The newly revealed Logitech G522 Lightspeed could become the new mid-range wireless gaming headset to beat

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Updated, May 23, 2025 - Logitech has lowered the expected price of the G522 Lightspeed from $179.99 to $159.99 in the US. The story has been updated to reflect this, but otherwise remains as originally published. Logitech G has revealed the Logitech G522 Lightspeed This wireless gaming headset boasts an impressive feature set and a great microphone It hits shelves on June 16 for $159.99 / £139.99 / AU$299.95 Gaming accessory brand Logitech G has announced the Logitech G522 Lightspeed, a new wireless gaming headset intended to supersede the popular Logitech G733 Lightspeed. The G522 Lightspeed features redesigned earcups, with a wider shape and an added layer of memory foam for enhanced comfort. It has a lightweight, adjustable fabric headband, which now rests flatter than its predecessor and has built-in ridges for better cooling. The exterior of each ear cup features four eye-catching customizable RGB lighting zones, which can be tweaked to the color of your choice in the Logitech G Hub desktop software. It's also compatible with the Logitech G mobile app. Under the hood, the headset is packing Logitech G's highest-fidelity 40mm Pro-G drivers with 24-bit / 48kHz signal processing for enhanced audio clarity and detail. The headset comes bundled with a removable omnidirectional microphone, which offers an impressive 16-bit / 48kHz bandwidth. It's the same microphone found in the excellent, but much more expensive, Astro A50 X, which impressed with its crystal clear recordings in my hands-on testing. On the Logitech G522 Lightspeed, the microphone has the added benefit of a built-in red LED indicator that illuminates when it's muted. As its name would suggest, the headset can connect to PC or PlayStation 5 via Logitech's Lightspeed wireless dongle (which is included in the box), but also supports traditional Bluetooth for the aforementioned platforms in addition to Nintendo Switch and mobile. There's also the option for wired play via its USB Type-C connector. Logitech claims up to 40 hours of battery life with the default lighting on, or up to 90 hours with it disabled, which is a pretty impressive figure. It's not quite the up to 200 hours promised by the competing HyperX Cloud III S, but it's still more than enough juice for a few weeks' worth of intense gaming sessions. The Logitech G522 Lightspeed hits shelves on June 16 in white or black colorways. It costs $159.99 / £139.99 / AU$299.95, putting it in the midrange price bracket. Its expansive feature set seems very promising, but only time will tell whether it becomes one of the best PC gaming headsets or best PS5 headsets around. Anthropic is introducing a voice interaction mode for its Claude AI assistant. This feature, available through the mobile app, allows for spoken conversation and hands-free use. Memorial Day Deal: My Favorite Wireless Keyboard Is Still 20% Off After the Holiday

Over a decade ago, Logitech made the perfect keyboard for my needs: the K810. It was a compact tenkeyless wireless keyboard with Bluetooth and backlit keys. While those two boxes are far from hard to check off today, they were at the time. Best of all, I loved that I could seamlessly switch the keyboard to up to three different devices by just tapping a key. It wasn't perfect, though. The biggest downside of the K810 was its build quality. While it wasn't bad, it didn't feel super solid. As time went on, it became increasingly hard to find, and Logitech had discontinued it by 2019. I wasn't alone in missing it, either. You can find plenty of Reddit posts looking for alternatives or pleas to Logitech to rerelease the K810. I found myself buying at least two used or refurbished K810s from eBay since Logitech hadn't produced a proper replacement. Luckily, Logitech introduced a true successor to the K810 in 2021. The Logitech MX Keys Mini was nearly everything any K810 owner could want in a successor. It has the same compact and minimal design, backlit keys that are more comfortable to type on, easy switching to other devices, a much-needed upgrade to USB-C for charging, and a solid build quality that goes toe-to-toe with Apple's Magic Keyboard. In fact, I have no problem recommending the Keys Mini over Apple's equivalent offering any day of the week. The Keys Mini comes with a $100 price tag that might be a hard pill to swallow for some, but if you're like me and spend several hours a day using a keyboard (and, yes, I'm typing this on my Keys Mini), the price is justified. And right now, you can grab the MX Keys Mini in pale gray for 20% off, thanks to a Memorial Day deal that's still going on at Amazon. If you're not a keyboard snob and just need a keyboard for casual use, I'd still recommend the MX Keys Mini. Typing on it is a great experience, especially if you like a minimal and compact layout. The Keys Mini isn't going to impress someone looking for a gaming keyboard, but if that's what you're in the market for, we have you covered with our best gaming keyboards for 2025. Why I like the Logitech MX Keys Mini keyboard The MX Keys Mini has a lot going for it. The backlit keys automatically turns off when I'm not using the keyboard and turns on as my hands approach it. Its ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the brightness of the keys to my current lighting conditions, though I can also manually adjust this as well. The surface of the keys themselves are slightly concave, so typing on them feels great. I love this keyboard so much that I have two of them. David Carnoy/CNET I also love the battery life. Logitech's website claims the Keys Mini will last up to 10 days on a single charge or up to 5 months with the backlighting turned off. That seems to undersell it. Even with daily use, I don't find myself having to charge the keyboard more than once a month. The top row of keys comes with some standard and not-so-standard abilities. The expected multimedia, volume, esc and del keys are present, along with the three easy switch buttons to change the Bluetooth connection to another device I've already paired to and the backlight intensity keys. The keyboard has a useful and dedicated dictation key, a mic mute/unmute key and an emoji key to open the emoji window for supported apps. While I can't say I've ever used the emoji key, I love the idea that enough typists want something like this and that Logitech included it. The MX Keys Mini is about two-thirds the size of MX Keys. David Carnoy/CNET Available for $99 in both Windows If you missed the Memorial Day sales, don't forget to check out the Amazon and Best Buy deals that are still going on.

Logitech is Flipping the Script on Complex Meetings with Rally Board 65

All-in-one video solution packs advanced capabilities into a simple, mobile conferencing device SINGAPORE and KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia and HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam, May 27, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Logitech (SIX: LOGN) (NASDAQ: LOGI), today announced Rally Board 65, an all-in-one portable video conference solution that combines intelligent audio and video with a 65" touchscreen display. Rally Board 65 is simple enough to roll on a cart into satellite offices, yet sophisticated enough to pack a suite of AI-powered features, occupancy and environmental detection into traditional meeting rooms. Businesses face this dilemma every day: they want to provide modern video conferencing tools for their hybrid workforces, but IT teams are grappling with increasing workloads as their tech environments become more complicated. "Today's hybrid workforce demands that every space—be it an open area, a traditional meeting room, or a collaboration zone—be video‑enabled and ready for spontaneous collaboration," said Sharon Seah, Head of Sales (Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam), Logitech for Business. "That insight led us to ask: how do you deliver enterprise‑grade conferencing intelligence without the deployment headaches? Rally Board 65 is our answer—a flexible, plug‑and‑play platform that dismantles the complexity companies face." The powerful, all-in-one video conferencing solution can be up and running within minutes in Android, PC, or BYOD mode, whether teams use Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or Google Meet*. Simply roll Rally Board 65 on a cart into an open space and flip the device 180 degrees to orient the camera at eye level, or install it in a meeting room with the camera above or below the screen–all with very little IT support. Building on its exceptionally sharp 4K video, Rally Board 65 comes loaded with AI-powered audio visual tech RightSight 2 and RightSound 2 that have become hallmarks of Logitech's video bars. To further refine the experience, Camera Zone limits visual framing and Mic Zone minimizes sound pickup within a designated area. The new Depth Blur technique obscures surroundings, an effect similar to background blur people are accustomed to using on their desktops during video calls. "Think of this trio as a digital cocoon for meetings in open spaces," said Henry Levak, VP of Product, Logitech for Business. "Rally Board 65 uses 3D spatial mapping technology to focus on the action in the meeting, not outside distractions." Sensors within Rally Board 65 detect the presence of people so that IT teams can get accurate readings of how and when employees are using video spaces. These sensors also analyze environmental data like humidity, temperature, and CO2 levels, assign a room health and later, will provide a room energy score, then deliver recommendations to increase ventilation, take breaks, or reduce the number of seats in a room. Insights are fed into Logitech Sync, a centralized platform for IT teams to get a bird's eye view of their organization, drill down for details on specific room performance, and automatically book and release rooms. Approach to SustainabilityUsing our Design for Sustainability principles, Rally Board 65 was engineered to minimize its environmental impact, using up to 41%* next-life plastics, low-carbon aluminum, recycled fabrics, and FSC-certified packaging. Environmental benefits go beyond physical design. The radar system in Rally Board 65 allows the device to automatically switch to a lower power state when no one is in the space–a function that can significantly reduce the power consumption of customers' commercial buildings. Occupancy, room health, and energy sensing capabilities are also available in a standalone device, Logitech Spot. * Certification details here ** Graphite: 41%, Off-white: 27% About LogitechLogitech designs software-enabled hardware solutions that help businesses thrive and bring people together when working, creating, gaming and streaming.
