Sevilla star turns down €30m Premier League move
Sevilla are once again enduring a long, hot summer, with very little to get excited about. As has been the case for the last two summers, Los Nervionenses are in need of departures before they bring players in, allowing them to clear space in their salary limit. Negotiations for an exit for Juanlu Sanchez have been ongoing for weeks, while Dodi Lukebakio is also yet to bring in an offer that has satisfied the club. The other major sale they could pull off is for central defender Loic Bade. The French defender has four more years on his contract, and at 25, is the right age to come into his prime, having already impressed at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in his 2.5 years there. Bade rejects Premier League move As reported by Diario AS, Bournemouth have made an offer of €30m for Bade including variables, which Sevilla were willing to accept. However thus far, the Cherries have been unable to persuade Bade to give the green light for a deal. Photo by ABC / EFE Bournemouth join two others It is not the first time that Bade has turned down a move since arriving at Sevilla for €12m in 2023. AS Roma had an interest in him, while both Stuttgart and Aston Villa could not get the go-ahead from Bade. It seems that he is keen to pick his next move carefully, having had a bad experience at Nottingham Forest in 2022, and could well hold out for a move to a title contender, wherever it may be in Europe. Sevilla's transfer window so far So far the only exit from Sevilla has been Suso, whose contract expired. Right-back Gabriel Suazo and forward Alfon Gonzalez have both signed as free agents, the former likely as a replacement for Juanlu. New Sevilla Sporting Director Antonio Cordon will already be feeling the pressure early on in his reign.

Real Madrid Are Eyeing A Move For This Sevilla Defender: What Will He Bring To The Bernabeu?
In a recent report, Fichajes claimed that Real Madrid are eyeing a move for Sevilla defender Loic Bade this summer. It has been stated that Los Blancos have set their sights on the French centre-back in this transfer period. Bade's Impressive Form In Spanish Football Bade enjoyed a decent run of form at the Andalusian club in the previous campaign after he put in a string of impressive displays at the centre of their backline. The French talent was involved in 33 matches for Sevilla last season, scoring one goal and securing one assist across various competitions. The 25-year-old was a solid presence when defending inside his half as he made 47 tackles, 22 blocks and 29 interceptions in La Liga. He was even tidy when distributing possession from the back, based on his pass success rate of 85.7% in the Spanish top tier (stats via Bade's current contract at the Spanish club will run out in the summer of 2029. Therefore, it won't be easy for Real Madrid to snap him up on the cheap in this transfer window. SEVILLE, SPAIN – APRIL 20: Loic Bade of Sevilla FC reacts during the LaLiga match between Sevilla FC and Deportivo Alaves at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on April 20, 2025 in Seville, Spain. (Photo by) What Will Bade Bring To Real Madrid? Bade is a good tackler of the ball and can scan the danger well to earn the ball back for his team inside his half. He usually clears the danger when the opposition are on the offensive and can even make a few important blocks on the defensive end of the field. The French talent excels at playing his way out from the back. Standing at 1.91m, Bade can even use his robust frame to dominate the opposition attackers in the air. He has got a wealth of experience in La Liga and won't take much time to adjust to life at the Madrid club. Bade would bring more bite and steel to Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso's defence. He has what it takes to compete for a regular starting spot at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium next season. At 25, Bade has his best years ahead of him which makes him a good choice for Los Blancos to consider in this transfer window. Therefore, Alonso should focus on going all out to get a deal over the line for him as he might help them compete across all fronts in the coming years.

Aston Villa and Bayer Leverkusen interested in signing La Liga defender
Aston Villa have regularly looked at the La Liga market since Unai Emery's arrival, and they will do so again this summer in their efforts to improve their defensive options ahead of the 2025-26 season kicking off in August. Aston Villa sporting director is also very familiar with the La Liga market, having worked at Sevilla for many years prior to making the move to Villa Park. And he is keen to bring a player from his former club to the Premier League side. Aston Villa reignite interest in Sevilla defender Loic Bade As reported by MD, Aston Villa are interested in signing Loic Bade this summer, following his impressive France debut during the UEFA Nations League earlier this month. Image via ABC / EP Advertisement Bade has already attracted interest from Aston Villa, but he rejected the opportunity to move during the winter transfer window. But now that the season is over, he could be more willing to join the Villains, who will be playing in the Europa League next season, a competition that he has already won with Sevilla back in 2023. Bayer Leverkusen also keen on making a move for Bade As well as Aston Villa, the report also notes that Bayer Leverkusen want to sign Bade as a replacement for Jonathan Tah, the former Barcelona and Real Madrid target that recently signed for Bayern Munich. Sevilla are expected to consider Bade's sale, as they aim to raise funds for their own transfer business – as well as ease their well-documented financial problems. They reportedly turned down an offer of €20m in January, but they could well look to sell if a proposal in the same region were to arrive in the coming weeks. Bade has been an excellent player for Sevilla over the last 2.5 years, but his departure this summer seems inevitable. And when he does go, he is sure to leave with the best wishes of those at Los Nervionenses.

Liverpool centre-back Jarell Quansah and Sevilla's Loic Bade on Bayer Leverkusen's centre-back shortlist
Fabrizio Romano reports that central defender Jarell Quansah and Loic Bade are on Bayer Leverkusen's shortlist as they look to replace Jonathan Tah. Leverkusen are looking for a replacement for their long-time centre-back, who left the club on a free transfer this summer to join Bayern Munich. Advertisement die Werkself have been heavily linked to AC Milan's Malick Thiaw as their primary target to replace Tah. The 23-year-old will cost around €25m and is open to a return to the Bundesliga, having previously featured for Schalke in 2023. Now, Liverpool's Quansah and Sevilla's Loic Bade have both been added to Leverkusen's shortlist. A move for Quansah will be in a separate deal to Florian Wirtz's pending move to the Premier League champions.
