For a dedicated gaming keyboard, its switches are surprisingly quiet, especially compared to the competition. The keyboard's OmniPoint 3.0 switches are adjustable, so you can program the resistance and the actuation for your keys across 40 levels—a unique feature that SteelSeries calls the 'rapid trigger adjustable switches.' You can also macro program the keys, so when you press the key halfway down, you walk, and pressing the key all the way down triggers your character to run, as an example.
