "Thank you again to Jimmy Kimmel for taking a chance on my fat, white trash ass," quipped Jelly, who later gave silly nicknames (like his own) to Kimmel's staff and presented a few "Jelly Awards" to the subjects of some outrageous viral videos. Jelly and Post recently wrapped the U.S. leg of their Big Ass Stadium Tour, and they're now gearing up for the Big Ass World Tour in Europe, which kicks off next month. "Dear Austin, I say this on stage in some way every night, but man, being on this tour with you has been unreal. I have never had more fun in my life," wrote Jelly on Instagram last month. Jelly Roll Clashes With Logan Paul at WWE SmackDown in Nashville: Watch
Jelly Roll stepped into the WWE ring once again on Friday (July 11), facing off with Logan Paul during Smackdown in the singer's hometown of Nashville. Close to a year after making his WWE debut at SummerSlam 2024, the 40-year-old country star returned to the spotlight — this time at Bridgestone Arena — to perform his song 'Liar,' which served as the official theme for last year's SummerSlam. But less than a minute in, the moment was interrupted by Paul, who stormed in with some cutting words for the singer-rapper. 'Everyone is here to see real WWE superstars. Certainly not to listen to music made for people who have tattoos of their children but don't have custody of them,' Paul said. 'Listen Jelly, this ring is sacred… you belong on a stage, not a WWE ring.' He continued, 'You know what I'm disgusted by? Celebrities, influencers, personalities — whatever you want to classify this as — coming in to our industry, leeching off of our success on a platform that we have built, brother. Clout chasers like you disgust me … The WWE doesn't need a Jelly Roll, the WWE needs a Logan Paul.' As Paul continued boasting about his new long-term deal with WWE, Jelly Roll fired back with some words of his own. 'Hold on, hold on, hold on. You must not completely understand where you are, Logan Paul,' he said. 'You see, this is my hometown, Nashville, Tennessee. Just so we're clear, down here, nobody gives a damn about your podcast, Logan.' As the back-and-forth escalated, WWE legend Randy Orton made a surprise entrance, stepping in to defend Jelly. Orton confronted Paul and appeared ready to settle things in the ring until wrestler Drew McIntyre stormed in and blindsided Orton with a jump kick. McIntyre was quickly escorted out, but the distraction gave Paul an opening, and he removed his vest and began landing punches on the disoriented Orton. Jelly stepped in to stop the attack, grabbing Paul by the hair and shoving him aside. Security then pulled Paul from the ring, but not before destroyed Jelly's music equipment, smashing guitars, pushing over amps, and trashing the drum set. The altercation could be setting the stage for an official showdown between Jelly and Paul at this year's SummerSlam, scheduled for Aug. 2–3 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. Jelly Roll Celebrated His ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!' Hosting Gig By Chokeslamming Logan Paul Through His Desk
Jelly Roll made quite the impression during his debut as the guest host of Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday night (July 16). 'Do not adjust your TV, Jimmy did not join [Salvadoran street gang] MS-13,' Jelly said to open his monologue, which included a joke about his felonious past. 'Y'all know every guest gets on here and they say it's great to be here,' he added. 'But I want to talk to y'all speaking as a guy who has been to prison before, it really is great to be here.' The country star had jokes, quipping that if he blew the assignment and 'I really suck bad,' they should remember that his name is 'Post Malone,' a friendly dig at his pal with whom he just wrapped the Big Ass Stadium tour. In addition to giving the staff nicknames and taking a playful dig at the ESPY Awards taking place across town with his own 'Jelly Awards,' the 'Son of a Sinner' singer was mostly focused on one thing: his upcoming wrestling debut. 'SummerSlam's going to be a big moment for me,' he said. 'I faced my share of struggles in life y'all. I faced adversity, I overcame and I am going to have a moment that every American has dreamed and that is the moment of slapping Logan Paul in his f–king face!' The hype continued during Jelly Roll's chat with his wrestling partner Orton, when McIntyre and Paul interrupted his interview with the third-generation grappler and things went sideways after Jelly admitted he was a bit worried about the showdown. Uninvited guest McIntyre initially praised Jelly Roll for 'working his arse off' and losing 200 pounds, calling him an 'inspiration to trailer trash all across the world.' Orton defended his partner, landing a series of blows on McIntyre as they punched their way off stage and Paul swaggered out to a chorus of boos, insulting 'Mr. Dummy Roll' and telling him to stay in his lane. Jelly wasn't having it. After Paul smacked him in the face and called him a 'greasy redneck prison rat,' Jelly grabbed Paul and chokeslammed him through the breakaway host desk. 'What up dog? You come in here messin' with me, son!' he yelled as Paul lay prone in a pile of splinters. Before things went pear-shaped, Orton had high praise for his tag team partner, lauding lifelong wrestling fanatic Jelly for his work ethic. 'I've never seen somebody work so hard to get into our ring, to step into our world… we're gonna tear it up!' The training showed in both Jelly's expert smack talk and smackdown, as well as his smooth, relaxed hosting abilities, including during a sweet show-opening interview with actor Jeremy Renner. Jelly and Paul first butted heads back on July 11 when the singer stepped into the ring during a Smackdown event — a year after making his WWE debut at SummerSlam 2024 — to sing his hit 'Liar' and get into it with Paul. After some digs about his checkered past from Paul and a surprise appearance by Orton, who defended Jelly, McIntyre blindsided Orton. The singer jumped to his friend's defense and pulled Paul back by the hair and shoved him aside, but not before Logan smashed up Jelly's musical equipment, trashing his guitars and drum set. The carefully calibrated confrontation, of course, set up their upcoming showdown at the Aug. 2-3 SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
